Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain sanitary beverage container by a method wherein a straw is contained in the container and one end of the straw is made to come out of the container when the container is opened. CONSTITUTION:A container 1 consists of a cylindrical part 6 and an upper lid part 2 on an integral or separable basis. An easily-tearable tab openable part 3 is provided integrally with the upper lid part 2. This tab openable part 3 is provided with a score 4 terminating midway between the tab and the lid edge and has a tab-retained structure. The openable part 3 is also provided with a finger hold 5 at one end thereof. The upper part of a straw is heat bonded to the inner surface of the opening part 3. To drink beverage in this container, the finger hold 5 on the upper lid 2 is pulled up to open the openable part halfway and then the end of the straw 7 through which to suck the beverage comes out of the container.
