の検出器5,6の作動による検出信号で機体7側
は給紙カセツトCの種別、即ち用紙サイズを認識

摺動しかつ前記縦摺動片と直交して配置され前記
用紙の横巾方向の大きさに夫々対応した位置に複
数の貫通孔が穿設された横摺動片とからなる横ガ
イドと、前記横巾方向に固定して取付けられ、前
記用紙の種類に対応して前記縦及び横摺動片の相
対移動により変化する前記貫通孔の同士の重なり
状態を検出する複数の検出手段とを含むことを特
