Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ハウジングと、該ハウジングの軸孔内に相対移
    動自在に挿入される可動軸との間の隙間を密封す
    るもので、 前記ハウジングの軸孔内周に嵌合される金属環
    と、この金属環に一体的に焼付固定される軸方向
    密封流体側に延びて先端が可動軸表面に密封接触
    するシールリツプを備えたゴム状弾性体と、を備
    え、 前記シールリツプと可動軸との隙間に樹脂製の
    バツクアツプリングを介在させ、該バツクアツプ
    リングの反密封流体側端面を金属環の一端から半
    径方向内方に向かつて延びる補強フランジの密封
    流体側端面に密接させて支持した密封装置におい
    て、 前記金属環の補強フランジ内端に軸方向反密封
    流体側に延びるゴム状弾性体製のダストリツプを
    設け、 前記金属環の補強フランジの密封流体側端面に
    前記補強フランジに焼付固定されたゴム状弾性体
    と前記ダストリツプとを結ぶ連通溝を円周方向に
    複数設けたことを特徴とする密封装置。
