【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 1 誘電性の容器内に、単極の放電電極が配置さ
れると共に、放電によつて紫外線を放射させるた
めの水銀蒸気と、放電によつて近赤外線を放射さ
せるための不活性ガスが封入され、更に不純ガス
を吸収するゲツター材が設けられて成る放電管。 2 チタンと水銀の金属間化合物を含む水銀放出
合金と、ジルコニウム又はチタンの内の一種とア
ルミニウム又はニツケルの内の一種とから成る金
属間化合物を含む合金ゲツターとを金属基体に被
着して成る水銀ゲツター材を含み、前記水銀蒸気
は水銀放出合金の熱分解によつて生成された請求
項1記載の放電管。 3 前記不活性ガスはネオンガスである請求項1
又は2記載の放電管。 4 前記放電電極はフオロー陰極を構成可能にさ
れて成る請求項1乃至3の何れか1項記載の放電
管。 5 請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の放電管
を装着してその容器を外部に露出したケーシング
に、高周波電圧発生回路を含め、これによつて発
生される高周波電圧を前記放電管における単極の
放電電極に印加し、容器外方の被放射体と放電電
極との間の電界によつて容器内にコロナ放電又は
グロー放電を生起させて、紫外線及び近赤外線を
放射可能にした放電装置。
