Abstract

PURPOSE:To judges the contents of an alarm in stages by converting plural simultaneously generated alarm factors into constants having weights corresponding to respective factors and comparing the value obtained by integrating the constants with a value previously set in a setter. CONSTITUTION:An alarm factor is converted into a constant having a weight by a constant generator 1. The alarm factor is connected to an adding computing element 2 and outputted to an analog alarm device 3-1 with a setter. The alarm device 3-1 compares the input from the computing element 2 with the value previously set in the setter, and when the input value is more than the set point, outputs and displays an alarm signal to/on a representative alarm display device 4-1. Thereby, when plural alarm factors are simultaneously formed, respective alarms can be distinguished, so that even when individual alarm factors are slight alarms, plural simultaneously generated can be informed to the operator as an important failure alarm indicating a high alarm division and operation with high safeness can be attained.

In recent years, the number of alarm factors has increased due to the reduction in the number of operators due to labor-saving measures and the increase in the number of control points in plants due to the advancement of control methods, which has increased the burden on operators.
There is a risk that an error in judgment may occur in the response actions taken by the operator when an alarm occurs.

When a plurality of alarm factors simultaneously generate an alarm, each alarm factor is converted into a weighted constant by the constant generator 1. The alarm factor converted into a weighted constant by the constant generator 1 is connected to the addition calculator 2, and after the addition calculation, is output to the analog alarm device with setting device 3-1. The analog alarm device with setting device 3-1 compares the input from the addition calculator 2 with the preset value of the setting device, and if the input value is equal to or higher than the set value, an alarm signal is sent to the representative alarm display 41. Output to and display.

Category 2 has a greater impact on the plant than Category 1. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the values of constants that give weight to each alarm factor that occurs. The value of the constant is determined depending on the degree of influence on plant operation when an alarm is generated due to an alarm factor. Figure 3 shows the sum of constants with weights corresponding to the alarm factors that occurred, and
