ハウジング1aに設けられたロツクアーム、4は
雄コネクタ2のハウジング2aに設けられたロツ
クアーム受けであり、両コネクタ1および2が完
全に嵌合されたときロツクアーム3とロツクアー
ム4とがロツクされるようになつている。そこで
従来はこのロツク時に発生するカチツという音あ
るいは感触を作業者の耳あるいは手によつて感知
したり結合状態を目で見てコネクタが完全に嵌合

で、コネクタの嵌合状態のチエツクを確実にでき
るようにすることを目的とし、このため、
複数の雌端子を備え、隣接する少なくとも一対
の雌端子にはそれぞれの端子自体の一部分をアー
ム状に形成して電気的接点を形成し、該両接点は
互いに電気的に接触しており、さらに、該電気的
接点が形成された前記隣接する一対の雌端子間に
溝を設けてなる第1のコネクタハウジングと、
該第1のコネクタハウジングと係合するもので
あつて、前記雌端子に係合する複数の雄端子を備
え、前記第1のコネクタハウジングに係合する場
合、前記溝に挿入されるものでかつ前記一対の雌
端子の電気的接点を解放する突起部を有する第2
のコネクタハウジングと、
前記一対の雌端子に接続され、前記一対の雌端
子が互いに電気的に接触している場合警報する警
報手段と、

た。図において、5はバツテリ、6はヒユーズ、
7はラジエータ内のエンジン冷却水の液量不足を
警報する警報ブザーであつて液量センサ8によつ
てオン、オフされる。9〜13は5個のコネクタ
のそれぞれに設けられた嵌合確認用の接点であ
り、全接点は警報ブザー7とアースとの間に並列
に接続されている。接点9〜13はコネクタが嵌
合されたときに開状態、嵌合されていないときは
閉状態であり、5個のコネクタのうち1個でも嵌
合されていなければ第1図の回路は閉じられ警報

雌コネクタ1,2が嵌合されていないときは第3
図イに示すように閉状態であるが、コネクタが所
定の位置で完全に嵌合されると壁4aによつて押
し開かれ開状態となる。なお第3図において14
aおよび17aはそれぞれ雌端子14および17
の接触部、16は雌コネクタ1のハウジング1a

れることにより手探りで嵌合することができ、ま
た前記溝に前記突起部が挿入されない限り、端子
自体をアーム状にした電気的接点は閉じたままで
あり、両コネクタハウジングの不完全嵌合を確実
に警報することができる効果がある。また、少な
くとも一対の雌端子はそれぞれの一部分をアーム
状にして電気的接点を形成し、不完全挿入状態を
検出する専用の端子を持つていないのでコネクタ
として無駄なスペースを必要としない効果があ
