(Prior art) Disposable diapers, which have been widely used in recent years, contain absorbent materials such as cotton valves, absorbent paper, and superabsorbent polymers inside a nonwoven surface material, and the outside is made of a polyethylene film. The structure is usually covered with waterproof material.

Such paper diapers may be worn for up to 15 hours, and various measures have been taken to improve their water absorption and waterproof functions during that time. However, immediately after urinating, only a weak odor is felt due to ammonia in the urine, but as time passes, urea-degrading bacteria quickly decompose the urea contained in the urine and generate ammonia. Unavoidable sensations of pleasure and the risk of diaper rash would occur.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention solves the above-mentioned conventional problems and not only prevents the odor immediately after urination, but also suppresses the decomposition of urea after time has elapsed, thereby reducing discomfort. This was completed in order to provide a paper diaper with antibacterial and deodorizing functions that can effectively prevent diaper rash.

When the silver-containing glass powder containing phosphoric acid as the main component used in the present invention comes into contact with water such as urine, it can gradually elute phosphate ions and silver ions from the glass composition, and the odor immediately after urination is eliminated. This can be prevented by neutralizing ammonia with weakly acidic phosphoric acid glass.

Furthermore, after a period of time has elapsed, the amount of silver ions eluted increases and its antibacterial action sterilizes urea-degrading bacteria, thereby suppressing the generation of ammonia and eliminating the risk of discomfort and diaper rash.

When the above-mentioned glass powder is kneaded into the superabsorbent polymer of the absorbent material, the particle size of the glass powder containing 1.0% by weight of AgJ is 50 μm or less, and the particle size is 0.1 to 0.1 per diaper. It is preferable to use it at a rate of about 5 g. In addition, when glass powder is mixed with cotton pulp or super absorbent polymer of the absorbent material, 1.0% by weight of AgzO is added.
It is preferable that the glass powder contained has a particle size of 50 to 1000 μm and is used at a rate of about 0.1 to 5 g per glass. When using glass powder with a large particle size, it is desirable to use spherical powder for safety reasons.Furthermore, when glass powder is bonded to the inner surface of absorbent paper, which is part of the absorbent material, AgzO at 0.5-1.
Using a urethane-based adhesive, the glass powder containing 0.0 weight percent is made into a particle size of 50 μm or less, and 0.1 to 5 g per diaper is used.
It is preferable to use it in a certain proportion.

The deodorizing function of the disposable diapers in this example was tested in accordance with the odor test method established by the Apparel Product Quality Performance Measures Council. The sample and urea-degrading bacteria were placed in a urea broth medium, and after culturing, three sensory tests were carried out. The test was conducted to check for the presence of ammonia odor.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, in the paper diaper of the present invention, silver-containing glass powder whose main component is phosphoric acid is dispersed on the inner or outer surface of the absorbent material, so that the odor immediately after urination is eliminated by weakly acidic phosphoric acid. This can be prevented by the ammonia neutralization effect of the system glass, and after a period of time, the eluted silver ions can sterilize urea-degrading bacteria and suppress the generation of ammonia. Therefore, the discomfort caused by ammonia and the risk of diaper rash can be almost completely eliminated.
