Abstract

PURPOSE:To heighten the fluid efficiency of an impeller by composing the impeller using a front shroud and a rear shroud and a plurality of blades put between them. CONSTITUTION:An impeller 6 which is driven and rotated by an electric motor 5 is put behind a dust collecting filter 4 put on the air-sucking side at the inside of a main body 1. Air flow sent out of the impeller 6 is led to a gas discharging outlet 3 by a whirling chamber 7. The impeller 6 is composed of a front shroud 8, a rear shroud 9, and a plurality of blades 10 put between them. Owing to it, since air does not flow well among the blades and before the part of air flow flows in the whirling chamber, the flow of the air flowing out of the blades and flowing in the circumferential direction of the impeller is shut. Consequently, air flow flows efficiently among the blades and the quantity of sucked air flow can be increased.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) However, in the impeller 24 having the above configuration, the air flow is
7, the flow does not flow well between the blades 27, so before flowing into the swirl chamber 25, a part of the flow flows out from between the blades 27 and flows in the circumferential direction of the impeller 24. As a result, the flow rate of air was reduced.

Further, the dirty air that has flowed into the main body 21 is purified by passing through the dust collecting filter 22, but at the same time, the air flow is turbulent. Therefore, the inlet of the impeller generates a vortex, reducing the fluid efficiency of the impeller 24, resulting in a reduction in the suction air volume.

Further, the technical means of the present invention for achieving the second object is such that, in addition to the configuration of the first means, the shape of the front shroud of the impeller is gradually increased from the outer circumferential side to the inner circumferential side. It is about giving shape.

(Effects) The effects of the first means are as follows. By forming the impeller with a front shroud, a rear shroud, and a plurality of blades placed between them, since the flow does not flow well through the blade opening, part of the flow flows out from between the blades before flowing into the swirl chamber. This blocks the flow of air that was flowing in the circumferential direction of the impeller. Therefore, since the airflow can efficiently flow through the blade openings, the amount of suction air can be increased.

By making the shape of the front shroud of the impeller gradually higher from the outer circumferential side to the inner circumferential side, in addition to the same effect as the first method, the flow turbulence that occurred at the inlet of the impeller was eliminated. At the same time, the effect of causing the vortex to flow between the blades along the shape of the front shroud as the impeller rotates is also obtained. Therefore, the suction air volume can be increased even more than the first method.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. An intake grid 2 is formed on the front surface of the main body l, and an exhaust grid 3 is formed on the "-" side, inside which a dust collection filter 4 is provided on the intake side, and behind it is an electric motor 5, which is rotatably driven by the electric motor 5. An impeller 6 and a swirl chamber 7 are provided.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be explained. When the impeller 6 is rotated by the electric motor 5, a flow of dirty indoor air flows in through the intake grid 2 of the main body 1. Fine dust is captured and removed by the dust collection filter 4, and this airflow becomes a clean airflow that flows through the intake port II from the impeller 6 into the vortex chamber 7, and then flows into the volute chamber 7 through the exhaust grate 3 provided on the top surface of the main body. is released into the room again.

Hereinafter, the functions of the front shroud 8 and the rear shroud 9, which are the main points of the embodiment of the present invention, will be explained. Since the air flow does not flow well between the blades 10, a part of the air flows out from between the blades 10 and flows in the circumferential direction of the impeller 6 before flowing into the swirl chamber 7. 8 and rear shroud 9 to block this flow. Therefore, the airflow can efficiently flow between the blades 10, so that the amount of suction air can be increased.

The operation of the embodiment of the present invention will be described below. The air is purified by passing through the dust collecting filter 14, but at the same time, the turbulent airflow is generated at the inlet of the impeller 12 and causes a decrease in the suction air volume. By forming the shape so that the height gradually increases toward the circumference, in addition to the effect of the embodiment of the first means, the vortex generated at the inlet of the impeller 12 due to flow turbulence is moved to the front surface as the impeller 12 rotates. A vortex flow can also be caused to flow between the blades 15 along the shape of the shroud 13.

(Effects of the Invention) According to the first means of the present invention, by forming the impeller with a front shroud, a rear shroud, and a plurality of blades disposed between these, the flow does not flow properly through the blade cabinet of the impeller. Therefore, a part of the flow flows out from between the blades before flowing into the swirl chamber and blocks the flow of air flowing in the circumferential direction of the impeller, thereby providing an air purifier configured to increase the suction air volume. It is something that can be determined.
