肉に混入した異物を検出する異物検査装置に於い
て、 前記加工食肉を搬送する搬送手段の両側には搬
送手段と同方向に且つ同速度で移動可能な一対の
挟み込み機構が配設され、 前記一対の挟み込み機構には単位厚さ当たりの
X線透過量が加工食肉のX線透過量と略同一で弾
性変形可能なマスク部材が取付けられ、 前記マスク部材には前記搬送手段によつて搬送
されてきた加工食肉を一対の挟み込み機構の相対
向するマスク部材同士が当接することにより弾性
をもつて隙間なく挟持可能なように凹部が形成さ
れたことを特徴とする異物検査装置。
