Next, the structure of the magnet generator used in this example will be explained. Now, when charging coil 1 begins to generate half-wave output in the direction of the arrow (positive direction) in Figure 1, base current flows to transistor 8 in the circuit from coil 1 to resistor 7 to base/emitter of transistor 8 to ground. ,
The collector and emitter of this transistor 8 are electrically connected, and the output of the coil 1 is short-circuited. At this time, as the short-circuit current of transistor 8 increases as shown in FIG. Rise. When this voltage reaches a set value (for example, a voltage value corresponding to a short circuit current of 0.5 to 4 A), transistor 6 becomes conductive and short-circuits between the base and emitter of transistor 8.
OFF, and the short circuit current is abruptly cut off. At this time, a large induced voltage is generated in the coil 1 as shown by the solid line in FIG. 3b, and this high voltage causes the capacitor 13 to be

Here, if the high voltage induced in the charging coil 1 is relatively low, such as when the engine speed is low, the voltage charged to the capacitor 13 will not exceed the set value, so the solid line in FIG. As shown by the solid line in FIG. 3c, the capacitor 13 is charged multiple times by the high voltage of the charging coil 1 which is generated six times per rotation of the magnet generator.

On the other hand, when the engine rotates at medium to high speeds, the high voltage induced in the charging coil 1 becomes relatively high, and as shown by the broken line in FIG. When the charging voltage of the capacitor 13 exceeds the set value due to high voltage, the potential at the voltage dividing point of the voltage dividing resistors 9 and 10 becomes a value sufficient to make the transistor 6 conductive. and short-circuit the base of transistor 8. As a result, even if the third and subsequent positive half-wave outputs occur in the charging coil 1, the transistor 8 will not conduct, and a high voltage will not be induced in the charging coil 1. Therefore, the capacitor 13 will not be charged from then on. This prevents overcharging of the capacitor 13. At this time, the output voltage of the charging coil 1, the charging voltage of the capacitor 13, the transistor 8
The short-circuit currents are shown by the dashed lines in Fig. 3b, c, and d, respectively.

Furthermore, by reducing the number of ON/OFF operations of the transistor 8 when the high voltage induced in the charging coil 1 is relatively high, such as when the engine is running at high speed, the heat generation of the transistor 8 can be suppressed. Thermal runaway can be prevented.

In addition, with respect to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, resistors 9, 10,
Instead of the diode 11, a second detection circuit consisting of a series circuit of a Zener diode and a resistor is directly connected.
It may be inserted between the charging side terminal of the capacitor 13 and point a in FIG. In this way, leakage of the capacitor charging charge to the resistor 9 side at low speeds can be eliminated, and a drop in the charging voltage of the capacitor 13 can be prevented.

If it is OFF, the charge in the capacitor 13 is applied to the base of the transistor 22 via the resistor 26 and the diode 21, making the transistor 22 conductive and bypassing the gate signal of the thyristor 18. As a result, the ignition signal is no longer applied to the thyristor 18, the ignition operation is stopped, and the engine is stopped. As shown in FIG. 4, in a device that blocks the application of the ignition signal to the gate of the thyristor 18 to disable ignition and stop the engine, or in a device that prevents the engine from running, there are two poles. Even when a magnet generator is used, overvoltage of the capacitor 13 can be prevented when the engine is stopped.
