積送信要求を受けてデイスク装置へ画情報を蓄積
させた場合に、回線制御部が受信した管理情報を
記憶する管理情報記憶部と、 管理情報記憶部の管理情報に基づいて送信宛先
端末へ蓄積画情報を送信する場合にその送信が不
送達に終つたときに、同事実を検出する不送達検
出手段と、 不送達検出手段による不送達事実の検出に基づ
いて、そのレポート情報を作成して画情報蓄積メ
モリへ書込む不送達レポート作成手段と、 前記の不送達事実の検出に基づいて、デイスク
装置に蓄積されている当該不送達に係る画情報を
画情報蓄積メモリへ複数ページ分読出すＲ／Ｗ制
御部と、 複数頁分の当該不送達に係る画情報が画情報蓄
積メモリへ読出された際にその複数頁分の画情報
を縮小し、不送達レポート情報を含んで１頁分に
割付け編集する画像縮小処理部 とを具備し、管理情報記憶部の管理情報に基づい
て当該送信要求端末へ画情報蓄積メモリの１頁分
の画情報を不送達通知として送信することを特徴
