Abstract

■ 砂糖とAPMとでは粒子径が大きく異なること、お
よび砂糖とAPMとをバインダーで結着しないこと、に
よりたとえ混合中には均一に混ざっていても、混合終了
時には粒度偏析を生じ、APMが均一に付着することは
ない。
■ 帯電性の強いAPMと砂糖とは、静電気力で付着し
ているだけでありバインダーで結着されていないので、
たとえ混合終了時にAPMが均一に付着したとしても、
製品として包装されるまでの工程および消費者の手に渡
る迄の流通段階における振動などによりAPMが砂糖か
ら剥離し、更にそれが包装材料に付着するため、製品が
所期の甘味度を有さす、取扱いに支障をきたす。
■ 一方、造粒品においてはかかる問題を生じないもの
の、工程、設備が煩雑で、コストがかさむ。
従って、本発明は造粒品におけるコスト等の上昇を回避
しつつ、APMが賦形剤中に濃度分布のムラを生じるこ
となく均一に分散されており、分散・溶解性、流動性の
良好な卓上用低カロリー甘味料を得ることを目的とする

より賦形剤とAPMを結着させ或は造粒し、混合終了時
のAPMの偏析を防止する。そして該結着物を乾燥する
ことにより賦形剤とAPMとが強固に結合した結着物と
する。
尚、ここで結着物とする方法は、前記以外の方法、例え
ば、押出し造粒、流動造粒等の方法、その他要するにA
PMと賦形剤とが結着している状態を保てるあらゆる方
法でよい。ここに使用する賦形剤はグラニユー糖、ざら
め糖、くるま糖、ラクチトール、マルチトールなどであ
るが、流動性の観点からグラニユー糖、ラクチトールが
望ましい。
更に、通常の造粒は微粉末原料から粒子径を大きくする
ために造粒時間が長くコスト高につながるため、本発明
では賦形剤としては粒子径の大きな結晶、例えばグラニ
ユー糖やラクチトールを芯物質とし、そのまわりにAP
Mそして必要に応じて更に賦形剤粉砕品(粉糖でもよい
)を結着させることにより造粒時間を短縮し、その結果
造粒コストを低減させることが望ましい。
本発明の目的のためには、粒子径については、賦形剤が
100μm乃至3[1IIn、賦形剤粉砕品(或は粉$

であり、配合割合については賦形剤が99.9乃至80
重量部、APMが0.1乃至20重量部の範囲が適切で
ある。尚、上記結着物の物性などを著しく損なわない限
り、可食性の第3成分の添加も可能である。水またはバ
インダー水溶液は0.1乃至10重量部の範囲が適当で
あり、この範囲より少ないと結着性が悪く、逆に多いと
造粒が進み過ぎ大きな塊ができてしまう。
混合機としては、賦形剤とAPMとを均一混合できるこ
とが必須条件で、混合造粒機、流動層造粒機、転勤造粒
機などが挙げられる。
次に、上記の如く調製した賦形剤とAPMとの結着物に
新たに賦形剤を任意の割合で混合することにより、甘味
度(砂tJ!Igの甘味の強さを1とする)を任意に調
製することができる。この時用いる賦形剤は結着物に用
いた物と同種であっても異種であっても良い。本発明に
おけるAPMと賦形剤の結着物は、該結着物と混合する
賦形剤との比重差、粒径差が小さいため、混合操作にお
いて比重や粒径に起因する偏析を生じない点が大きな特
長である。従って、使用する混合機としては、■型混合
機、ナウターミキサ−など−船釣な混合機の使用が可能
