の孔にインキを充たしながら同時にサーマルヘツ
ドを加熱させてインキを噴出させながら記録ヘツ
ドを走査してシリアル式で記録を行う記録装置に

ように、多数の微細孔を有するフイルムをエンド
レス状に周回させ、インキを周回するフイルムに
含浸させながら、印字を行う記録装置の研究、開
発を今日まで継続し、しかもエンドレス状のフイ
ルム及びインキの貯溜部を一体に備えたカセツト

させた場合にフイルムへのインキの含浸(供給)
がスムーズに行えない不具合が生じるものとされ
ていた。出願人は上記従来の不具合に着目し、簡
易な構造により、フイルムへのインキの供給およ
び記録紙への記録を、スムーズに行うことを目的

フイルムの孔に供給されたインキを選択的に記録
紙に向けて噴射するサーマルヘツドと、をカセツ
ト状に一体化したものである。

はロールに巻かれている新しい部分をとり出して
交換使用することができ、目詰まりに対しても非
常に強い。フイルム1の一面側には同じく長手状
の記録紙8が対向する状態で配置される。3は複
数個のサーマルドツトエレメント6が形成されて
いるサーマルヘツド部である。4はインキを供給
するインキ供給部である。このインキ供給部4は
箱状をなすカセツト状になつていると共に、イン
キを注入できる注入口があり、その中に記録用の
インキが入つており、さらにそのインキをフイル
ム1の孔2に供給して、孔をインキで充填する為
に、スポンジ等のインキ供給部4aがフイルムの
一面に接している。このサーマルヘツド部3とイ
ンキ供給部4はカセツト状に一体化されて移動体
を構成する。移動体は記録時においてフイルム1
の他面側に摺接する状態でフイルム1の長手方向
に沿い、記録紙8に対し平行に移動する。すると
フイルム1の孔2にインキ5が順次インキ供給部
4より供給されるとともに供給されたインキ5
は、サーマルヘツド3のサーマルドツドエレメン
ト6の選択的発熱によつて対向するフイルム1の
孔2をノズルとして記録紙8の方向へバルブ圧力
を噴出し、インキ5を記録紙8に噴射することが
可能となる。インキ5が噴出されたフイルム1の
孔2には、移動体の移動により新たにインキ供給
部4よりインキ5が供給されることとなる。な
