[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a method for producing a composite that has excellent dyeability, good color tone, and excellent antistatic properties. The present invention is particularly useful for surface modification of various plastic molded products and inorganic molded products. [Prior Art] Plastics are used in various fields, taking advantage of their characteristics such as light weight, easy processing, impact resistance, and excellent dyeability. However, on the other hand, the surface height is low, resulting in a deterioration in appearance due to scratches during use, and even a decrease in transparency, which severely limits the range of use, which is a fatal drawback for eyeglass lenses and the like. On the other hand, although inorganic glasses and ceramics have high surface hardness, desired colored products cannot be easily obtained. Furthermore, it has drawbacks such as high reflectance. Conventional techniques for improving the above-mentioned problems such as surface hardness and dyeability include a method of coating the surface of plastic or inorganic glass with a polyfunctional acrylic polymer or an organic polysiloxane polymer (for example, as described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 50-82173, JP-A-112698, JP-A-Sho 57
-2490, Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-42665, Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-30677). In addition, as a conventional technique aimed at improving the above-mentioned problems regarding antireflection properties, a method has been used in which a film is formed on a substrate using a material having a refractive index different from that of the substrate by vacuum evaporation or the like. In this case, many combinations have already been proposed regarding the thickness and refractive index of the coating layer in order to achieve a high antireflection effect (Optical Technology Contact Vol. 9, No. 8, 17-23
(1971)). Furthermore, a thin multilayer film coating of a liquid composition has been proposed in JP-A-58-46301. [Problems to be solved by the invention] JP-A-50-82173, JP-A-52-112698, JP-A-Sho
57-2490, Japanese Patent Publication No. 57-42665, Japanese Patent Publication No. 53-30677, etc., composites obtained by the techniques have high surface hardness and some have dyeability, but they are not practical. From the point of view, a product with further improved dyeability is desired. In addition, cracks occur in antireflection films formed by a vapor deposition method, which is commonly used for the purpose of increasing antireflection effects, when heated. Furthermore, the technique disclosed in JP-A-58-46301 is a method for improving problems such as the loss of dyeability, which is an advantage of plastics, and is intended to improve the problems of the vapor deposition method. Improvements in properties and yellowing are desired in order to improve practicality. The present invention addresses problems such as dyeability and appearance in composites having a cured film mainly composed of organic polysiloxane as the outermost layer, which is a conventional surface modification technology for plastics, inorganic glasses, and even ceramics. This is to improve the following points. [Means for solving the problem] The present invention is characterized in that an article having a cured film mainly composed of organic polysiloxane as the outermost layer is immersed in water containing a surfactant at a temperature of 30 to 100°C. The present invention relates to a method for producing a composite material. In the present invention, the cured film mainly composed of organic polysiloxane that forms the outermost layer has the general formula R 1 a R 2 b Si(OR 3 ) 4-(a+b) (where R 1 , R 2 is a hydrocarbon group each having an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an aryl group, or a halogen group, an epoxy group, an amino group, a mercapto group, a methacryloxy group or a cyano group, each having a carbon number of 10 or less. R 3 is a carbon number 1 to 8 alkyl groups,
an aryl group, an alkoxyalkyl group or an acyl group, a and b are 0, 1 or 2,
and a+b is 1 or 2. ) It is a cured film obtained by curing a silicon compound or its hydrolyzate. Examples include alkoxysilanes or diacyloxysilanes such as -glycidoxypropylphenyldiethoxysilane, or their hydrolysates. It is also possible to add one or more types of these and organosilicon compounds. Particularly for the purpose of imparting dyeability, it is preferable to use an organosilicon compound containing an epoxy group. Furthermore, for the purpose of improving weather resistance, chemical resistance, and antireflection properties, it is preferable to use organosilicon compounds containing methyl groups, vinyl groups, and γ-chloropropyl groups. Although these organosilicon compounds are applied as a cured organopolysiloxane film, it is preferable to use them as a hydrolyzed film in order to lower the curing temperature and further progress the curing. Hydrolysis is produced by adding pure water or an acidic aqueous solution such as hydrochloric acid, acetic acid, or sulfuric acid and stirring. Furthermore, the degree of hydrolysis can be easily controlled by adjusting the amount of pure water or acidic aqueous solution added. During hydrolysis, at least the same mole as the alkoxy group,
Addition of pure water or acidic aqueous solution in an amount of 3 times the mole or less is preferable from the viewpoint of accelerating curing. During hydrolysis, alcohol and other substances are produced, so it is possible to hydrolyze without a solvent, but in order to make the hydrolysis more uniform, it is preferable to mix the organosilicon compound and a solvent before hydrolysis. is also possible. Depending on the purpose, it is also possible to remove an appropriate amount of the hydrolyzed alcohol etc. under heating and/or reduced pressure before use, and it is also possible to add an appropriate solvent afterwards.
Examples of these solvents include alcohols, esters, ethers, ketones, halogenated hydrocarbons, and aromatic hydrocarbons such as toluene and xylene. Moreover, these solvents can also be used as a mixed solvent of two or more types as required. Furthermore, depending on the purpose, it is possible to accelerate the hydrolysis reaction and further advance reactions such as precondensation by heating above room temperature, or to suppress precondensation, the hydrolysis temperature can be lowered to below room temperature. Needless to say, it is possible to do so. Furthermore, various curing methods known in the art for forming the organic polysiloxane cured film of the present invention include heating curing with hot air, infrared lamps, etc., and curing by irradiation with ultraviolet rays, electron beams, etc. Applicable. When forming the organopolysiloxane cured film of the present invention, there is no problem in applying the present invention even if various known curing agents are used to accelerate curing and to perform low-temperature curing. As the curing agent, various epoxy resin curing agents or various organosilicon resin curing agents are used. The thickness of the organic polysiloxane cured film of the present invention is not particularly limited, but is preferably 0.01 to 10 microns in order to more significantly exhibit the effects of the present invention. That is, if it becomes thinner than this, there is almost no point in covering it with an organic polysiloxane cured film. Moreover, if the thickness is thicker than this, it will take a long time for the effect of the present invention to be exhibited, causing a serious problem in production. The cured film forming the outermost layer of the composite preferably contains 10% by weight or more of organic polysiloxane, and more preferably 20% by weight or more to make the effect more pronounced. Further, materials that can be used in combination with the organosilicon compound and its hydrolyzate are not particularly limited, and various organic materials and inorganic materials can be used. In particular, colloidally dispersed silica sol is preferably used from the viewpoint of surface hardness and dyeability. In addition, from the viewpoint of antistatic properties and antifogging properties, polyvinyl alcohol, hydroxyalkyl cellulose, etc. are preferably used materials. Further, silicon compounds represented by the following general formula and their hydrolysates are preferably used from the viewpoint of improving surface hardness, antistatic properties, etc., although they cannot be used alone due to problems such as crack generation. Si( OR4 ) 4 (here, R4 is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms,
aryl, acyl and alkoxyalkyl groups). Specific representative examples of these silicon compounds include methyl silicate, ethyl silicate, n-
Propyl silicate, i-propyl silicate,
n-butyl silicate, sec-butyl silicate,
Examples include silanes such as t-butylsilicate and tetraacetoshisilane, and hydrolysates thereof. The organic polysiloxane cured film in the present invention must be formed as the outermost layer of the composite; otherwise, sufficient effects are not expected. In addition, the substrate materials to which the organic polysiloxane cured film is applied include plastics, inorganic glass,
Any material may be used as long as the object of the present invention can be achieved, such as ceramic, metal, or wood. Furthermore, materials obtained by subjecting these substrate materials to various coating treatments are also used. Preferred coating treatments include improving adhesion with various primers, and improving antireflection by forming a high refractive film using inorganic oxides obtained from organic titanates and organic zirconates, as well as silica sol. In the present invention, the thus obtained article having the organic polysiloxane cured film as the outermost layer is immersed in water containing a surfactant at a temperature of 30 to 100°C. Here, the immersion treatment includes not only immersion in water in a stationary state but also immersion in water under conditions such as ultrasonic vibration and forced stirring. The temperature of the immersion water should be 30 to 100°C, preferably 50 to 100°C in order to shorten the treatment time and maximize the treatment effect. Expected effects cannot be obtained at temperatures lower than 30°C, and heating above 100°C requires special equipment such as an autoclave, which is not useful at all from a production standpoint. The surfactant in the present invention includes anionic surfactants, cationic surfactants, non-ionic surfactants, and amphoteric surfactants. Specific examples of anionic surfactants include fatty acid alkali metals, alkyl sulfate alkali metal salts, alkyl ether phenate alkali metal salts,
Alkyl sulfate triethanolamine salt,
Alkyl benzene sulfonic acid alkali metal salt, alkylmethyl tauric acid alkali metal salt, dialkyl sulfone succinic acid alkali metal salt, alkyl sarcosinate alkali metal salt, alkylaryl polyether sulfonic acid alkali metal salt, alkyl phosphate ester alkali metal salt, alkylnaphthalene Examples include alkali metal sulfonic acid salts, formalin condensates of naphtaphthyl sulfonic acid metal salts, and various fluorine-based anionic surfactants. Specific examples of cationic surfactants include distearyldimethylammonium halide, alkylbenzyldimethylammonium halide,
Examples include stearyltrimethylammonium halide, cetyltrimethylammonium halide, benzalkonium halide, lauryltrimethylammonium halide, laurylamine acetate, stearylamine acetate, dialkyl diammonium p-toluenesulfonate, and fluorine-based cationic surfactants. In addition, nonionic surfactants include polyoxyethylene alkyl ethers, polyoxyethylene walkylphenoleethers, polyoxyethylene fatty acid esters, sorbitan fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid esters, and polyoxyethylene alkyl amines. Glycerin fatty acid esters, oxyethylene oxypropylene block copolymers, fatty acid alkylolamides, alkylphenoxy polyethoxyethanols, perfluoroalkyl acrylate/polyoxyethylene acrylate copolymers, polyoxyethylene grafts of dimethylpolysiloxane Alternatively, block copolymers and the like can be mentioned. Examples of the zwitterionic surfactants include various alkyl betaine compounds and metal salts of various alkyl di(aminoethyl) amino acids. These surfactants are used dissolved or dispersed in water, and the amount added is determined depending on the purpose, but is preferably used in the range of 0.0001 weight percent to 30 weight percent. As a result, no significant effect can be obtained, and as a result, a large amount of the product adheres to the surface of the article after treatment, which not only requires a long time to clean, but also tends to cause problems such as deterioration of the appearance. Not only one type of these additives but also a combination of two or more types can be easily used. Further, if necessary, it can be used by adding it to water containing a hydrophilic solvent such as methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, acetone, or ethylene glycol. Furthermore, add appropriate amounts of acids, bases, etc.
It is also possible to use water whose pH has been adjusted. The immersion time in the immersion treatment of the present invention is not particularly limited, but immersion for 1 minute or more is preferred in order to bring out the effect more markedly. Further, by immersion, it is possible to treat not only the entire part of the article but also a part of the article to produce a composite body which can bring about a partial treatment effect. The manufacturing method according to the present invention is preferably applied to optical parts such as eyeglass lenses and sunglass lenses, ceramics such as vases and pots, and various protective covers such as windows and displays. Among the above-mentioned surfactants, anionic surfactants are expected to be particularly effective in improving dyeability and antistatic properties, and nonionic surfactants are expected to be particularly effective in improving color tone. Further, although some untreated lenses were observed to have a slightly yellowish coloration, there were no treated lenses, and the lenses had an extremely good appearance. The staining test and antistatic property were tested in the same manner as in Example 1. The results are shown in Table 1. It can be seen that both have dramatically improved antistatic properties and improved dyeability compared to untreated lenses. Table 1 also shows the results of untreated lenses as a comparative example. The stainability test was conducted with a staining time of 30 minutes. As for other performance, an abrasion test was conducted using steel wool #0000, and regardless of whether or not it was treated, both had high surface hardness that would not cause scratches.
