Claims (1)
- 回転駆動される定着ローラと、定着ローラを加
熱するヒータと、定着ローラに当接して定着ロー
ラの回転に対応して駆動される無端ベルトと、を
備え、転写画像を有する転写材が定着ローラおよ
び無端ベルトの間を通過するとき、転写画像が転
写材に定着される定着装置において、前記定着ロ
ーラに当接する無端ベルトの当接面の裏面に当接
して、無端ベルトの温度を検出する第１温度検出
手段と、定着ローラの所定位置の外周面に当接し
て定着ローラの温度を検出する第２温度検出手段
と、所定の設定温度を記憶し、第１温度検出手段
または第２温度検出手段の検出温度を所定の設定
温度と比較して、ヒータの通電および通電の遮断
を制御する制御手段と、を設け、該制御手段が、
第１温度検出手段の検出温度および第２温度検出
手段の検出温度の温度差に基づいて前記所定の設
定温度を補正することを特徴とする定着装置。
