The water treatment apparatus by the inventor of the present application is basically such that a cylinder having an appropriate diameter is vertically rotated by a central axis in the treatment tank to generate a primary flow and a secondary flow in the water tank. A secondary flow is generated, and fine earth and sand with a specific gravity higher than that of water is accumulated in the center of the bottom of the treatment tank, while organic matter with a specific gravity smaller than that of water is accumulated in the vicinity of the rotating cylinder, especially in the center. The principle is to recover by various means. However, the accumulated sediment and suspended solids are
As a result of gathering toward the central axis that rotates the cylinder, the central axis is an obstacle to the collection of these aggregates. Therefore, a complicated pipeline and pump equipment for discharging from the bottom of the processing tank to the outside of the system are required, and there is always a risk of pipeline clogging, which is complicated to prevent pipeline clogging. Problems such as constant maintenance are required. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to further improve the water treatment apparatus already proposed by the present inventor without impairing any of their advantages, and to integrate the water treatment apparatus in the vicinity of the center of the upper and lower sides of the cylinder in cooperation with pump equipment as needed. It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel water treatment device that can easily remove and treat the accumulated sediment and suspended matter.

The rotary cylinder 2 is driven by drive sources 3, 3'such as a motor attached to a support 7 fixed to the processing tank 1. In the illustrated example, the shaft 3 of the motor 3, 3 '
1 is provided with a drive gear 32 at its tip, and meshes with a band gear 33 provided around the outer wall surface of the cylinder to rotate the cylinder 2 at an appropriate speed. A flange 34 for supporting the cylinder 2 is provided on the outer side of the upper portion of the cylinder, and the cylinder 2 is rotatably suspended by the motors 3 and 3'via friction reducing means such as a ball bearing 35. In this case, when there is a possibility that the whole treatment tank may be tilted due to ground subsidence or the like, it is preferable to provide an adjusting mechanism for keeping the rotating cylinder vertical. In the illustrated example, the rotational force of the motor is transmitted to the rotary cylinder 2 by the gear. For example, the gear is replaced with a hard rubber or a hard rubber coating, and the cylinder is rotated by the frictional force with the outer surface of the cylinder 2. The cylinder 2 may be rotated by other means such as.
In FIG. 1, two similar motors 3 and 3 ′ are shown on the left and right, but of course, the number of motors may be one as long as the rotary cylinder 2 is maintained substantially vertical. A method of making the rotating cylinder 2 rotatable without using the central portion of the rotating cylinder 2 is, for example, a similar flange (not shown) inside the upper end of the cylinder 2 or inside the middle stage.
May be provided, and the cylinder 2 may be rotatably suspended from the support 7 or may be rotatably supported by an arm (not shown) extending from the bottom of the processing tank 1 or the wall of the processing tank 1. Good.

At the lower part of the rotary cylinder 2, means 8 and 8'for preventing the horizontal shake of the rotary cylinder 2 are provided, but this is not essential, and when the rotary cylinder 2 does not laterally shake, or other If the lateral deviation is prevented by the method, the lateral deviation means 8 and 8'as shown in the figure are unnecessary. A sand removing passage 9 is formed in a substantially central portion of the rotary cylinder 2, and sediment 10 is discharged together with a part of the treated water by a pump or the like (not shown), and is collected and disposed in a sand reservoir (not shown). The pipe 11 provided on the side of the sand removing passage 9 is connected at its end to a compressor or the like that supplies compressed air, and compressed air can be introduced through the pipe 11 to assist the removal of earth and sand. The above is an example, and it is natural that the removal of the earth and sand may be performed by other methods. Of course,
If the water to be treated does not contain earth or sand, or if it does not need to be removed even if it does, the sand removing passage 9 or the like is unnecessary. In addition, this sand removing passage 9 is, as shown by the chain line in FIG.
By arranging the lower end thereof near the water surface, preferably slightly below the water surface, it can also be used for removing suspended matters accumulated in the central portion of the rotating cylinder 2.

A weir 12 that moves up and down according to the height of the water surface is provided on the wall surface of the rotating cylinder 2, and a bottomed suspended material reservoir 13 is formed inside the wall surface.
Floats 14 are collected in this reservoir 13. The floating material 14 accumulated in the floating material reservoir 13 is pumped up by a pump or the like (not shown) connected to the tip of the pipe 15 and disposed of by any means such as drying and incineration. Contrary to the above, in the case of treated water in which the suspended matter 14 does not exist, or the suspended matter 14
If it is not necessary to remove
Needless to say, the removing means of is unnecessary. The rotating cylinder 2 as described above has a diameter of about 10 to 30% of the diameter of the processing tank 1, and its length depends on the depth of the processing tank 1.
Further, it can be arbitrarily changed depending on the required processing capacity and power cost.

The rotating cylinder 2 is preferably made of stainless steel or an antiseptic metal in consideration of strength and antiseptic property. Also, the wall surface of the rotating cylinder 2 is usually smooth, but a large number of holes and grooves (not shown) are formed on the wall surface.
Can be provided to improve the frictional force with the water to be treated. When the rotating cylinder 2 is rotated in the same direction in the treatment tank 1 by the driving sources 3 and 3 ′, the water flow is accelerated by the frictional force between the rotating cylinder 2 and the water to be treated, and the flow velocity becomes closer to the wall surface of the cylinder 2. Becomes larger, and the flow velocity of the water to be treated decreases as it gets closer to the wall surface of the treatment tank 1. By this forced primary flow,
The suspended matter 14 existing on the surface of the treated water is attracted to the vicinity of the rotating cylinder 2, passes over the weir 12 provided at the upper part of the rotating cylinder 2, and is accumulated in the suspended matter reservoir 13, while being suspended in the water. The suspended or emulsified fine algae debris, plankton, oil droplets, etc. are floated on the water surface together with the suspended matter 14 by the forced secondary flow by the rotating cylinder 2 and attracted to the rotating cylinder 2.
Moreover, it is accumulated in the floating material reservoir 13 in the same manner as it crosses over the weir 12. It is preferable that the weir 12 be allowed to move up and down and overflow in case the water level becomes lower than that of the weir. On the other hand, the earth and sand 10 suspended in the water to be treated by the primary flow and the secondary flow of the rotating cylinder 2 are accumulated on the bottom surface of the processing tank 1 almost at the center of the rotating cylinder 2, and are suctioned and removed by the sand removing passage 9 in the same manner. Is processed.

As described above, according to the present invention, the rotating cylinder is vertically rotated in a portion other than the central axis of the cylinder, so that the earth and sand accumulated on the upper and lower sides of the cylinder have nothing at the center of the cylinder. Since it does not exist, a means for collecting the accumulated matter can be provided at the center. Therefore, the accumulated sediment and suspended matter can be collected at the center of the upper and lower sides of the cylinder without impairing the advantages of the various water treatment devices already proposed by the present inventor. It can be easily removed and processed.
