When sewage discharged from plumbing areas such as washrooms in ordinary homes is introduced into the main sewage pipe, a drainage basin is installed at the connection point between the sewage drain pipe and the main sewage pipe, and the pipe is cleaned from the opening of this drainage basin. It is common practice to prevent the backflow of odors by interposing a trap in the middle of the drain pipe. The drainage basin used for this kind of piping construction has an opening diameter of 30 cm or more, and is effective when a sufficient installation space can be secured. The drainage basin mentioned above is effective when there is a large open space around the house. It is preferably used for.

However, there are many residential lots where only an extremely narrow space is secured at the boundary with the neighboring house, and in such residential lots it may be necessary to install drainage basins in the narrow space at the boundary with the neighboring house. Therefore, in recent years, when using the above-mentioned drainage basin with a large diameter opening of 30cm or more, a small diameter basin with a smaller opening diameter of 20cm or less, which can be connected to the main sewage pipe of the same diameter, is being used to save space in narrow spaces. The main sewage pipe and drainage pipe are connected. However, in narrow spaces where a small-diameter chamber must be used, the installation length of the drain pipe becomes short, making it difficult to secure space for an odor-prevention trap in the middle of the drain pipe. be. In that case, a trap is connected directly to the small diameter cell, and a drain pipe is connected to the trap.

The small-diameter box A to which the trap is directly connected has a socket 4 for connecting the trap that opens downward and communicates with the internal passage 2 of the cylindrical joint 1 via the dam 3, as shown in Fig. 8. An opening 5 is provided so as to face both the joint part 1 and the socket part 4. Then, as shown in the figure, a trap 6 is placed in the socket 4.
When the spout 7 at one end is fitted inside, the trap 5 is rotated around the socket 4 to remove the trap 6.
The direction of the drain pipe (not shown) can be changed according to the installation position of the drain pipe (not shown).

Conventionally, in such a connection structure between the small diameter square A and the trap 6, the inner circumferential surface of the socket portion 4 and the outer circumferential surface of the opening portion 7 of the trap 6 were both flat surfaces. Therefore, at the stage where the spout 7 is simply fitted into the socket 4, the orientation of the trap 6 can be adjusted;
It is not possible to prevent the fitting from falling off, and it is not possible to ensure watertightness at the fitting location between the two. Therefore, conventionally, after adjusting the direction of the trap 6,
By fixing the socket part 4 and the spout part 7 using adhesive 8 as shown in FIG. 9, the spout part 7 was prevented from falling off and water intrusion/leakage from the above-mentioned fitting part was prevented.

Adjustment of the direction of the trap 6 mentioned above is done using the small diameter A.
It is more advantageous to do this after the joint 1 is connected to the main pipe than before. Therefore, the adhesive 8 is applied to the inner peripheral surface of the socket part 4 or the outer peripheral surface of the socket part 7 before fitting the spout part 7 into the socket part 4,
While the adhesive has not hardened, insert the spout 7 into the socket 4.
At the same time, it is necessary to connect the joint part 1 to the main pipe and adjust the direction of the trap 6, and to allow the adhesive 8 to harden after the adjustment is completed.

However, the work of applying the adhesive 8 is troublesome, and the above-mentioned work must be performed between applying the adhesive 8 and curing it, that is, fitting the spout 7 into the socket 4, and connecting the joint 1. The problem is that it is difficult to connect to the main pipe and adjust the orientation of the trap 6, and it is difficult to accurately adjust the orientation of the trap 6 because skill and speed are required.

Further, when the adhesive 8 hardens, the socket part 4 and the spout part 7 are fixed by the adhesive 8, so that there is a problem in that the direction of the trap 7 cannot be finely adjusted even if it is desired to do so afterwards.

This idea was created in view of the above problems.
By devising a method that prevents the spout of the trap from falling out and preventing water from entering or leaking from the fitting area between the socket and spout, the troublesome work of applying adhesive has been eliminated. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a small-diameter tube that allows the connection of main pipes and traps, as well as the orientation of the traps, to be adjusted regardless of the curing time of the adhesive, without the need for any additional steps. do.

The small-diameter trap connection structure of the present invention has a ring-shaped sealing member interposed between the socket on the small-diameter side and the trap opening to keep the gap watertight. A protrusion provided on either one of the part or the spout part is fitted into a groove part annularly provided in the other part so as to be slidable in the circumferential direction. Although the diameter is small, it has an opening in the upper part of the joint part, and the socket part communicates with the internal passage of the joint part via a dam and opens downward, as in the conventional case.

According to the small-diameter trap connection structure of the present invention, the orientation of the trap is adjusted by rotating the trap around the socket. Furthermore, since the socket and the spout are not fixed and are connected in a rotating manner, the direction of the trap can be adjusted at any time, and of course, fine adjustments can also be made. The spout part is prevented from falling off from the socket part by engaging the protrusion with the groove part, and
The sealing member ensures watertightness at the fitting portion between the socket and the spigot.

FIG. 1 is a plan view of a small-diameter cell A employing a trap connection structure according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a longitudinal sectional view thereof. The small diameter square A is connected to the main pipe by inserting the ends of the main pipe (not shown) into sockets 10 provided at both ends of the cylindrical joint part 1. Further, a trap connection socket portion 4 having a small diameter square A is opened downward at the side of the joint portion 1, and is communicated with the internal passage 2 of the joint portion 1 via a dam portion 3. An opening 5 is provided facing both the joint part 1 and the socket part 4. The diameter of the joint part 1 is 100 mm or more, and it is compatible with the general diameter main drainage pipe installed in residential areas, and the opening part 5 is installed in the narrow space at the boundary with the neighboring house as explained at the beginning. For example, the diameter is about 150 to 180 mm.

The trap 6 is U-shaped, and a spout 7 at one end is fitted into the socket 4. The connection structure at the fitting point between the socket part 4 and the spigot part 7 is shown in an enlarged scale in FIG. In the connection structure shown in the figure, a sealing member 11 is annularly interposed between the socket part 4 and the spigot part 7, and the sealing member 11 maintains a watertight state in the gap between the two. As the sealing member 11, it is possible to use a rubber O-ring or other fibrous material. Also,

According to the above connection structure, the protrusion 12 engages with the groove portion 13, thereby reliably preventing the spout portion 7 from falling off from the socket portion 4. Furthermore, since the spigot part 7 is connected to the socket part 4 in a rotational manner, the trap 6 can be rotated around the socket part 4 over a range close to 180 degrees, as shown by the arrow X in FIG. It is possible to rotate the trap 6, so that the direction of the trap 6 can be adjusted in accordance with the installation direction of the drain pipe led from the house. In addition, in FIG. 1, the limit positions of the rotation range of the trap 6 are shown by virtual lines A and B.

The small diameter square A and the trap 6 are molded from synthetic resin such as polyvinyl chloride resin or polypropylene resin. Therefore, in order to internally fit the spout part 7 into the socket part 4, it is only necessary to push the spout part 7 into the socket part 4 by utilizing the deformability of the socket part 4 and the spout part 7. By doing so, the protrusion 12 fits into the groove 13. Further, if the sealing member 11 is fitted in advance into the annular groove 14 formed on the outer periphery of the spout 7 as shown in the figure, the sealing member 11 can be inserted into the socket by fitting the spout 7 inside. It is interposed between the part 4 and the spout part 7. Incidentally, if guide tapered surfaces 15 and 16 are formed at the lower end corner of the socket 4 and the upper end corner of the spout 7 as shown in FIG. can be pushed in easily.

The groove portion 13 and the spout portion 7 of the socket portion 4 shown in FIG.
The projection 12 has an upper surface and a lower surface having slopes with opposite slopes, but the groove 13 may have an undercut shape with the upper surface 13a being an inclined surface and the lower surface 13b being a horizontal surface, as shown in FIG. In such a case, it is desirable that the cross-sectional shape of the projection 12 is serrated as shown in FIG. This has the advantage that the protrusion 12 easily fits into the groove 13 when the spout 7 is pushed into the socket 4, and that the spout 7 is reliably prevented from falling off. Also,
The sealing member 14 does not necessarily need to be held in the groove 14 of the spout 7; even if it is held in the annular groove formed on the inner circumference of the socket 4, It may be interposed between the end surface and a stepped surface formed at the upper end of the socket portion 4.

In FIG. 6, a protrusion 12 is integrally provided on the side of the socket 4,
An example is shown in which the protrusion 12 is fitted into an annular groove 13 formed in the spout 7. This also achieves the same falling-off prevention effect as explained in FIGS. 3 to 5. Further, the protrusions 12 do not necessarily need to be provided in an annular manner around the entire circumference of the socket 7; for example, as is clear from FIG. good. The same thing can be said about those in FIGS. 3-5.

As described above, the small-diameter trap connection structure of the present invention does not use adhesive to fix the socket of the small-diameter cell and the trap opening, but connects them both in a circular manner, and This prevents water intrusion/leakage from the fitting portion of the two and the falling of the spout from the socket, so there is no need to apply adhesive as in the past. In addition, you can connect the main pipes and traps and adjust the orientation of the traps regardless of the curing time of the adhesive, so you can perform these tasks calmly and reliably. The advantage is that you can make fine adjustments whenever you want.
Such an advantage is particularly useful for small-diameter sieves used when it is necessary to provide an opening for cleaning in a narrow space at the border with a neighboring house.
