For example, in an open rack vaporizer for liquefied gas such as LNG, as shown in Figure 8, a large number of heat transfer tubes with fins are installed vertically in parallel between an upper header (tube) and a lower header (tube). A panel 1, which is a vaporizer, is formed.

However, with this manual cleaning method,
The operation of the vaporizer must be stopped for a long period of time (at least one week) for cleaning work, and since the work is done at heights, scaffolding is always required, and it is time-consuming to assemble and dismantle the scaffolding, and the use of scaffolding materials. There is also a risk that the surface of the panel 1 may be damaged due to collision.

Since the area is narrow, approximately 0.6 m in length, there is not enough work space, resulting in poor work efficiency and easy cleaning residue.
In addition, since cleaning is performed after the area has become sufficiently dirty, the heat exchange efficiency decreases until cleaning is performed, and the sewage film is also more likely to be disturbed by the dirt.

In an open rack type vaporizer, the liquefied gas is vaporized by sprinkling water from a trough placed above the panels, and the rails installed parallel to the panels are used as guides to connect the panels. The gist is that a self-propelled traveling trolley is provided with a vertical guide frame and a rotating brush that moves up and down along the frame toward the panel surface.

According to the present invention, the bristles of the brush rub the panel surface while rotating, and the brush moves up and down along the guide frame while washing the panel surface using running water from the trough. Further, as the traveling cart moves along the panel surface, the rotating brush that moves in the vertical direction also moves in the direction of the panel surface, cleaning the front surface of the panel without leaving any residue.

The chain belt 10 in between also rotates. This chain belt 1
0 movement, the elevating head 16 is also pushed up along the guide frame 5 via the connecting rod 20, and when the connecting rod 20's pivot point to the chain belt 10 exceeds the upper sprocket 8, the chain is moved upward. Following the belt 10, the head 16 descends.

The transmission is transmitted from the rotating shaft 25 to the worm gear 27 to the gear 28a, and the wheel 21 rotates. As a result, the cart 4 moves forward along the rail 3, and the rotary brush 18 moves on the surface of the panel 1 while drawing a trajectory as shown in FIG. 6 to thoroughly clean the entire surface. Further, since the guide frame 5 is a prismatic column and the elevating head 16 is also a prismatic cylinder, the head 16 will not rotate even if the rotating brush 18 receives a reaction force.

In this case, the guide frame also rises upward from the traveling carriage. Furthermore, if it has a means of determining the direction of travel, such as radio control or a method of following a target, it can be used even with a traveling bogie without rails.

As described above, the automatic cleaning device using a rotating brush for an open rack type vaporizer of the present invention has the following features:
As a cleaning device for open rack type vaporizers for liquefied gases such as LNG, it is installed between panels that have enough space for a person to fit in, but has a small working space, and can automatically clean the panel surface without human intervention. In this case, the cleaning action can also be carried out during operation without stopping the operation of the vaporizer. In addition, since it does not require human hands, it is safe and does not require scaffolding, etc. Furthermore, cleaning can be started at any time, so it can be cleaned frequently without leaving it for a long time, and it does not accumulate dirt and reduce heat exchange efficiency. There is no need to worry about the situation or the situation where the sewage film becomes easily disturbed.
