ケーシング1の下面に、これと同じ材質で作られ
たサクシヨンカバー3を重合してその中央にポン
プ吸込口4を開設し、上記ポンプケーシング1お
よびサクシヨンカバー3の外周面と嵌合する環状
ストレーナー6の下底面を構成する底板7の周辺
部要所に、上方へ打ち上げられて上記サクシヨン
カバー3の下面周辺部へ当接する段部8を有せし
めると共に、その余部がサクシヨンカバー3の下
面から離隔して一定の間隔Sを保有するよう形成
し、ポンプケーシング1およびサクシヨンカバー
3の外周面要所に、環状ストレーナー6の周壁内
周面から離隔する陥所9を凹設し、環状ストレー
ナー6の周壁には上記陥所9と導通する多数の透
孔10を配設し、該透孔10と導通する陥所9か
らサクシヨンカバー3の下面を経てポンプ吸込口
4に至る吸込路12を形成せしめたことを特徴と
