If a failure occurs in which the air block control information, which is the information that instructs the air block control information, disappears, the telephone terminal that was usable before the failure occurs will become unusable until the correct air block control information is received again from the external device. There was a problem that made it possible.

To provide an initial setting method for a telephone exchange, which suppresses the state in which a telephone terminal cannot be used during a period of time to a short period of time, and prevents telephone terminal users from being affected by a failure of the telephone exchange.

When a failure that disappears occurs, the telephone exchange starts an initial setting operation for performing a failure recovery operation from an empty state indicating that the idle control information in the storage device can be used by the telephone terminal, Thereafter, the telephone exchange is initialized by inputting correct blockage control information again from the external device and storing it in the storage device to restore the original state.

FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a typical configuration of a telephone switching system implementing the present invention. In FIG. 1, CC is a central control unit of a telephone exchange, and carries out telephone exchange processing according to an exchange program stored in a storage device MM connected by an information signal bus BUS. That is,
The CC controls the exchange switch SW via the BUS according to the exchange program in the MM, and
Detects TEL outgoing requests and performs ringing and connection operations upon incoming calls. DC is a data communication device,
Connected to external device EU via communication line CL. The external device EU is in an empty state indicating whether it is possible to use the telephone terminal TEL housed in the telephone exchange (hereinafter referred to as the empty state) or in an impossible state (hereinafter referred to as the blocked state). A system for providing telephone exchange services only to telephone terminals TEL in which the telephone exchange is empty by transmitting the said idle control information to the telephone exchange by the means described in detail below. It is a control device, and is composed of, for example, a computer. In other words, EU connects CC and MM via CL-DC-BUS.
The CC is connected to and transmits and receives the air blockage control information, and the CC provides telephone exchange services based on this information. In the telephone exchange system shown in Figure 1, it is difficult to determine whether the telephone number is empty or blocked.
In accordance with EU instructions, telephone lines are closed during normal times. The air block control information sent from the EU is stored in the MM and held until new air block control information arrives, and the CC performs telephone exchange services in accordance with the held air block control information.

Or it displays whether it is in a blocked state. BIR has a value V for each telephone terminal TEL, and V indicates whether each TEL can be used (empty state or blocked state). In other words, if V is empty, TEL is usable, and if V is full, TEL is unusable.

However, as mentioned above, the TEL is normally blocked, and in order to empty the TEL according to instructions from the EU, the air block control information owned by the EU is sent via the CL-DC-BUS. The received data must be stored in the MM.

能であることを示している。 In conventional telephone exchanges, as shown in FIG. 3, the contents of the BIR are initially set in a blocked state during failure recovery processing. Figure 5 is a time chart showing the transition of the contents of the BIR in the conventional failure recovery process shown in Figure 3.The MM receives air blockage control information from the EU immediately before the failure occurs, causing the contents of the BIR to disappear. This figure shows the changes in the BIR contents, ie, BIR and V, until the BIR is accumulated and the correct contents are constructed, for a TEL that was in an empty state immediately before the failure occurred. As shown in Figure 5, in the conventional failure recovery process, the TEL, which was empty immediately before the failure, becomes blocked immediately before the failure occurs, and the period of time until the correct air blockage control information is sent from the EU. The time is
The content of BIR is blocked, indicating that TEL is unavailable.

For this reason, the TEL that was in an empty state immediately before the failure occurs, as shown in the time chart showing the transition of the contents of the BIR in the failure recovery process of the present invention shown in FIG.
Since the initial settings start from an empty state where TEL can be used, immediately before the failure occurs when the BIR contents disappear,
Until the MM receives and stores air block control information from the EU and composes a BIR with the correct content, it remains empty, indicating that the TEL is available.
That is, in FIG. 1, even if the contents of the table BIR disappear due to a failure in CC or MM, the failure will hardly affect the contents.

Since the initial settings are started from an empty state, the only effect on the telephone terminal user is recovery from failures of the telephone exchange, making it possible to realize an initial setting method for the telephone exchange that can significantly improve the telephone exchange system and its operating rate. There is an effect.
