【考案の詳細な説明】
(産業上の利用分野)
この考案は、イオン注入装置などに使用するス
パツタ型負イオン源に関する。[Detailed Description of the Invention] (Industrial Application Field) This invention relates to a sputter type negative ion source used in ion implantation equipment and the like.
(従来の技術)
周知のようにスパツタ型負イオン源は、スパツ
タ・ターゲツトをセシウムイオンによつてスパツ
タすることによつて、負イオンを発生するように
構成されてある。その従来例を示したのが第2図

同図において、1は負イオンとして引き出され
る元素を供給するスパツタ・ターゲツト(以下単

負イオンビームを引出す電場を構成するイオン源

1の表面にまで至るパイプ13を設ける。パイプ
13はセシウムリザーバー2からのセシウム蒸気
を、ターゲツト1の表面に直接吹き付けるように
