Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a tape cassette which is easy to see the state of a tape, and in addition, does not require a hole for passing light, and is difficult for dust or dirt to enter by forming a front lid of transparent material. CONSTITUTION:A main body is constituted of an upper half and a lower half, and the tape wound around a pair of reels is stored in it. The front lid 4 to cover always a front part behind which the tape 3 travels is rotated around a fulcrum 5, and is formed of the transparent material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a tape cassette for recording and reproducing video, audio or digital information signals.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In recent years, tape cassettes for recording and reproducing video signals, audio signals, etc. have been widely used in various fields, and the recording density on tapes has become increasingly sophisticated.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a tape cassette in which the state of the tape is easy to see and dust does not easily enter the tape cassette.
