Claims

[Scope of Claim for Utility Model Registration] (1) A visor body formed of a plate-shaped synthetic resin with an appropriate hardness, with a locking groove formed on one side edge along the length direction to be attached to the rain gutter of an automobile. A base frame of an appropriate height and having an inverted U-shape in plan view is provided at a portion close to the locking groove at a predetermined interval so as to be integrated with the visor body. The inside of the base frame is constructed using a narrow metal thin plate having an appropriate length, and the rear half of the plate-like body is a spring plate made of a flat plate-like body. A clamping plate is elastically attached to the upper surface of the clamping plate, the front end of which is bent in an inverted U-shape to serve as a clamping piece for the rain gutter. This roof visor for an automobile is made up of a U-shaped cut-off stopper which is pivotally attached to a base frame so that it can be raised and lowered freely. (2) A practical structure in which a locking protrusion with an appropriate height is protruded from the center of the holding plate, and the locking protrusion contacts and is pressed by a pressing plate formed at the tip of the stopper.
