Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 1, a television receiver supplies a video signal from a tuner (1) to a video processing circuit (2) and displays a video on a screen of a cathode ray tube (5). ing. The control of the state of the screen such as the brightness of the screen of the cathode ray tube (5) is controlled by the microcomputer (3) by the image processing circuit (2).
Is controlled electronically, and the controlled circuit and the controlled variable mark are displayed on the screen by the switch circuit (4),
It indicates where in the control range the control value is. As shown in FIG. 4, the control amount mark is displayed by pressing the menu button on the remote controller to display the characters of the controlled item (7) at the bottom of the screen and the control range (10) at the full horizontal scanning range of the screen. It is indicated by a thin bar, and the control position cursor (11) indicates where the current control state is in the control range (10), and the controlled item (7) is displayed by operating the up / down push button of the remote controller. The control amount is changed by sequentially switching and pressing the left and right buttons of the remote controller to move the position of the cursor (11) left and right. This method is inconvenient in that it is difficult to grasp the overall control status because the controlled items are switched and displayed one by one.

The designated items (7) are switched one by one by the operation, and the control amount mark is displayed on the control range of the designated item, and the control amount mark is displayed on the control range (10) by pushing the horizontal button. There is also proposed a method of adjusting the control amount by moving it to the left and right.

And because the control amount mark is displayed, it interferes with the observation of the image,
This is an obstacle when adjusting the control amount while checking the image status.

It is configured to match the timing with a predetermined dot for horizontal scanning. However, even though the horizontal synchronization transmission frequency is locked and does not change, the clock frequency to be mounted with timing is inevitable to some extent due to the error and temperature characteristics of each component of the electronic circuit element.
Therefore, the tip of the control range bar (10) on the horizontal scanning end side is not fixed, and it may be too short to approach the center of the screen, or too long to be off the screen. In order to solve this problem, an expensive transmission circuit and a temperature correction circuit were provided, and it was necessary to adjust the character position.

The display position of the controlled variable mark (8) is provided in the range below the display position of the controlled item (7) and is almost equal to the display length of the controlled item (7), and it is horizontal from the display position of the controlled variable item (7) and the controlled variable mark (8). A wide image plane (9) is formed between the scanning end sides.

Moreover, since the controlled item and the control amount mark are brought close to the start side of the horizontal scanning to form a wide image surface in the center of the screen, the actual screen state can be easily grasped while performing the control, and the correct control can be performed. Since the controlled item and the control amount mark are displayed on the start side of horizontal scanning, changes in the display position due to temperature changes and component variations are small, and there is no need for expensive transmitter circuits, temperature corrections, character position adjustments, etc. Becomes

Since a wide image plane (9) is secured, there is an advantage that the image quality can be easily adjusted while watching the image. Control amount mark (8)
Since the bar (10) indicating the control range is located on the horizontal scanning start side, even if there is an error in the display position due to the variation of the temporary electronic elements, the actual variation length can be limited to a small value, which is an excellent feature.
