Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the moving of a patient easily at emergency without pressures to chest and belly parts by arranging a circular section so that a semicircular curved part in a roughly U-shaped base reaches a position of a collarbone at an upper part of the chest part of a human body to block the circulation of blood with the supporting of the weight of the patient being scattered. CONSTITUTION:A semicircular curved part 1 is set in length to reach a position of a collarbone at an upper part of a chest part of a human body and an extension 2 extends along the outside of both chest parts from both ends of the curved part 1 to near an ilium. A roughly U-shaped base 3 having the curved part 1 and the extension 2 is built up of a silicone gel in a monolithic mold or being extendible. The top of the base is provided with a cover. The weight below the chest part is supported separately by both the extensions while the roughly U-shape thereof eliminates pressures to the chest and belly parts hence in noway disturbing operation of the back of a spinal cord. Moreover, the scattering of the weight by such a U-shape is achieved so uniformly as to apply no partial pressure to the body. In addition, supporting from the collar bone part to the body part gets rid of reduction in bleeding, blocking of blood circulation and the like.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 4, a pedestal for posterior spinal surgery has been equipped with a pressure receiving section 7.7 that receives the body weight from the outside of both chests and a pressure receiving section 8.7 that receives the body weight from the outside of both the iliac bones. A frame 9 supporting a pair of pressure receiving parts 7 and 8 is provided, and each pressure receiving part 7 and 8 can be adjusted in the width direction of the patient's chest and armpits, respectively.
The body is also configured to be adjustable in the length direction.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the case of the above configuration, although it is possible to adjust the width of the chest or the length of the torso, the pressure-receiving part is relatively small, and the pressure-receiving part is relatively small, and pressure ulcers occur in this part while supporting the body weight. There is a risk. Also,
Although the pressure-receiving part that receives the body weight is supported by a frame, especially when performing posterior spinal surgery, the patient is placed in a prone position, which makes emergency treatment difficult and time-consuming when cardiac surgery is required. There were also concerns about paralysis and decubitus sores.

The purpose of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems and to be able to disperse and support the patient's weight, and to easily move the patient in an emergency without interfering with blood circulation or compressing the chest or abdomen. The purpose of this invention is to provide a pedestal for posterior spinal surgery that can perform the following functions.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to achieve the above object, the present invention has a semicircular curved portion whose size can be freely adjusted to the position of the clavicle above the human chest, and a curved portion extending from the ends of the curved portion to the outside of both chests. The pedestal for posterior spinal surgery was provided with a substantially U-shaped base made of silicone gel or other plastic, which extends parallel to the axis and extends to the vicinity of the iliac bone, and a cover on the upper surface of the base.

Function: Since the semicircular curved portion of the present invention has a circular portion that extends above the human body's thorax at the clavicle position, the weight around the chest is received by these curved portions, and furthermore, the semicircular curved portion A substantially U-shaped base made of silicone gel or other plastic is provided with extensions extending parallel from the ends along the outside of both chests, so that the body weight below the chest is supported by both extensions. Moreover, due to this approximately U-shape, there is no pressure on the chest or abdomen, and there is no obstacle to surgery on the back of the spine. Moreover, since the U-shape distributes the weight evenly, there is no pressure on any part of the body, and support from the collarbone to the torso reduces blood loss during surgery and inhibits blood circulation. Does not occur.

1 is a semicircular curved portion, and has a size that extends above the human chest and at the collarbone position. The curved portion 1 is a semicircular shape with a radius of 150 mm as the center, a width of 90 mm, and a silicon gel molded product with a thickness of 40 mm and a substantially rectangular cross section.

Reference numeral 2 denotes an extension part which extends in parallel from both ends of the curved part 1 along the outside of both chests, reaching the vicinity of the ilium. A substantially U-shaped base 3 that is integrally molded with silicone gel having the curved portion 1 and the stretched portion 2 or is stretchable is constituted. The length from the upper end of the curved part 1 to the end of the extending part 2 may be 500 mm on average for men, and 400 to 450 mm on average for women. 4 indicates a cover.

Effects of the Invention Since the present invention has the above-described configuration, the weight from above the human body is received by the semicircular curved part in the approximately U-shaped base, and the weight reaching the collarbone is transferred without compressing the chest. Since the semicircular portion supports the patient evenly and in a distributed manner, the surgery can be carried out with peace of mind without any concentrated pressure being received in the semicircular portion, and without the occurrence of bedsores or blood circulation problems. In addition, the stretching part following the curved part provides support from the outside of both chests and the outside of the abdomen, so there is no abdominal pressure, and the weight distribution effect is significant, reducing blood loss during surgery. Local nerve paralysis can be prevented even after surgery.

Furthermore, when it is necessary to perform cardiac surgery in an emergency, the lightweight, flat, and stable pedestal makes it possible to easily turn the patient over or transfer patients, which is highly effective. We were able to provide a very effective surgical platform.
