ータ。 By selectively grounding contact points set at multiple angles via multiple control lines and changeover switches, a control command for operating mode selection is given to the motor drive circuit, and the headlight is activated by rotating the motor. In an automotive headlight actuator that rotates back and forth around a fulcrum, the abnormality detection method monitors the potential of the control lines relative to the ground, and uses logical judgment based on the combination to detect whether the number of lines at ground potential is one. An in-vehicle headlight actuator comprising: a circuit; and a switching circuit that is provided between the contact portion and the motor drive circuit and is turned on and off by the output of the abnormality detection circuit.
