Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a device configuration for signal processing for sequential/ simultaneous system conversion by separating optical information being a recording object into three colors, individually recording them onto a recording medium, emitting a light to individual recording areas simultaneously to generate individual reproduction lights simultaneously and generating simultaneously electric signals each corresponding to the reproduced lights individually. CONSTITUTION:A light from a object O is given to a recording medium RM via a 3-color separation optical system CSA and the image is formed while optical images subject to three-color separation are located side by side. In the reproduction system, a read light from a light source LS is transmitted through the recording medium RM and converged by a lens LP and the image is formed to line image sensors ISr, ISg, ISb whose main scanning direction is the perpendicular direction and the light is subscanned in the direction X. The line image sensors ISr, ISg, ISb give red, green blue signals subject to photoelectric conversion to amplifiers 3, 2, 1 respectively. Thus, the signal processing for the sequential/simultaneous system conversion is easily implemented and the inexpensive recording and reproducing device is realized.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, when a time-series signal according to various sequential methods such as field sequential, line sequential, one fish sequential, etc. is processed and then converted into an output signal in a simultaneous signal form and used, A problem arises in that the equipment configuration for signal processing for sequential-to-simultaneous format conversion becomes large-scale, and there has been a demand for a recording/reproducing apparatus having the above-mentioned configuration. [Means for solving the problem] Recording information in which the electromagnetic radiation flux to be recorded is decomposed into electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to a plurality of predetermined wavelength ranges is stored in each individual recording area of the recording medium. recording means, and a plurality of predetermined individual recording areas of the recording medium that simultaneously apply readout electromagnetic radiation to read out a plurality of individual recording areas from each of the recording areas, each of which is modulated by the respective recording information. A recording/reproducing device comprising a means for generating a reproducing electromagnetic radiation flux and a means for simultaneously generating electric signals corresponding to each of the plurality of reproducing radiation fluxes, and an electromagnetic radiation flux to be recorded. means for recording recorded information in a state where the information is separated into electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to a plurality of predetermined wavelength ranges in separate recording areas of a recording medium; and a plurality of predetermined individual recordings in the recording medium. means for generating a plurality of reproducing electromagnetic radiation fluxes modulated by respective recording information from each of the recording areas by simultaneously applying readout electromagnetic radiation to the recording areas; a synthesizing means for synthesizing the reproduced electromagnetic radiation fluxes as electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to predetermined individual wavelength ranges among a plurality of wavelength ranges; A recording/reproducing device comprising means for simultaneously generating individual electromagnetic radiation fluxes separated into electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to a plurality of wavelength ranges and electrical signals corresponding to each individual electromagnetic radiation flux; A recording device having a means for recording recorded information in a state in which electromagnetic radiation flux is decomposed into electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to a plurality of predetermined wavelength ranges in separate recording areas of a recording medium, and means for simultaneously applying reading electromagnetic radiation to a plurality of the above-mentioned individual recording areas, thereby generating a plurality of reproducing electromagnetic radiation fluxes modulated by respective recorded information from each of the above-mentioned recording areas; Individual regeneration l! in the plurality of regeneration radiation fluxes described above! a first component consisting of an electromagnetic radiation flux, a combining means for synthesizing the electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to predetermined individual wavelength ranges among a plurality of wavelength ranges, and a composite electromagnetic radiation flux synthesized by the combining means; a reproducing device comprising a second component that simultaneously generates individual electromagnetic radiation fluxes decomposed into electromagnetic radiation fluxes belonging to a plurality of predetermined wavelength ranges and individually corresponding electric signals; Provided is a recording/reproducing device which can serve as both a recording device and a first component of the reproducing device. [Operation] Optical information to be recorded is separated into three colors by a three-color separation optical system and recorded in separate recording areas on a recording medium. By simultaneously irradiating readout light onto individual recording areas in which three-color separated information is recorded on a recorded recording medium, a plurality of individual recording areas are modulated by each recorded information from each recording area. reproduction lights are simultaneously generated, and electric signals individually corresponding to the plurality of individual reproduction lights are simultaneously generated. In addition, reading light is simultaneously irradiated to individual recording areas in which three-color separated information is recorded on the recorded recording medium, and the reading light is simultaneously modulated by each recorded information from each recording area. A plurality of generated individual reproduction lights are combined by a three-color combining optical system, and then a plurality of color signals are simultaneously generated by a CCD color sensor. [Embodiment 1] Hereinafter, specific contents of the recording/reproducing apparatus of the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIGS. 1 and 2 are block diagrams showing a schematic configuration of a recording system, FIGS. 3 and 4 are block diagrams showing a schematic configuration of a reproduction system, and FIG. 5 is a block diagram showing an example configuration of a recording/playback device. , FIGS. 6 to 8 are block diagrams used to explain the recording medium, and FIG. 9 is a block diagram used to explain the optical information reproducing system. In the imaging system shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, O is an object, TL is an imaging lens (taking lens), PS is an optical shutter, and CSA is a three-color separation optical system. RM is a recording medium, and as the recording medium RM, both irreversible and reversible recording media can be used as long as the recording medium has recording characteristics that allow optical information to be recorded. The well-known silver halide film or various types of recording media as described below, that is, recording media that record optical information in the form of a charge image, and changes in optical properties depending on the electric field intensity corresponding to the optical image. A recording medium for recording in the form of can also be used. In FIGS. 1 and 2, the recording medium RM has a subject 0.
is applied to the recording medium RM via the imaging lens TL, optical shutter PS, and three-color separation optical system C8A.
The optical image of the subject is separated into three colors, and the optical images of each color are formed in a juxtaposed state. , imaged onto the write head WH). The three-color separation optical system C5A shown in FIG.
It has the same configuration as the three-color synthesis optical system C5A used in the reproduction system shown in the figure and other figures. The three-color separation optical system C8A shown in FIG.
are the dichroic prism DP and the total reflection surfaces Mr, M
b, and an optical path correction prism Pr. Among the light from the object that enters the dichroic prism DP during the imaging operation, the green light passes straight through the dichroic prism DP to form an optical image of the object using the green light on the recording medium RM. Also, among the light from the subject that has entered the dichroic prism DP, red light is reflected by the dichroic prism DP toward the optical path correction prism Pr, and then totally reflected by the total reflection surface Mr and transmitted through the optical path correction prism Pr. An optical image of the subject's red light is formed on the recording medium RM, and the blue light of the subject's light incident on the dichroic prism DP is transferred to the dichroic prism DP, which is a prism for optical path correction.
It is then totally reflected by the total reflection surface Mb, and transmitted through the optical path correction prism pb to form an optical image of the subject on the recording medium RM using blue light. Therefore, the recording medium RM has an imaging plane for an optical image formed by the subject's green light, and an imaging plane for an optical image formed by the subject's red light.
The imaging planes of the optical images of the subject using blue light are formed adjacent to each other with a guard band in between. Further, the three-color separation optical system C5A shown in FIG. 2 is composed of dichroic prisms DPI and DP2, total reflection surfaces Mr and Mb, and optical path correction prisms Pr and Pb, and performs imaging operation. Among the light from the subject that enters the dichroic prism DP, green light passes straight through the dichroic prisms DPL and DP2 and reaches the recording medium R.
An optical image of the subject using green light is formed on M. Also, among the light from the subject that has entered the dichroic prism DP, red light passes through the dichroic prism DPI and then enters the dichroic prism DP2, where the light path correction prism Pr
The light is then totally reflected by the total reflection surface Mr, passes through the optical path correcting prism Pr, forms an optical image of the subject using red light on the recording medium RM, and then enters the dichroic prism DPI. Among the light from the subject, the blue light is processed using a dichroic prism DPI and a prism pb for optical path correction.
Then, it is totally reflected by the total reflection surface Mb and transmitted through the optical path correcting prism pb to form an optical image of the object using blue light on the recording medium RM, as shown in FIG. In the three-color separation optical system C8A, as in the case of the three-color separation optical system C5A already described with reference to FIG. and the imaging plane of the optical image of the subject using red light. The imaging planes of the optical images of the subject using blue light are formed adjacent to each other with a guard band in between. As the recording medium RM used for recording information to be recorded in the recording/reproducing apparatus of the present invention, a reversible recording medium can be used in addition to an irreversible recording medium such as a silver halide film. As described above, firstly, with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8, among the recording media used for recording information in the recording/reproducing apparatus of the present invention, the reversible recording medium RM is An outline of the configuration and information recording operation will be explained. As a reversible recording medium RM [1] A recording medium that includes a charge retention layer member that records in the form of a charge image a bluff corresponding to an optical image of a subject obtained by photoelectrically converting an optical image of the subject. , and [2] Light modulation in which information corresponding to the optical image of the object is recorded as a form of change in the optical characteristics of the light modulating material using an electric field due to a charge image of the object obtained by photoelectrically converting the optical image of the object. A recording medium or the like configured to include a material layer member will be described as a representative example. In FIGS. 6 to 8, RM is a butterfly body, and the recording medium RM includes a component in which at least electrodes and recording layer members are laminated. In each figure, the constituent parts indicated by drawing symbols such as E, Ew, E tt Eta, and Et2 indicate electrodes, and the constituent parts indicated by drawing symbols such as CHL, PML, etc. in each figure indicate the electrodes. This is a recording layer member. In the recording medium RM configured according to the configuration of [1] above, the recording layer member described above has a function that allows a charge image corresponding to the information to be recorded to be retained for a long period of time. A charge retention layer member CHL is used, and
In the recording medium RM constructed according to the above-mentioned two configurations as the recording layer member, light whose optical properties such as the state of light scattering, the state of birefringence, and the state of optical rotation change upon application of a lit pressure. A light modulating material layer member PML configured using a modulating material is used. The charge retention layer member CHL used as the recording layer member in the recording medium RM is, for example, a charge retention layer member made of a material film exhibiting a high electrical resistance value, or a material film containing a material film exhibiting a high electrical resistance value, for example. A charge retention layer member configured by dispersing particles for charge retention in a charge retention layer member, and other configurations can be used, and as a light modulation material layer member PML used as a recording layer member in the recording medium RM, (a) Materials whose optical properties change depending on an applied electric field and whose optical properties change only when an electric field is applied (for example, lithium niobate, liquid crystals, polymers, etc.) A layered structure consisting of a liquid crystal composite film (PLZT) and a material film exhibiting a high electrical resistance value is used; (b) the intensity distribution of the applied electric field is memorized as a form of change in optical properties; When light with a certain intensity distribution is given, materials that can generate light with an intensity distribution according to the memory contents described above (for example, polymer-liquid crystal composite films, liquid crystals, scattering type PLZT
) etc. can be used. In the above-mentioned light modulating material exemplified as a light modulating material layer member that can be used as a recording layer member in the recording medium RM,
Liquid crystals, PLZT, polymer-liquid crystal composite films, etc. are described in both (a) and (b) above, but they can be obtained with different optical properties depending on the composition and structure. It is shown that. The above points will be described below, taking as an example a case in which the light modulating material layer member used as the recording layer member includes a polymer-liquid crystal composite film. The polymer-liquid crystal composite film in the light modulating material layer member used as the recording layer member is made of, for example, methacrylic resin, polyester resin, polycarbonate resin, vinyl chloride resin, polyamide resin, polyethylene resin, polypropylene resin, polystyrene resin, silicone. Countless minute pores 1, for example, with a diameter of about 0.5 microns or less, are formed randomly distributed in a porous polymeric material membrane with a volume resistivity of 1014 Ω1 or more, such as resin. It can be constructed by filling the pores with nematic liquid crystal or smectic liquid crystal (hereinafter sometimes simply referred to as liquid crystal) that exhibits a liquid crystal phase at room temperature and has a high volume resistivity. When the diameters of countless minute pores randomly distributed in a porous polymer material film that encloses a liquid crystal are large, the polymer-liquid crystal can be separated by applying an electric field of a charge image. The image of the change in the alignment state of the liquid crystal that occurs in the composite film remains as it is as long as the charge image described above exists, but when the charge image is removed, it is imparted to the polymer-liquid crystal composite film. As the electric field disappears, the liquid crystal in the polymer-liquid crystal composite film becomes an isotropic phase and erase is performed, as mentioned above (a).
In addition, when the diameter of the countless minute pores randomly distributed in the porous polymer material film that encloses the liquid crystal is small, exhibits the properties described in (1) above. Therefore, the above-mentioned polymer-liquid crystal composite film has the above-mentioned (a)
In the case of a material exhibiting such properties, an insulating material such as MIg is laminated on a polymer-liquid crystal composite film as a recording layer member, so that the electric field due to the charge image held in the insulating layer is maintained for a long period of time. A light modulating material layer member PML that can be used as a recording layer member having memory properties is configured by both the insulating layer and the polymer-liquid crystal composite film. It is. Next, when the polymer-liquid crystal composite film used for the light modulating material layer member PML constituting the recording layer member exhibits the above-mentioned properties, the polymer-liquid crystal composite film that operates in the scattering mode is used. When an electric field with an intensity distribution corresponding to the charge distribution of the charge image is applied to the composite film, in the polymer-liquid crystal composite film, a change image of the orientation state of the liquid crystal corresponding to the electric field due to the charge image applied to it is generated. If the size of the pores dispersed in the polymer-liquid crystal composite film is small, even if the charge image is removed and the electric field applied to the polymer-liquid crystal composite film disappears, A memory function is generated in which an image of a change in the alignment state of the liquid crystal that occurs in correspondence with a charge image is retained in the liquid crystal sealed in the pores in the composite film. In other words, the liquid crystal used as one of the components of the polymer-LCD memory film is randomly distributed in the porous polymer material film used as the other component of the polymer-LCD memory film. However, by reducing the size of the pores in the polymer material in which the liquid crystal is confined, the polymer material When the wall force of the pores applied to the liquid crystal in the material is increased, an electric field is applied to the liquid crystal in the polymer-liquid crystal memory film, and the polymer-liquid crystal memory film becomes transparent. The alignment state generated in the liquid crystal continues to be maintained even after the above-mentioned applied electric field is removed. A supplementary explanation of the above memory function is as follows. The liquid crystal molecules sealed in the pores are in a state where they are subjected to the force of the surface of the pore wall (the liquid crystal molecules sealed in the pore are subjected to the force of the surface of the pore wall, The closer the liquid crystal molecules are to the pore wall, the greater the above force is applied to them. Therefore, the smaller the pore diameter, the greater the influence of the force on the surface of the pore wall that is applied to the liquid crystal molecules sealed in the pore. ), but when an electric field with an electric field strength of more than a certain threshold is applied to the liquid crystal sealed in the pore while being subjected to the surface force of the pore wall as described above, , the liquid crystal molecules enclosed in the pores are oriented in the direction of the electric field, resisting the force applied from the surface of the pore walls, while being subjected to a force from the surface of the pore walls. Displaced as follows. The mode of displacement that occurs in liquid crystal molecules in response to the application of an electric field changes depending on the strength of the applied electric field. Only the liquid crystal molecules for which the force is weak, that is, the liquid crystal molecules mainly located near the center of the pores, are displaced with a tendency to face the direction of the applied electric field, and the strength of the electric field applied to the liquid crystal gradually becomes stronger. As the force is applied from the surface of the pore wall, liquid crystal molecules located close to the pore wall also tend to have their molecular axes directed in the direction of the applied electric field. The liquid crystal molecules are oriented in a manner of displacement such that the liquid crystal molecules are displaced at . Therefore, when an electric field is applied, the liquid crystal molecules in the countless minute pores that are randomly distributed and formed in the porous polymer material of the polymer liquid crystal memory film are The molecular axes of the liquid crystal are oriented in the direction of the electric field against the force applied by the liquid crystal. The liquid crystal molecules are held in the same state by the surface force of the pore walls as described above, so the orientation state of the liquid crystal changed by the application of an electric field as described above will change when the applied electric field is removed. It shows the memory function because it remains in the same state even after the data is stored. In order to erase the storage state of information due to the alignment state of the liquid crystal, it is necessary to adjust the melting point of the polymer used as the light modulating material layer member PML and the liquid crystal in the liquid crystal memory film to the polymer material. It is necessary to raise the temperature to a temperature between the melting point and melt the liquid crystal for isotropic use. Over time, the liquid crystal cools down to a predetermined liquid crystal phase, and that part changes to an opaque state and is erased. ? The 1'1 erase operation can be performed by, for example, providing a heating layer on the recording medium RM, and supplying erasing power to the heating layer during the erasing operation. Erasing can also be achieved by applying a strong electric field. can. Figure 7 shows the optical image of the subject as a layer member. In FIGS. 7(a) and 7(b), what is shown with a plus sign surrounded by a circle is the charge of the charge image recorded on the charge retention layer member CHL in the recording medium IM. be. FIG. 6 shows a recording medium R having the configuration described in [1] above, including the recording medium having the configuration illustrated in FIG.
This shows an example of the configuration of a recording system used when recording subject information for M, and (b) in Figure 6 is similar to that illustrated in (a) and (b) in Figure 7. 6(a) shows a schematic configuration of a recording system in which an optical image of a subject is recorded as a corresponding charge image on a recording medium RM having the configuration shown in FIG. When the recording medium RM of the configuration aspect [1] described above is configured by laminating the electrode Et, the photoconductive layer member PCL, and the charge retention layer member CHL, when the recording medium RM has the structure shown in FIG. This figure shows an example of the configuration of a recording system used when recording information. First, in FIG. 6, WH is a write head and ES is a power source. During recording operation, the power source ES connects the electrode E of the write head WH and the electrode Et of the recording medium RM.
In order to apply a predetermined electric field required for recording operation between the electrodes E and Et, it is connected to the electrodes E and Et. Although the write head WH shown in FIG. 6 is illustrated as having a configuration that does not use a substrate, in practice, each component of the write head is laminated on a thin plate of glass, for example. things are used. When an electrode such as Er is provided in a portion where light should be transmitted, an electrode having spectral transmission characteristics capable of transmitting light is used. In addition, when a high-definition optical image is given to one end face of the photoconductive layer member PCL, a high-definition optical image is applied to the other end face under the application of an electric field of appropriate strength. A photoconductor material made of a material (eg, hydrogenated amorphous silicon) having properties such that it can generate a charge image is used. In FIG. 6(a), the electrode E in the recording medium RM

A voltage value is applied so that a charge image is formed by discharge from the electrode E of the head WH), and the light WL from the object is transferred to the recording medium RM by an imaging lens (not shown). When an image is formed on the photoconductive layer member PCL, the electrical resistance value of the photoconductive layer member PCL of the recording medium RM changes depending on the amount of light beam incident thereon and imaged, and the electric resistance value of the photoconductive layer member PCL of each part of the photoconductive layer member PCL changes depending on the amount of light incident thereon and imaged. The electrical resistance value is changed in accordance with the amount of light in each part of the subject. Due to the change in the electrical resistance value of each part of the photoconductive layer member PCL described above, on the surface of the charge retention layer member CHL, which is disposed opposite to the electrode E of the UF-containing I/D Wll with a predetermined gap, The discharge forms a charge image corresponding to an optical image of the subject. Also, in FIG. 6(b), the write head Vi' H
is constructed by laminating the electrode Et and the light guide ffi layer member PCL, and the power source ES is connected to the electrode 1 on the recording medium RM and the electrode Et on the write head V/II, and the A state in which a predetermined electric field is applied between pole h: and Et such that a charge image is formed by discharge from the electrode E of the write head W) on the charge retention layer member CHL of the recording medium RM. The above-mentioned light guide @
A charge image corresponding to the optical image of the object is formed by the discharge generated in the gap according to the change in the electrical resistance value of each part of the layer member PCL. Next, FIG. 8 shows how information corresponding to the optical image of the object is changed by the electric field generated by the charge image of the object obtained by photoelectrically converting the optical image of the object as a recording layer member. A recording system used when recording subject information on a recording medium configured to include a light modulating material layer member for recording as a form, that is, a recording medium RM having the configuration mode [2] described above. This shows an example of the configuration of
In (a) to (c) of Fig. 8, E and Et are electrodes, PM
L is a light modulating material layer member; WH is a writing head;
PCL is a photoconductive layer member, and ES is a power source. The recording medium RM used in the recording system illustrated in FIG. 8(a) has a structure in which the electrode Et, the photoconductive layer member PCL, the light modulating material layer member PML described below, and the electrode E are layered as vE. The recording medium RM used in the recording system illustrated in FIG. 8(b) has a configuration in which the electrode E and the light modulating material layer member PML described above are laminated. It belongs to. Furthermore, the recording medium RM used in the recording system illustrated in FIG. 8(C) has an electrode Et and a photoconductive layer member PC.
This is a configuration in which L and the light modulating material layer member PML described above are MJPJ. In FIG. 8(a), the electrode E in the recording medium RM
By connecting the power supply ES to t and E, both types of KAE and E are connected.

M), and when the light WL of the subject is imaged on the photoconductive layer member PCL of the recording medium RM by an imaging lens (not shown), the electric resistance value of the photoconductive layer member PCL of the recording medium RM becomes incident on it. The electrical resistance value of each part of the photoconductive layer member PCL changes in accordance with the light quantity of each part of the object. Due to the change in the electrical resistance value of each part of the photoconductive layer member PCL described above, a charge image corresponding to the optical image of the subject is formed on the light modulating material layer member PML side of the photoconductive layer member PCL, and the charge image is Electric field is light modulating material layer member PML
is applied, and the optical characteristics of the light modulating material of the light modulating material layer member PML change corresponding to the electric field strength described above. The configuration of the light modulating material layer member PML in the recording medium RM is
Regardless of the case of (a) or (b) described above, the light modulating material layer member PML contains information corresponding to the optical image of the subject on the optical characteristics of the light modulating material. It is stored in the form of change S. In addition, in (b) of FIG. 8, t in the recording medium RM
In this state, a power source ES is connected to the electrode Et in the 4M E dojo-komi head W II, and a predetermined electric field is applied between the picture electrodes E and Et (used as a recording layer member of the recording medium RM). For the light modulating material layer member PML, an electric field required for good recording of the information to be recorded is generated between the V pole and the electrode E. ), and when the light WL of the object is imaged on the photoconductive layer member PCL of the writing head WH by an imaging lens (not shown), the electric resistance value of the photoconductive layer member PCL of the writing head WH becomes incident on it. The electrical resistance value of each part of the photoconductive layer member PCL changes in accordance with the amount of light of each part of the object. On the surface of the light modulating material layer member PML in the recording medium RM, which is disposed opposite to the photoconductive layer member PCL in the writing head WH with a predetermined gap, each of the above-mentioned parts of the photoconductive layer member PCL described above is provided. A charge image corresponding to the optical image of the object is formed by a discharge generated in the gap in response to a change in the electrical resistance value, or an electric field is applied from the charge image generated on the surface of the photoconductive layer member PCL. Ru. Therefore, in the light modulating material layer member PML in the recording medium RM to which the electric field of the charge image corresponding to the optical image of the subject is applied, the optical characteristics of the light image modulating material of the light modulating material layer member PML are determined by the electric field strength described above. It changes accordingly. Even if the configuration of the light modulating material layer member PML in the recording medium RM is in the case (a) described above, or (b)
Even in this case, information corresponding to the optical image of the subject is stored in the light modulating material layer member PML in the form of a change in the optical characteristics of the light modulating material. Next, in FIG. 8(c), a power source ES is connected to the electrode Et on the 1g8 recording medium RM and the electrode E on the write head WH, and a predetermined electric field is applied between the picture electrodes E and Et. I'm here! (For the light modulating material layer member PML used as the recording layer member of the recording medium RM, the electric field required for good recording of information to be recorded is applied to the electrode Et and the electrode E. It is brought into a correspondingly changing state. Due to the change in the electric resistance value of each part in the photoconductive layer member PCL, a charge image corresponding to the optical image of the subject is formed on the light modulating material layer member PML (l!!I) in the photoconductive layer member PCL, The electric field of the charge image is applied to the light modulating material layer member PML, and the optical characteristics of the light modulating material of the light modulating material layer member PML change corresponding to the electric field strength. Light modulation in the recording medium RM. The structure of the material layer member PML is
Regardless of the case of (a) or (b) described above, the light modulating material layer member PML contains information corresponding to the optical image of the subject on the optical properties of the light modulating material. It is stored in the form of a variation (form of a variation of optical properties). Next, as explained above with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8, the recorded information recorded on the recording medium RM by the recording system for the recording medium RM is read out from the recording medium RM as optical information. Explain the means. FIG. 9 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of an optical reading means when the recording layer member in the recording medium RM is a charge retention layer member CHL. In FIG. 9, RH has a structure in which an electrode Er transparent to reproduction light (readout light) and a light modulating material layer member PML are laminated, and LS is a reproduction light source (light source of readout light). ), the recording medium RM in FIG. 9 includes an electrode Er transparent to readout light and a charge retention layer member CHL.
The readout light @
The reading light emitted from the LS is irradiated onto the recording medium RM. (Note that the readout light emitted from the readout light source LS is irradiated onto the recording medium RM via a lens as necessary). The reading light irradiated onto the recording medium RM enters the reading head RH after passing through the recording medium RM.
The light passes through the light modulating material layer member PML and the electrode Er at H and exits from the reading head RH. By the way, in the reading head RH described above, the surface of the light modulating material layer member PML is disposed facing the surface of the charge retention layer member Cl- (L in the recording medium RM), and An electric field due to the charge image recorded on the holding layer member CHL is applied to the light modulating material layer member PML of the reading head RH.Therefore, the light modulating material layer member PML of the reading head RH is
Since the optical characteristics of the light modulating material change in response to the electric field caused by the charge image recorded on the charge retention layer member CHL of the recording medium RM, the light modulating material layer member PML of the reading head RH changes. The state of the transmitted readout light changes in response to changes in the optical characteristics of the light modulating material. That is, the light modulating material constituting the light modulating material layer member PML of the reading head RH has a property of changing the state of light scattering depending on the electric field intensity applied thereto. If there is, the read light transmitted through the read head RM as described above is emitted from the recording medium RM as light whose intensity is modulated according to the charge image recorded on the charge retention layer member CIIL of the recording medium RM. I will do it. Further, the light modulating material layer member PM of the reading head RH described above
If the light modulating material that makes up L has the property of changing the state of birefringence or optical rotation depending on the electric field intensity applied to it, linearly polarized light can be recorded as the readout light. When incident on the medium RM, the read head RM
The reading light transmitted through the recording medium RM is emitted from the recording medium RM as light whose polarization plane is changed in inclination according to the charge image recorded on the charge retention layer member CHL of the recording medium RM. Therefore, by transmitting the light emitted from the recording medium RM through the polarizer, the light whose intensity is modulated according to the charge image recorded on the charge retention layer member CHL of the recording medium RM is transmitted from the polarizer. It can be emitted. Further, the recording layer member of the recording medium RM is a light modulating material layer member PM.
When the reading head R used in the optical information reading means shown in FIG.
H is not necessary. As information is recorded and read using the reversible recording medium RM described with reference to FIGS. 6 to 8,
When the recording and reproducing apparatuses shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 are configured, the recording and reproducing apparatuses shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 also have the configuration shown in FIGS. Of course, means for applying a predetermined electric field as shown in FIG. 8 is applied. A recorded image corresponding to the optical image of the subject O recorded in a juxtaposed state on the recording medium RM by the recording system shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in the recording/reproducing apparatus is The three primary colors obtained by separating the image into three colors using a three-color separation optical system (for example, the three primary colors R, G, and B of additive color mixture)
) for each primary color, (a) and (b) in Figure 1 and (a) in Figure 2. R shown in the recording medium RM in each figure such as (b),
G and B are recording areas of recorded images for each of the three primary colors described above. In the recording system of the recording and reproducing device, the optical image of the subject ○ is separated into three colors by the three-color separation optical system, and the three optical images obtained by the three-color separation optical system and the corresponding recorded images for each of the three primary colors are recorded in a state where they are parallel to each other. The recorded recording medium is reproduced by the reproducing thread 5 shown in FIG. 3 or 4, respectively, or by the reproducing system in the recording and reproducing apparatus shown in FIG. , No. 1 is generated. That is, first, in the reproducing system shown in FIG. 3, LS is a light source of read light;
The readout light emitted from the recording medium RM, that is, the information to be recorded using the recording system having the configuration as illustrated in FIG. 1 or FIG. The recorded recording medium RM is irradiated with recorded images arranged side by side. When the recorded recording medium RM described above is, for example, a silver halide film, or when a scattering type liquid crystal is used as a recording layer member, the reading light is The readout light from the light source LS is transmitted through the recorded recording medium RM and focused by the lens Lp, and is sent to three line image sensors S r, I S g, and I S r whose main scanning direction is the vertical direction. The above-mentioned three line image sensors ISr and I
Sg and ISr in a direction perpendicular to their main scanning direction (
3) (in this case, the recorded recording medium RM is fixed), or
Line image sensors I S r, I S g. It is sufficient to keep ISr in a fixed state and sub-scan the recorded recording medium RM in a direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction of the line image sensor (direction of arrow X in FIG. 3). The recorded recording medium R, including the case where the RM records recorded information in the form of a charge image.
When reading recorded information from M, if the configuration requires the use of the read head RH as already described with reference to FIG. Needless to say, the structure should be such that reproduction can be carried out using the same system, and this point also applies to the reproduction system described later with reference to FIG. The above-mentioned line image sensor ISr provides the amplifier 3 with a red signal obtained by photoelectrically converting the light transmitted through the recording area of the primary color signal R in the recorded recording medium RM, and the line image sensor ISg provides a red signal to the amplifier 3. The green signal (No. 6) obtained by photoelectrically converting the light transmitted through the recording area of the primary color signal G is applied to the amplifier 2, and the line image sensor ISb outputs the primary color (*
';'r The blue light obtained by photoelectrically converting the light transmitted through the B recording area is supplied to the amplifier 1. Each of the primary color signals mentioned above is emitted as a simultaneous signal,
Each primary color signal is amplified by each amplifier 1 to 3, and then subjected to signal processing such as gamma correction, matrix, clip, and setup in a process processing circuit 1, and then to an output device 1 such as a monitor receiver, printer, frame memory, etc. etc. given. Next, also in the reproduction system shown in FIG. 4, the readout light emitted from the readout light source LS is as follows. A state in which recorded images of each of the three primary colors are juxtaposed for information to be recorded using a recorded recording medium RM, that is, a recording system having a configuration as illustrated in FIG. 1 or FIG. 2. The recorded recording medium RM is irradiated as a recording medium. As already described with reference to FIG. 3, the recorded recording medium RM
No matter what the configuration is. By configuring the reproduction system so that the readout light whose intensity is modulated in accordance with the recorded information is emitted from the recorded recording medium RM, the information to be recorded is divided into three primary colors. The readout light whose intensity is modulated by the recorded information is emitted from the recorded recording medium RM in which the recorded images of 3 are juxtaposed.
The light enters the color synthesis optical system C8A. The three-color synthesis optical system C8A used in the reproduction system shown in FIG. 4 has the same configuration as the three-color separation optical system C8A used in the recording system shown in FIG. The color image information is incident on the lens Lp from the three-color synthesis optical system C5A. The lens Lp described above receives the color image information described above from the CCD.
An image is formed on the color sensor C8. The CCD color sensor C8 described above is equipped with line image sensors for each of the three primary colors and can output three primary color signals as simultaneous signals. Either the CCD color image sensor C8 or the recorded recording medium RM described above is sub-scanned in a direction perpendicular to the main scanning direction of the CCD color sensor C8. The above-mentioned CCD color image sensor C8 supplies the amplifier 3 with a red signal obtained by photoelectrically converting the light that has passed through the recording area of the primary color signal R on the recorded recording medium RM, and also performs the recording of the primary color signal G on the recorded recording medium RM. A green signal obtained by photoelectrically converting the light transmitted through the region is given to the amplifier 2, and a green signal obtained by photoelectrically converting the light transmitted through the recording region of the primary color signal B in the recorded recording medium RM is given to the amplifier 1. The primary color signals R, G, and B described above are transmitted to each amplifier 1 to
3 and then supplied to the processing circuit as a simultaneous signal. Since the line image sensors for each primary color in the CCD color image sensor C8 are provided at predetermined intervals in the sub-scanning direction, a time delay corresponding to the interval occurs between the primary color signals. Therefore, using the most delayed primary color signal among the three primary color signals output from the CCD color image sensor C8 as a reference, a predetermined time delay is given to each of the other two primary color signals, and the CCD color image is Three primary color signals output from sensor C8 are made into simultaneous signals. In FIG. 4, the primary color signal B and the primary color signal G are supplied to the process processing circuit 6 via predetermined delay circuits DL, so that the three primary color signals R, G, and B are simultaneously transmitted to the process processing circuit 6. We are trying to make sure that it is supplied to the world. The process processing circuit 6 performs signal processing such as gamma correction, matrix, clip, and setup, and provides an output signal to an output device such as a monitor receiver, printer, frame memory, etc. Furthermore, in Figures 3 and 4, 7 is a signal processing circuit (the same applies to Figure 5).
. FIG. 5 is a block diagram illustrating an example of the configuration of a recording/reproducing apparatus configured such that constituent members that can be used in both the recording system and the reproducing system in the recording/reproducing apparatus can be used in common. 11 is an outer casing of the recording/reproducing device. 10 is a readout light source provided in the reproduction system, C8 is CO
D color image sensor, 7 is a signal processing circuit, and 8 is an output device. In the recording and reproducing apparatus shown in FIG. 5, the constituent members that are used both in the recording system and the reproducing system are a mounting mechanism for the recording medium RM, a three-color separation optical system (three-color synthesis optical system) C8A, and a lens L. p (TL), the above-mentioned component 9 constitutes the component 9 that functions as a recording system, and the component 9 that functions as the recording system is During the information recording operation, the camera is taken out as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG. Ru. Note that when the above-described component 9 is incorporated into the reproduction system 3 and used, the recording medium RM in the component 9 is irradiated with the readout light emitted from the readout light source 10, Also, the lens L p (T L)
The optical information read out from the recording medium RM is imaged on the CCD color image sensor C8 by changing the position of the recording medium RM. Simultaneously, the three primary colors output from the CCD color image sensor C8 (No. 8 is subjected to predetermined signal processing in the processing circuit in the same way as the operation of the reproduction system as already described with reference to FIG. 4). It is then supplied to the output device 8. The fifth component is used for both the recording system and the playback system.
The present invention is not limited to the constituent parts illustrated in the figures, and may be composed of, for example, the imaging lens TL, the optical shutter PS, the three-color separation optical system, etc. in FIGS. 1 and 2. [Effects of the Invention] As is clear from the above detailed explanation, the recording and reproducing apparatus of the present invention can record optical information of three
A color separation optical system separates the three colors and records them in individual recording areas on the recording medium, and simultaneously illuminates the individual recording areas of the recorded recording medium where the three-color separated information is recorded. irradiation to simultaneously generate a plurality of individual reproduction lights modulated by respective recording information from each recording area, and simultaneously generate electric signals individually corresponding to the plurality of individual reproduction lights. Alternatively, readout light can be simultaneously irradiated onto individual recording areas on a recorded recording medium where information separated into three colors is recorded, so that each recording area is modulated by the respective recording information. Since multiple individual reproduction lights generated simultaneously under the same conditions are combined by a three-color synthesis optical system and multiple color signals are simultaneously generated by a CCD color sensor, the recording/reproduction method has a simple configuration. The device can easily perform signal processing for sequential and simultaneous format conversion, and by combining the recording and reproducing system configurations, recording and reproducing equipment can be provided at low cost. make things easier.
