ズルおよび吸気口と発泡室との間に所定の距離を
保たせなければならないので装置が大形となり、
構造も複雑となるため、高価なものとなる欠点が
あつた。

デフレクタ9は、上面板5から出つ張つて設けら
れているので、噴射された泡溶液がそのデフレク
タ9によつて放射状に拡散される際、そのデフレ
クタ9がない場合のように上面板5の内面を擦る
ことなく、直接正面板2、背面板3および両側面
板4へ当てられるので泡溶液の流速が衰えること
がなく、撹拌、混合が強力に行われる。また泡放
出口8は、上記のように背面板3′と折り曲げ部
2′の下端縁とによつて形成されているので、そ
の開口面積が上記折り曲げ部2′により徐々に絞
り込まれて筐体1内の圧力を高め、それによつて
筐体1内において生成される消火用泡が互いに押
圧されてその大きさが均一で良質なものとなる。
