For example, in industrial instruments such as multi-point recorders, a large number of switching contacts are connected in the circumferential direction as a multi-point input switch for sequentially switching and intermittently inputting measured values at a large number of measuring points to a measuring circuit. Selector switches arranged in parallel are used. This is the fourth
To explain briefly using the figure, reference numeral 1 in the figure is a contact board on which a selector pattern (consisting of a common contact pattern 2 and a switching contact pattern 3 as shown in FIG. 5) is formed. A substrate 1 is attached to the tip of a support shaft 4 that is supported by penetrating this substrate 1.
A selector arm 5 is provided which is rotated relative to the selector arm 5, and a pair of contacts (brushes) 6, 7 are provided at both ends of the arm 5 to press and slide against each of the contact patterns 2, 3. There is. In addition, 8 in the figure is a leaf spring exhibiting a substantially U-shape as shown in FIG. 6, 6a, 6b; 7, 7a, 7b are provided. Here, the reason why two contacts are used in this way is to ensure the reliability of the switch.

As is clear from Fig. 5, it has been common practice in the past for both sides of the circumferential direction of the Ta. This is to prevent the contact from falling into the groove by contacting the next contact before it falls from the end of each contact into the groove where there is no contact pattern when switching from one contact to the other. This was to maintain the lifespan of 6 and 7.

However, as described above, the contacts 2a, 2b, . . . ; 3a, 3b, .
If the contacts 6 and 7 are placed through the diagonal grooves, the contacts 6 and 7 will be in stable contact with each contact point, and a space in the circumferential direction to obtain conduction will be required over a considerable rotation angle. As a result, the number of contacts that can be set within a limited space is limited, and there is a limit to the number of contacts that can be provided.
Therefore, if the outer diameter of the selector pattern is limited and a large number of contacts is required,
In order to use a selector switch with a multi-stage structure or to reduce the rotation angle required to switch one contact, the length of each spring piece of the leaf spring 8 that supports the contacts 6 and 7 is set so that the inner side is shorter. It was necessary to take measures such as shifting the contact position of the contact to the contact point.
However, with such a configuration, it is difficult to properly maintain the spring characteristics of the leaf spring 8, and variations occur in the strength of both spring pieces, resulting in not only poor balance but also a tendency for stable contact to fail. There were also problems in terms of workability of springs, etc.

Problems arise in that repetitive bending stress is generated in the contacts 6 and 7, and the life of the contacts 6 and 7 is shortened. Therefore, it is desired that some kind of countermeasure be taken to eliminate these problems.

According to the present invention, the rotation angle of the contact sliding on the contact pattern can be reduced, thereby increasing the number of contacts and achieving miniaturization. Moreover, during sliding operation, the contact can be moved into a groove without a pattern. There is no problem that the lifespan of the contact will be shortened due to the drop in temperature.

As is clear from Fig. 3, the rotation angle for the contacts 6, 7 to pass over a, 3b, . This makes it possible to increase the number of contacts within a limited space, and when forming the same number of contacts, the overall size can be reduced. moreover,
With the above-mentioned configuration, as is clear from FIG. 2, etc., there is no problem such as when the contacts 6 and 7 fall into the groove without a pattern between the contacts during sliding operation, thereby extending the life of the contacts. This is something that can be achieved.

This is because the surface of the selector pattern mentioned above is generally subjected to a special plating treatment from the viewpoint of electrical characteristics and lifespan, and the size of the pattern surface as mentioned above has a large impact on cost. This can be easily understood for the following reasons.

As explained above, according to the selector switch according to the present invention, the circumferential side edge of each contact constituting the common contact pattern and the switching contact pattern arranged on the board is aligned in the sliding direction of the contact. Since it is formed in a roughly dogleg shape with a protruding top, the rotation angle of the contact that slides on the contact pattern is reduced despite the simple structure, which makes it easier to use than before. This makes it possible to increase the number of circuit switching contacts on the board, and also to reduce the overall size.Furthermore, during sliding operation, the contacts fall into grooves without contact patterns, which reduces the lifespan of the contacts. There are various excellent practical effects such as not causing the problem of shortening the length.
