Conventionally, a cleaning device that sprays high-pressure cleaning water from a cleaning water spray nozzle installed in front of the headlamp has been used as a headlamp cleaner to clean dirt, insects, etc. that adhere to car headlamps while driving and restore light emission performance. This type of equipment has a structure in which a water supply pump that supplies cleaning water is driven by a motor, and the motor is electrically intermittent to spray or stop the cleaning water. .

However, according to the above method of intermittent control of washing water,
Since the output side of the water supply pump, that is, the cleaning water injection nozzle, is always open to the atmosphere, as shown in Figure 3, even if the motor is driven during injection, the cleaning water jetted from the cleaning water injection nozzle does not have an effective injection force. When the rise time t1 until reaching the predetermined water pressure P1 to be exerted becomes extremely long, the washing water that flows out during this rise time t1 is wasted, and the energization to the motor is stopped to stop the injection of washing water. However, there was a problem in which the low-pressure cleaning water flows out from the cleaning water injection nozzle at the end time t2 until the cleaning water on the output side of the water pump reaches equilibrium with the atmospheric pressure, resulting in wasted cleaning water. .

An intermittent operation method is adopted. However, in this case, there is a problem in that the above-mentioned wastage of washing water occurs every time the motor is turned on and off, and in particular, in the case of washing water that has a limited amount of water storage, such as those installed in automobiles, it is difficult to use washing water effectively. It was wanted.

In order to achieve the above object, a cleaning water injection method in an automobile headlamp cleaner according to the present invention is provided in the vicinity of a cleaning water injection nozzle of a communication pipe that communicates a cleaning water injection nozzle provided in front of a headlamp with a cleaning water tank. A solenoid valve is provided on the washing water tank side of the solenoid valve, and a pressurized water supply pump driven by a motor is interposed on the wash water tank side of the solenoid valve, and a solenoid valve timer and a solenoid valve timer are provided in which the solenoid valve and the motor are respectively synchronized with an appropriate time difference. The structure is such that the drive is controlled by a motor timer, and after a predetermined time has elapsed after the motor is driven, the solenoid valve is opened to inject cleaning water, and when the jetting of the cleaning water is stopped, the solenoid valve is first closed. ,
The gist is that the motor is configured to stop immediately after that.

According to the above injection method, as shown in the timing chart of FIG. 2, since the motor is driven from a predetermined time t1 before the solenoid valve is always opened, the motor is closed in front of the cleaning water injection nozzle during that time. The washing water is sprayed at a predetermined injection pressure P1 by a pressurized water pump.
The pressure is increased to a pressure P2 exceeding . Since the solenoid valve is opened from this state while continuing to drive the motor, the cleaning water injected from the cleaning water injection nozzle maintains the pressure P1 of the pressurized water pump and removes the mud attached to the headlamp surface. Or wash insects etc. After that, the solenoid valve opens when the motor stops, so the injection pressure of the cleaning water jetted from the cleaning water injection nozzle is maintained at a substantially constant level from the start to the end of the injection, and the rising time t2 and the end of the injection are kept constant. Since the time T4 is extremely shortened, this has the effect of suppressing the outflow of wasted cleaning water that is not used for cleaning.

Since the motor continues to be driven from the start to the end of intermittent injection, the pressurized water pump driven by the motor maintains the injection pressure of cleaning water above a predetermined pressure, resulting in an automotive head with high cleaning efficiency. A cleaning water injection method for lamp cleaners has been achieved.

During the above-mentioned time t1, due to the initial drive of the pressurized water supply pump 4, the wash water W, which is closed by the electromagnetic valve 3 in front of the wash water injection nozzle 1, is pressurized to a pressure P2 exceeding the predetermined injection pressure P1. When the electromagnetic valve 3 is opened from this state while continuing to drive the motor 8, the cleaning water W is jetted from the cleaning water injection nozzle 1 toward the head lamp L. Washing water W at this time
Since the water pressure in the ejection is at a pressure P2 that exceeds the pressure P1 of the pressurized water supply pump 4, the rise time t2 to reach the predetermined amount of water is extremely short, and the pressure P1 of the pressurized water supply pump 4 is maintained. Since the cleaning water injection method in the automotive headlamp cleaner according to the present invention is configured as described above, the cleaning water that has been pressurized to a predetermined pressure is injected from the cleaning water injection nozzle. The water pressure of the ejected cleaning water is maintained at a predetermined value for almost the entire time it is flowing out, eliminating unnecessary outflow, so it can be used especially when there is a limit to the amount of water that can be stored, such as in head lamp cleaners installed in automobiles. This method is useful for certain types of cleaning water, and the effects after implementation of the present invention are extremely large.
