Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本考案は、携帯時に嵩ばることがなく、使用時
に操作の容易なタンポン用アプリケータに関する
ものである。
（従来技術） タンポン用のアプリケータとしては、先端部に
弾丸状に圧縮形成されたタンポンが装着された円
筒状の外筒と、この外筒の後端から内部に挿入さ
れ、上記タンポンを押し出す内筒とから成る構造
のものが良く知られている。
しかしながら、こうした構造の場合、基本的に
は全長が内筒及び外筒の長さになつてしまうた
め、携帯に不便である。
このために最近では第５図に示すように、外筒
と内筒及び押出しロツドとを備えたアプリケータ
が提案されている。このアプリケータは、内筒が
外筒に、また押出しロツドが内筒にそれぞれ挿入
されていて、不使用時には全長がほぼ外筒の長さ
分となり、使用時には内筒及び押出しロツドを引
き出すことにより、三者を足した長さとなる。従
つて、携帯性の良好なアブリケータとして前記従
来例に変わりつつある。
（考案が解決しようとする問題点） ところが、こうした３段構造のものの場合、押
出しロツドを強く引いて、その先端に設けた突条
及び突起間に内筒の後端を強制的に嵌込み、これ
によつて押出しロツドと内筒とを一体化させるた
めに、使用時にその操作が容易でなく、しかも通
常は、外筒をちつ内に若干挿入した状態でこの操
作を行なうために、経血によつて手指が汚れてし
まうことがある。
本考案はこのような問題点に鑑み、不使用時に
はコンパクトでありながら、使用時に所定の長さ
に調整する操作が容易でしかもこの操作中に手指
等を汚したりすることのないタンポン用アプリケ
ータを提供することを目的とするものである。
（問題点を解決するための手段） 本考案は上記した問題点を解決するために、弾
丸状に圧縮形成されたタンポンの後端部を支持す
る支持体と、上記タンポン及び支持体が挿入され
たケーシング部材と、ケーシング部材の下端部に
回動自在に装着された回動操作部材と、この回動
操作部材を回動することにより上記タンポンをケ
ーシング部材の上端から直線状に進退動させる動
作変換機構とを備え、前記タンポンの取出し紐が
前記回動操作部材の底部から引し出し可能になつ
ている点に特徴を有するものである。
（実施例） 以下、本考案を図示した実施例に基づいて詳細
に説明する。
第１図乃至第４図は本考案の一実施例に係るア
プリケータを示しており、図中符号１は弾丸状に
圧縮形成されたタンポン、２はこのタンポンの後
端部を支持する支持体で、タンポンが後述するケ
ーシングの上端から落ちない程度にその下部をく
わえ込む。３は支持体の外周に設けた突起であ
る。
４は前記したケーシングで、このケーシング４
は内筒５と外筒６とから成る。内筒５は底部に設
けられた大径のつまみ部７とこのつまみ部７から
一体的に起立した筒状部８とから成つており、筒
状部８はその上端が開放され、周面に２条の縦溝
９，９が形成されている。縦溝９は上記支持体２
の突起３を挿通可能な幅を有し、上下端に互いに
逆行する横溝を備える。また、つまみ部７の底面
にはタンポン１の取り出し紐１０を挿通可能な開
口１１が形成されており、この開口１１は剥離可
能な遮蔽シート１２によつて一時的に封鎖されて
いる。
外筒６は、タンポン１と支持体２が内部に装着
された内筒５を挿通可能な内径を有し、内周面に
は第３図及び第４図に見られるような螺旋状の溝
１３が形成されている。この螺旋溝１３は上記内
筒５の縦溝９から突出した突起３を受け入れ可能
に形成されており、突起３を案内しつつ支持体２
及びタンポン１を外筒６内で回動しつつ進退動さ
せる。
１４は保護キヤツプで、上記外筒６を挿通可能
な内径と、内筒５のつまみ部７の外径と略等しい
外径を有する（第２図参照）。
タンポン１を除く、これらの各構成部材は、遅
効性の水溶性プラスチツク材によつて形成するの
が望ましい。
使用状態を説明すると、先ず、使用者は、つま
み部７の遮蔽シート１２を剥し、取り出し紐１０
をフリーにした後、保護キヤツプ１４を外してつ
まみ部７を回すと、支持体２の突起３が外筒内面
の螺旋溝１３に案内されて筒状部８の縦溝９を上
方に移動し、これに伴つてタンポン１が外筒６の
上端から回動量分だけ突出する。従つて、使用者
は自分に合つた適切な長さだけ、タンポン１を外
筒６から突出させてこれをそのままちつ内に挿入
する。挿入されたタンポン１は、その後端部が支
持体２に落ちない程度の圧力で固定されているだ
けであるから、外筒６を引けば、ちつ圧によつて
容易に支持体２から分離し、ちつ内に残される。
手元に残つたケーシング等は水溶性の素材によつ
て形成されているから、そのままトイレ等に捨て
ても詰まつたりすることがない。
このようにして、このアプリケータは使用時に
所要の長さに伸ばされるまでは、短かな筒状を成
しているので、持ち運びに不便となることはな
い。使用時にはつまみを回すだけで所望の長さに
なるため、その取り扱いが容易である。
尚、上記した実施例では、回動操作部材たるつ
まみを回すことにより、螺旋状溝と縦溝とこれら
両溝をしゅう動する突起とを介して、タンポンを
回動させつつケーテングから進退動させるように
しているが、本考案は、この他、回動動作を直線
進退動に変換する公知の動作変換機構を採用する
ことにより、タンポン自体を回動させることなく
進退動させることもできるものである。
（効果） 以上述べたように本考案によれば、アプリケー
タ後端の回動操作部材を回すことによりタンポン
が外筒ケースから進退動するので、不使用時には
タンポンを外筒ケース内に収納しておくことによ
り、携帯性に富んだアプリケータを提供できる。
また、使用時には、従来のように操作ロツドや
内筒を外筒ケースの後端から引き出したり、ある
いは両者を結合させたりする必要がなく、単純に
回動操作部材を回すだけですむから、その操作が
容易で、しかも、手指等を汚したりすることな
く、その使用を行なうことができる。
更に、回動操作部材の回動量によつてケーシン
グ部材からのタンポンの送り出し量を調整できる
から、使用者は好みの長さ設定をした後、ちつ内
に挿入でき、ケーシング部材をそのままちつ内に
挿入した後、タンポンを送り出す従来例に比べ
て、挿入時の違和感を軽減できる。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 弾丸状に圧縮形成されたタンポンの後端部を支
    持する支持体と、上記タンポン及び支持体が挿入
    されたケーシング部材と、ケーシング部材の下端
    部に回動自在に装着された回動操作部材と、この
    回動操作部材を回動することにより上記タンポン
    をケーシング部材の上端から直線状に進退動させ
    る動作変換機構とを備え、前期タンポンの取出し
    紐が前記回動操作部材の底部から引き出し可能に
    なつていることを特徴とするタンポン用アプリケ
    ータ。
