57-37294) That is, soil is used to raise seedlings, and sufficient consideration is not given to damage to the roots during transplantation. Furthermore, the structure disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 144914/1983 is used for rice plants, and is designed to actively entangle the roots of adjacent seedlings. When raising seedlings for hydroponic cultivation using such a configuration, there is a drawback that the subsequent growth of seedlings of leafy vegetables, in particular, is slowed down if the roots are damaged.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 4. FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of the plant seedling raising device according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the grid in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is an enlarged perspective view showing the seedling growing state in the plant seedling growing device of FIG. It is a diagram.
In the figure, 1 is an open-celled foam material, into which seeds of plants 2 are sown and grown. Reference numeral 3 denotes a grid on which the foam 1 can be fixed at an arbitrary position, and the grid 3 has a size that can be accommodated in the seedling growing box 4. Note that the foam 1 is located at a predetermined position due to its elasticity. 5 is a piece provided at a corner of the lattice 3, and by contacting a receiving plate 6 provided at a position corresponding to the piece 5 of the seedling growing box 4, the lattice 3 is placed in a predetermined position in the seedling growing box 4. It is something to be placed. 7
is a space formed between the bottom surface of the lattice 3 and the bottom surface of the seedling growing box 4. In addition, the seedling raising box 4 is provided with water 8.
A pipe 14 for supplying water and a pipe 15 for returning the supplied water 8 to the water tank 9 are provided.
For example, in order to efficiently supply water 8 to the seedling growing box 4, the pipe 14 is attached to the installation location of the receiving plate 6 (foam material (Where there is no 1) It is kicked. The nutrient water 8 thus supplied passes through a water nutrient hole (not shown) provided in the bead 5 and is stored at the bottom of the seedling growing box 4. Further, the pipe 15 is provided so that the nutrient water accumulated at the bottom of the seedling growing box 4 can be discharged. Said pipes 14 and 15 are connected to valves 13 and 1, respectively.
6 to a pipe 17 and a pipe 12, and the pipe 17 is inserted into a water tank 9,
Pipe 12 is connected to pump 10. The pump 12 supplies the nutrient water 8 in the nutrient tank 9 through the pipe 11, the pipe 12, the valve 13, the pipe 14,
Seedling box 4, pipe 15, valve 16, pipe 17
Forcibly circulate in this order.

In such a configuration, the plants 2 grow while absorbing nutrient water 8 through the foam 1. At this time, the foam 1 is completely separated from the adjacent ones, and since the space 7 is formed at the bottom, the roots of the adjacent plants 2 will not become entangled. Therefore, when the plant 2 is moved, damage to the roots can be prevented and the growth of the plant 2 will not be adversely affected. Also, when transplanting plant 2,
The work when taking out the plants 2 from the seedling growing box 4 can be done easily, so that workability can be improved.

Next, FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing another embodiment of the plant seedling raising device according to the present invention. In the same figure, the same reference numerals as in the previous embodiment indicate the same members. This embodiment differs from the previous embodiment in that the insertion portion of the foam 1 of the lattice 18 is provided with a downwardly narrowing slope.
