Claims (1)
- テールケーブル６１をジヨイントチヤンバカバ
ー５９に連結するための連結部材１，１１がその
先端に接合される光海底中継器のテールケーブル
接合部構造であつて、テールケーブル６１の先端
部とこれが嵌合する連結部材１，１１の孔部５，
１５との間の環状間隙に溶融した金属を流し込ん
で両者を接合するものにおいて、テールケーブル
６１の先端部の外周面と連結部材１，１１の孔部
５，１５の対応内周面との少なくとも一方に、上
記溶融金属の長手方向への流れを制限し得る溝７
，１７を形成し、以て接合時に上記溶融金属が上
記環状間隙の周方向に広がりながら長手方向に略
均一に流れていくようにしたことを特徴とする光
海底中継器のテールケーブル接合部構造。
