Conventionally, as shown in Fig. 4, a pintle hook b at the rear of a tow truck a and a front axle d of a towed vehicle c are connected by a rod-shaped tow bar e, and a tow bar is installed on the tow truck a. A wire rope h wound around a winch g attached to a boom f is connected to a lifting member k such as a chain or wire rope via a pulley i and a hook j, and this lifting member k is passed through the lower part of a spacing member l. The lifting member k is connected to the lower front axle d of the towed vehicle c, and winds up the wire rope h with the winch g.
The front part of the towed vehicle c is lifted up through the towed vehicle c, and the towed vehicle c is lifted up.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] In the above conventional structure, the lifting member k directly pushes up the spacing member l, so in the case of an actual vehicle, the lifting member k touches the bumper of the towed vehicle c. In order to prevent contact with the lower part of the vehicle, the bumper was removed as shown in Figure 4. Since it is necessary to remove this bumper, it is necessary to promptly remove the recovered vehicle (towed vehicle). There was a problem that it was difficult to achieve the original purpose.

Here, this invention has a holding member in the center that maintains a distance between the rear part of the towing vehicle and the front axle of the towed vehicle, and one end of this holding member has an L-shaped or right-angled cross section in the axial direction. The L-shaped part is configured to form an inverted L-shape so that the front axle of the towed vehicle can be gripped, and the other end can be coupled to a coupling device at the rear of the towed vehicle in a freely directional manner, and the holding member It is possible to freely expand and contract in the axial direction of the holding member and fix the extension length at appropriate intervals, and on both sides of the holding member, the L-shaped portion is provided with an L-shaped portion parallel to the axis of the central holding member. Lifting members for the towed vehicle are provided which are rotatably supported around the direction of the L-shaped portion, and these lifting members are extendable at the end on the L-shaped portion side and extended at appropriate intervals. A support device capable of supporting the rigid part of the lower part of the towed vehicle is provided on the upper part of the telescoping side member, and the telescoping side member, which is closer to the towed vehicle than the supporting device, is moved from the front end of the towed vehicle toward the towed vehicle. A tow bar device for a towed vehicle is proposed, which is configured so that the towed vehicle can be lifted up by lifting the lifting member with the towing vehicle using the vicinity of the front end of the towed vehicle as a point of application of force. It is something to do.

In other words, in the device of this invention having the above-mentioned configuration, the towed vehicle is lifted through the lifting member, so that the lifting member such as a chain or wire rope is directly hooked to the lower front end of the towed vehicle. Therefore, during recovery work, there is no need to remove the bumper or protect the lower part of the radiator to prevent damage.

Using the device configured as described above, first, the front axle 4 of the towed vehicle 3 is attached to the L-shaped portion 14 at the tip of the towed vehicle side of the holding member 5 that maintains the distance between the towed vehicle 1 and the towed vehicle 3. Grip with a means such as a wire rope, and then lift members 19, 19 of the towed vehicle 3 near the L-shaped portion 14, parallel to the axis of the L-shaped portion 14 and perpendicular to the axis of the holding member 5. L with the direction of
It is pivoted to the character-shaped portion 14. The lengths of the holding member 5 and the lifting members 19, 19 are expanded and contracted as appropriate, and the spacing member 30 of the towed vehicle 3 is held by the support device 25 on these lifting members 19, 19. Towing vehicle 3
The lower rigid part of the towed vehicle 3 can be pushed up, and the part in front of the support device 25 and in front of the front end of the towed vehicle 3 is lifted up by a lifting member 11, and the front wheels of the towed vehicle 3 are held at a position appropriately lifted from the ground; Furthermore, by winding the wire rope 8 into the winch 7, the hook 10 is hoisted up via the pulley 9 at the tip of the boom 6, and the lifting members 19, 1 are lifted up via the lifting member 11.
When the towed vehicle 3 is lifted up, the towed vehicle 3 is lifted up via the support device 25 and the spacing member 30.
