2. Description of the Related Art An example of this type of clothes dryer is Japanese Examined Patent Publication No. 60.
It is disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. -56518. This dryer is
A wind tunnel is provided at the outlet of the rotary drum which is a drying chamber, an opening is provided at the rear of the wind tunnel, and a heat exchange type double-sided fan is provided with this opening as a partition. A sealing material is interposed between the outer peripheral edge of the double-sided fan and the opening edge of the wind tunnel, and separates a dry air passage on the front side of the fan and a cooling air passage on the rear side of the fan. That is, when the double-sided fan is rotated during the drying operation, the dry air is circulated to the drying chamber by the front surface of the double-sided fan, and the cooling air, which is the external air, is introduced and discharged so as to contact the rear surface of the double-sided fan. It Then, the fan itself exchanges heat between the drying air and the cooling air, the moisture is removed from the drying air, and the moisture is collected on the drying air passage side.

However, in this dryer, although the sealing material is inserted, the drying air passage and the cooling air passage may communicate with each other due to vibration of the rotating fan or small movement in the thrust direction. If the air leaks to the cooling air passage side and condenses, the condensed water cannot be collectively collected.
Also, if the dry air leaks out of the machine as it is, it will change the installation location to a high humidity environment.

Since the rib height of the fixed side peripheral rib of the fixed groove group is made lower than the rib height of the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group, the bottom surface of the rotary groove group is the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group. With the group of rotation grooves inserted so as to be located substantially flush with the opening edge of the, and the labyrinth connection is formed by loosely fitting in a non-contact state with each other, the double-sided fan projects toward the cooling air passage side, and the cooling air passage Without narrowing the cooling air passage by narrowing the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group and narrowing the cooling air passage.
It is possible to secure a sufficient amount of cooling air to pass through the cooling air passage, thereby improving the dehumidification rate. Further, since a sufficient air passage space can be secured between the double-sided fan and the rear plate, even if the double-sided fan warps toward the cooling air passage due to the temperature increase on the drying air passage side during the drying operation, it will contact the rear surface plate. In addition, since the air passage is not narrowed and the cooling air volume does not decrease, the dehumidification rate does not decrease.

Further, a fixed groove group 30 is provided between the partition plate 28 and the double-sided fan 17, and a rib height h in the direction from the bottom of the fixed side peripheral rib 35 constituting the fixed groove group 30 to the rear face plate 3. The rib height H in the direction from the bottom of the inner peripheral portion 29 forming the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group 30 toward the rear face plate 3.
By forming it to be lower than the rotation groove group 2
The rotating groove group 22 is inserted so that the bottom surface of the second groove is substantially flush with the opening edge of the inner peripheral portion 29 forming the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group 30, and the rotating groove group 22 is not contacted with each other. Since it is fitted to form a labyrinth connection, the cooling air passage 33
The double-sided fan 17 does not project to the side to narrow the cooling air passage 33, and the inner peripheral portion 29 does not project to narrow the cooling air passage 33, so that a sufficient air passage space can be secured. Since the air volume of the cooling air passing through the cooling air passage 33 can be sufficiently secured, the dehumidification rate is improved. Further, since a sufficient air passage space can be secured between the double-sided fan 17 and the rear plate 3, the double-sided fan 17 warps toward the cooling air passage 33 side due to the temperature increase on the drying air passage 25 side during the drying operation. Back plate 3
Since it does not come into contact with, and the air passage is not narrowed to reduce the cooling air volume, the dehumidification rate does not decrease.

In this embodiment, the outer peripheral portion 1 of the double-sided fan 17 is used.
By making 9 an annular shape, the strength of the entire fan during blade formation and heating is maintained, and this outer peripheral portion 19 is formed in the rotary groove group 2
It is used for part of 2. A vertical rib 34 is integrally formed from the tip of the innermost portion of the fixed groove group 30 of the partition plate 28 toward the outer peripheral portion 19 with high dimensional accuracy. The vertical rib 34 is orthogonal to the depth direction of the groove and narrows the space between the vertical rib 34 and the outer peripheral portion 19 to prevent the condensed water from leaking from the dry air duct 25 side. Also, when condensed water enters, surface tension is generated between the narrow intervals of the outer peripheral portion 19 to enhance the sealing effect. The vertical rib 34 may be formed not only at the tip but also in the middle thereof, but it must be adjusted in accordance with the dimensional accuracy as the strength of the outer peripheral portion 19 is improved.

Further, in the present embodiment, a sufficient air passage space can be secured between the double-sided fan 17 and the rear plate 3, so that the temperature of the double-sided fan 17 increases during the drying operation due to the temperature increase on the dry air passage 25 side. Even if the cooling air passage 33 warps, it does not come into contact with the rear surface plate 3 and the air passage is not narrowed to reduce the cooling air volume, so that the dehumidification rate does not decrease. Therefore, it is possible to design the cooling air passage 33 with almost no reduction in the air passage space due to the warp of the double-sided fan, and as a result, it is possible to obtain a clothes dryer capable of reducing the thickness of the cooling air passage portion.

The present invention is constructed as described above, and when partitioning the dry air passage and the cooling air passage, which are formed on the front and back sides of the double-sided fan, inside the rotary groove group and the partition plate on the outer peripheral portion of the double-sided fan. The labyrinth connection is configured by loosely fitting the fixed groove group of the peripheral portion to each other, and moreover, the rib height of the fixed side peripheral rib of the fixed groove group is
Since the rib height is lower than the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group, the double-sided fan does not project toward the cooling air passage side to narrow the cooling air passage, and the outermost peripheral portion of the fixed groove group protrudes to cool the cooling air. It is possible to secure a sufficient air passage space without narrowing the passage, and thus, it is possible to sufficiently secure the air volume of the cooling air passing through the cooling air passage, thereby improving the dehumidification rate. Also,
Since a sufficient air passage space can be secured in the cooling air passage on the back of the double-sided fan, even if the double-sided fan warps toward the cooling air passage due to the temperature increase on the drying air passage side during the drying operation, it may come into contact with other parts. Also, since the air passage is not narrowed and the cooling air volume does not decrease, the dehumidification rate does not decrease. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a clothes dryer having a high dehumidification rate, in which the cooling air passage portion can be made thin.
