アバツグ装置を運転席用と助手席用とに各々設け
た車両用エアバツク装置において、上記運転席用
及び助手席用エアバツク装置と電源との間に設け
られたバツクアツプコンデンサと、該コンデンサ
の充電電圧を上記電源電圧より高電圧である所定
電圧に昇圧する昇圧回路と、助手席に乗員が着座
していることを検知する乗員検知手段と、助手席
用エアバツク装置への通電を禁止する通電禁止手
段と、助手席が着座状態時に上記通電禁止手段の
作動を解除すると共に上記昇圧回路を作動せしめ
る制御手段とを有することを特徴とする車両用エ
