をオフして前記放電灯を消灯する投写用光源装置
において、 前記電源オフ操作によつて起動され、予め設定
された所定時間動作するタイマカウンタを備え、
前記タイマカウンタが前記所定時間を計算したの
ち、前記電源回路を給電を停止するようになした
投写用光源装置。 (2) 請求項1記載の投写用光源装置と、映像信
号処理回路とシステム制御回路とからなり、前記
タイマカウンタが前記所定時間を計数している間
は、システム制御回路から映像ミユート信号が映
像信号処理回路に出力され、映像の投写を中止す
るようになした映像投写装置。 (3) 請求項1記載の投写用光源装置と文字信号
発生回路とシステム制御回路とからなり、前記タ

ンタが前記所定時間を計数している間に、前記ス
イツチ群のいずれか1つが操作されたことをシス
テム制御回路が検出すると、前記タイマカウンタ
の計数を中止し、リセツトするようになすととも
に、映像の投写を再開するようになした映像投写
装置。 (6) 請求項3に記載の映像投写装置において、
システム制御回路に接続され、使用者によつて操
作される操作スイツチ群を備え、前記タイマカウ
ンタが前記所定時間を計数している間に、前記ス
イツチ群のいずれか1つが操作されたことをシス
テム制御回路が検出すると、前記タイマカウンタ
の計数を中止しリセツトするようになすとともに
、文字信号発生回路に出力していた文字発生指示
信号を消勢するようにした映像投写装置。
