For automobiles used for transporting heavy objects, it is important to design a substantially wide loading platform and a low loading platform. In particular, all automobiles, not to mention large trailers, are limited in their overall length, so it is difficult to shorten the overall length and create a structure that can carry large, heavy objects. A car with footboards has been developed (Jikkoaki
53-52166). The structure of this automobile is shown in FIG. An automobile with this structure supports a spline shaft 16 protruding from the rear end of the cargo platform. The tip of the footboard 2 is inserted into this spline shaft 16. The footboard 2 is inserted through the spline shaft 16 so that it does not rotate but can move in the axial direction. Spline shaft 1
When 6 is rotated, the footboard 2 is tilted. An arm 15 is fixed to the center of the spline shaft 16 and extends in the radial direction in order to tilt the footboard. A tilting cylinder 22 is provided at the tip of the arm 15.
The rods are connected. When the lock of the tilting cylinder 22 is expanded or contracted, the spline shaft 16 is rotated and the footboard 2 is tilted.

With this structure of footboards, it is necessary to adjust the distance between the footboards in accordance with the distance between the wheels of the heavy object to be mounted on the loading platform. To adjust the spacing of the treads, it is necessary to slide the heavy treads along the spline axis. By the way, among the heavy objects to be mounted on a loading platform, there is a self-propelled heavy object in which the distance between the front wheels and the distance between the rear wheels is different. After the front wheels of this heavy load cross the footboards and are placed on the loading platform, it is necessary to adjust the distance between the footboards to match the width of the rear wheels. With the footboard structure shown in FIG. 10, it is almost impossible to move the heavy footboard with one end in contact with the ground, and this type of vehicle cannot be easily placed on the cargo platform. In order to overcome this drawback, an automobile has been developed in which the footboards are moved along a spline axis using power (Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-3331). In addition to a drive cylinder for tilting the footboard, the automobile described in this publication is provided with a mechanism for moving the footboard along a spline axis, that is, a lateral drive means for the footboard, under the cargo platform. The lateral drive means for the footboard consists of a cylinder and a link connecting the rod of the cylinder to the footboard. An automobile having this structure can smoothly move the footboards by means of a lateral drive means. However, in an automobile having this structure, it is necessary to provide a mechanism for tilting the footboard and a mechanism for moving it laterally under the cargo platform. When two sets of drive mechanisms are disposed under the loading platform in this manner, a large storage space is required under the loading platform. Furthermore, since the two sets of drive mechanisms partially intersect under the loading platform, they must be arranged in two stages with vertical displacement, which increases the space for storing the drive mechanisms. If the drive mechanism becomes taller, it becomes difficult to design the loading platform lower, and the ground clearance of the loading platform becomes higher. The high loading platform is
When loading heavy objects, it is necessary to make the slope of the footboard steeper. Alternatively, there is a drawback that the total length of the footboard becomes longer. Furthermore, if the entire vehicle is tilted, the angle of inclination of the vehicle must be steep, making it difficult to safely load heavy objects. For this reason, it is extremely important to design the loading platform low. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 10, in a car that has footboards inserted through the spline shaft, the spline shaft protrudes rearward from the cargo bed, so the cargo bed is shortened by the length that the spline shaft projects from the cargo bed. There is a need to. This is because the overall length of the vehicle is limited. In particular, if the footboards are placed in a vertical position while the vehicle is running, heavy objects cannot be placed on the footboards. For this reason, it is necessary to place a heavy object in front of the footboard, which has the drawback of shortening the actual length of the loading platform. In order to prevent this drawback, the inventor of the present invention developed an automobile in which the tread consists of a lateral movement block and a tread body connected to the lateral movement block so that it can tilt. Publication No. 3035). This vehicle is provided with a lateral movement block along the rear edge of the cargo platform so as to be able to move laterally. By making the upper surface of the lateral moving block flush with the cargo platform, heavy objects can be placed on the lateral moving block when the vehicle is traveling. in this way,
Since heavy objects can be mounted on a portion of the footboard, the substantial overall length of the loading platform can be increased. However, in a car with this structure, the lateral movement block moves sideways along the cargo bed, so the footplate cannot be tilted by a single spline shaft, as shown in Figure 10, and the vehicle is heavy and long. The drawback was that the board could not be easily tilted. This invention was developed with the aim of eliminating these drawbacks of conventional automobiles. The important purpose of this invention is that although the distance between the footboards can be adjusted dynamically, There is no need to install a tilting cylinder under the footboard to tilt the footboard, and in addition, heavy objects can be placed on a part of the footboard while the footboard is upright, making it possible to free up the heavy load area of the cargo platform. To provide an automobile having an elongated footboard. Another important object of this invention is to provide an automobile having a footboard on which a heavy object can be easily and easily placed, with the front and rear wheels having different distances between the wheels.

However, the embodiment shown below is an example of an automobile to embody the technical idea of this invention, and the automobile of this invention has the material, shape, structure, arrangement, etc. of the component parts as shown below. It is not specific to The automobile of this invention can be modified without departing from the scope of the claims for utility model registration. Furthermore, in order to make it easier to understand the scope of claims for utility model registration, this specification includes numbers corresponding to the members shown in the examples in the column of ``Claims for Utility Model Registration'' and ``In order to solve the problem. Additional notes are added to the members shown in the "Means column" and the "Effect column." just,
The members shown in the claims of the utility model registration are by no means limited to the members of the embodiments. The automobile shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has a pair of footboards 2 disposed at the rear end of a loading platform 1 and located on the left and right sides of the vehicle body. The footboard 2 consists of a lateral movement block 3 and a footboard main body 4 which is tiltably connected to the rear end of the lateral movement block 3 via a rotating shaft 11. The lateral movement block 3 is made of metal having the strength to allow heavy loads to pass therethrough or to be able to carry heavy loads, and is provided with an upper surface 3A having a height equal to the upper surface of the loading platform and along the rear edge of the loading platform. Vertical surface 6 of stepped portion 6
It is formed into a hollow box shape having a front surface 3B facing A and a bottom surface 3C facing the floor surface 6B of the stepped portion 6. The lateral movement block 3 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 has a top surface 3A flush with the top surface of the loading platform 1, a front surface 3B close to the vertical surface 6A of the stepped portion 6, and a bottom surface 3C positioned on the floor surface of the stepped portion 6. It has a box shape that slides onto the 6B. The rear side of the lateral movement block 3 is open for allowing the tilting cylinder 5 to protrude. The box-shaped lateral movement block 3 shown in the figure is produced, for example, by cutting and removing the inside of a rectangular metal block to form a box shape, or by casting metal into a box shape, or by manufacturing it by forming a metal block into a box shape. It can be manufactured by cutting metal plates into shapes and welding them into a box shape. The box-shaped lateral movement block 3 has a tilting cylinder 5 built therein. The tilting cylinder 5 extends and contracts the rod to tilt the footboard body 4. The tilting cylinder 5, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3,
The rear end is connected to the bottom surface 3C of the lateral movement block 3 via a rear end pin 24 so as to be rotatable within a vertical plane. A vertical plate 25 is fixed to the bottom surface of the lateral movement block 3 in order to connect the tilting cylinder 5 by inserting the rear end pin 24 therethrough. Rear end pin 24
is the vertical plate 25 fixed to the lateral movement block 3.
and a connecting plate protruding from the rear end of the tilting cylinder 3 to connect the tilting cylinder 5 to the lateral movement block 3 in a freely tiltable manner. The rear end pin 24 and the vertical plate 25 have sufficient strength to extend and contract the tilting cylinder 5 and tilt the footboard body 4. Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the rod tip of the tilting cylinder 3 is spaced apart from the rotating shaft 11 and connected to the lower part of the footboard body 4 via a tip pin 23. The footboard main body 4 is connected to the tilting cylinder 5 in order to connect the tip of the rod of the tilting cylinder 5 to the inside.
The part through which the rod is inserted is hollow. The rod of the tilting cylinder 5 is rotatably connected to the side plate of the footboard body 4 formed in a hollow shape via a tip pin 23. Tip pin 23 and this tip pin 2
The side plates of the footboard body connecting the footboards 3 are designed to have sufficient strength to allow the footboard foot body 4 to be tilted by expanding and contracting the rod of the tilting cylinder 5. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, side plates 10 are fixed to both sides of the lateral movement block 3, projecting rearward and connecting the footboard body 4. As shown in FIG. 3, the side plate 10 is arranged in a manner similar to that shown in FIGS.
As shown in the figure, it is fixed to the upper part of the lateral movement block 3. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 1, the side plates 10 are located on both sides of the footboard main body 4, and
Both ends of a rotating shaft 11 passing through the shaft are fixed. The rotating shaft 11 rotatably passes through the tip of the footboard body 4. The footboard body 4 is connected to the lateral movement block 3 via a rotation axis 11 so as to be rotatable in a vertical plane. The side plates 10 vertically fixed on both sides of the lateral movement block 3 have sufficient strength against the load of the footboard body 4 acting in the vertical direction.
The footboard main body 4 can be firmly connected to the lateral movement block 3. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the cargo bed 1 of the automobile is provided with a stepped portion 6 along the rear edge for moving the lateral movement block 3 in the lateral direction. The step portion 6 is formed lower than the upper surface of the loading platform 1. The stepped portion 6 allows heavy items to be loaded on the lateral movement block 3 disposed here, so the loading platform 1
It is formed by lowering a portion of the rear edge of the The stepped portion 6 connects the upper surface of the lateral movement block 3 to the loading platform 1.
In order to be flush with the top surface, the bottom surface 6B is made lower than the top surface of the loading platform 1 by the height of the lateral movement block 3. The front edge of the bottom surface 6B is fixed to the top surface of the loading platform 1 via the vertical surface 6A, and the stepped portion 6 is formed along the rear edge of the loading platform 1 between the vertical surface 6A and the bottom surface 6B.
has been established. As shown in FIG. 2, the width of the stepped portion 6 is made wider than the longitudinal width of the lateral movement block 3 so that the amount of protrusion from the loading platform 1 is as small as possible when the footboard body 4 is in an upright position. has been done. The lateral movement block 3 can move in the lateral direction of the loading platform along the step 6, but is disposed on the step 6 so that it does not rotate in the vertical plane when the footboard main body 4 is tilted. Ru. In order to prevent rotation of the lateral movement block 3 in the vertical plane, the lateral movement block 3
is arranged on the stepped portion 6 via a rotation prevention guide. As the rotation prevention guide of the lateral movement block 3, any mechanism that prevents the rotation of the lateral movement block 3 in a vertical plane can be used. The rotation prevention guide shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is composed of a vertical shaft 12 fixed to the lower surface of the lateral movement block 3, and a slit 13 that guides and slides the vertical shaft 12. The slit 13 is provided on the bottom surface 6B of the stepped portion 6 so as to extend laterally. The vertical shaft 12 is formed to be slightly wider than the thickness of the vertical shaft 12 so that it can slide smoothly along the slit 13 with little play. The vertical shaft 12 passes through the slit 13 and penetrates the bottom surface of the stepped portion 6, and a collar is fixed to the lower end of the vertical shaft 12 passing through the bottom surface. The tsuba is wider than the width of the slit 13, and the vertical axis 12 is connected to the slit 1.
Prevent from getting out of 3. The position of the vertical axis 12 in the slot 13 prevents rotation of the lateral movement block 3 in the vertical plane. When the lateral movement block 3 moves along the step 6, the vertical axis 1
2 moves along the slit 13. Further, in the lateral movement block 3 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the front surface 3B is brought close to the vertical surface 6A of the stepped portion 6, thereby preventing rotation of the lateral movement block 3 in the horizontal plane. Therefore, the lateral movement block 3 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is moved in the lateral direction of the loading platform 1 along the stepped portion 6 without rotating in the vertical and horizontal planes. Furthermore, the lateral movement block 3 is laterally moved along the step 6 by the lateral drive means 7. The lateral drive means 7 shown in FIG. 1 is composed of a link 9 and a cylinder 8 that drives the link 9. The link 9 consists of two rotating links 9A and connecting rods 9B. The two rotation links 9A are
It is disposed horizontally on the lower surface of the loading platform 1 via a pivot shaft 14 so as to be rotatable in a horizontal plane. The rotation link 9A passes through a horizontal slit 27 provided in the vertical surface 6A and projects to the stepped portion 6. The end of the rotary link 9A protruding from the stepped portion 6 is connected to the lateral movement block 3 by being inserted into a recess provided in the front surface 3B. When the rotation link 9A is rotated, it moves the lateral movement block 3 laterally along the stepped portion 6. In FIG. 1, the upper rotation link 9A is
The left end is connected to the rod of cylinder 8. The rear end of the cylinder 8 is attached to a vertical axis 26 on the lower surface of the loading platform 1.
It is rotatably connected via the. cylinder 8
When the rod is expanded or contracted, the lower rotation link 9B in FIG. 1 rotates in the opposite direction to the upper rotation link 9A. This is because the lateral movement blocks 3 disposed on both sides of the loading platform are moved in opposite directions. Two rotating links 9
A connects the opposite side of the pivot 14 via connecting rod 9B. In FIG. 1, the upper pivot link 9A rotatably connects the right side of the pivot 14 to the end of the connecting rod 9B, and the lower pivot link 9A rotatably connects the left side of the pivot 14 to the end of the connecting rod 9B. The two rotary links 9A connected via the conrod 9B in this way are such that when the upper rotary link 9A is rotated by the cylinder 8, the lower rotary link 9A is rotated in the opposite direction via the conrod 9B. rotated in the direction Therefore, the cooking rod 9B is
The two rotation links 9A are rotated in conjunction with each other in opposite directions. The lateral drive means 7 with this structure operates as follows.
Adjust the interval between the footboards 2. When the rod of the cylinder 8 is pushed out, the upper rotation link 9A is rotated to the right and the lower rotation link 9A is rotated to the left in FIG. When the two rotation links 9A are rotated in this direction, the pair of lateral movement blocks 3 move toward each other along the stepped portion 6. Footboard body 4 connected to lateral movement block 3
are moved in the direction of narrowing the distance from each other. On the contrary, when the rod of the cylinder 8 is retracted, the upper rotation link 9A is rotated to the left in FIG. 1, and the lower rotation link 9A is rotated to the left.
is rotated to the right. Therefore, the lateral movement block 3
The footboard bodies 4 move away from each other along the path, and the distance between the footboard bodies 4 becomes wider. The lateral drive means 7 having this structure moves the lateral movement block 3 along the stepped portion 6 via the rotation link 9A and connecting rod 9B. The lateral drive means 7 having this structure can move the pair of lateral movement blocks 3 along the stepped portion 6 using one cylinder 8. However, this idea differs from the structure of the lateral drive means in Figures 1 to 3.
Not specific to the structure shown in the figure. As the lateral drive means, any mechanism capable of moving the lateral movement block along the stepped portion can be used. The footboard 2 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 is used in the following conditions. In normal running conditions when the footboard 2 is not used, the rod of the tilting cylinder 5 is pushed out and the footboard main body 4 is erected, as shown in FIG. When loading or unloading a heavy object onto the loading platform 1, the rod of the tilting cylinder 5 is pulled in to make the footboard body 4 horizontal, as shown in FIG. Footboard body 4
With the footboard body 4 in a horizontal position or with the footboard body 4 standing upright, the rod of the cylinder 8 is expanded and contracted to adjust the interval between the footboard body 4 to be equal to the wheel interval of the heavy object. With the footboard main body 4 laid down horizontally, the automobile lifts the front part of the cargo platform 1 and brings the rear end of the footboard main body 4 into contact with the ground. In this state, heavy objects are loaded onto and unloaded from the loading platform 1.
As shown in FIG. 3, in an automobile that is used with the footboard body 4 laid horizontally with respect to the loading platform 1, the rear end of the footboard 2 cannot touch the ground when the loading platform 1 is horizontal. Therefore, in an automobile in which the footboard 2 is used with the footboard 2 tilted to the position shown in FIG. 3, it is necessary to lift the front part of the cargo platform and the driver's seat together with a jack when using the footboard. For this purpose, this automobile is equipped with a lifting jack 28 in the front part of the cargo platform, as shown in FIG. Figures 5 through 9 illustrate the construction of footboards that can be conveniently mounted on large trailers. As shown in Fig. 5, a large trailer has wheels 21 at the rear end.
Therefore, the lateral drive means 7 having the structure shown in FIG.
is difficult to install. The lateral drive means 7 shown in FIGS. 5 and 7 includes a threaded rod 18 disposed below the loading platform 1 to extend horizontally and a drive for rotating the threaded rod 18 in forward and reverse directions. It includes a motor 19 and a nut 17 screwed into a threaded rod 18. The lateral movement block shown in these figures is a rotation prevention guide having the same structure as the lateral movement block shown in Figs. 1 to 3, and is moved along a step while preventing rotation in a vertical plane. . That is, the vertical shaft 12 attached to the lower surface of the lateral movement block 3
The slit 13 through which the vertical shaft 12 is inserted and slid prevents the lateral movement block from rotating in the vertical plane. Further, the lateral movement block 3 shown in these figures is moved along the stepped portion 6 via a vertical shaft 12 projecting from the lower surface, as shown in FIG. The vertical shaft 12 is connected to a nut 17 for rotation in a horizontal plane. The lateral movement block 3 can rotate the footboard body 4 in a horizontal plane as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, and can also stop in a position parallel to the loading platform as shown in FIG. can. In order to stop the rotation of the lateral movement block 3 in the horizontal plane, a guide pin 2 is provided on the side surface of the lateral movement block 3, as shown in FIG.
0 can be inserted and removed freely. Guide pin 2
0 perpendicularly penetrates a protrusion provided on the side surface of the lateral moving block 3 and inserts the lower end into the slit 13 to control the rotation in the horizontal plane of the lateral moving block 3 that moves laterally along the stepped portion 6. prevent. When rotating the lateral movement block 3 in a horizontal plane, the guide pin 20 is removed, and the footboard body 4 is rotated and placed on the loading platform 1 for storage as shown in FIG. 8 or 9. To adjust the interval between the footboard bodies 4, the threaded rod 18 is rotated by the drive motor 19. When the threaded rod 18 is rotated, the nuts 17 are moved in opposite directions along the threaded rod 18, and the footboard bodies 4 are moved closer together or separated to adjust the spacing. The threaded rod 18 is provided with male screws with opposite pitches with the center as a boundary so that the nuts 17 screwed into the rod move in opposite directions when rotated. The drive motor 19 rotates forward or backward to move the lateral movement block 3 toward or away from the block.

The vehicle having footboards of this invention has a pair of footboards consisting of a lateral moving block and a tread body connected so as to be tiltable with respect to the lateral moving block, and the lateral moving block is connected to the rear end of the loading platform. It is disposed on the edge so that it can move along the stepped portion, and a tilting cylinder for tilting the footboard body is built into this lateral movement block. A car with this structure has a tilting cylinder that tilts the footboards, as in the past.
There is no need to install it under the cargo bed. This is because the tilting cylinder is built into the lateral movement block. In an automobile having this structure, a step portion lower than the cargo bed is provided along the rear edge of the cargo bed, and a lateral movement block is disposed on this step portion, so that the footboard body can be tilted dynamically. In particular, although the vehicle of this invention dynamically tilts the footboard body, unlike conventional vehicles, there is no need to dispose a tilting cylinder under the cargo platform. The tilting cylinder built into the lateral movement block that moves over the stepped portion of the loading platform does not protrude downward from the stepped portion provided on the loading platform, and has the feature that the tilting cylinder can be compactly stored in the lateral moving block. For this reason, the automobile of this invention does not require a mechanism for tilting the footboards and a mechanism for adjusting the interval between the footboards to be provided under the cargo bed, as in the conventional case. In this case, it is only necessary to provide a lateral drive means for moving the footboard in the lateral direction. When a mechanism for driving the footboard laterally and tilting it is built into the bottom of the cargo bed like in a conventional car, these mechanisms are placed vertically offset so that their movements do not interfere with each other. This required the drive mechanism to be higher and the loading platform to be higher. However, in the automobile of this invention, it is only necessary to provide a lateral drive means for moving the footplate laterally along the step, and there is no need to provide a mechanism for tilting the footplate. . Therefore, in the automobile of this invention, there is no need to provide a mechanism for tilting the footplates under the cargo platform, and the cargo platform can be designed to be low. Furthermore, the automobile of this invention has the feature that the footboard is divided into a lateral moving block and a footboard main body which are connected so as to be able to bend each other, and the footboard main body can be tilted dynamically. This is because the lateral movement block has a built-in tilting cylinder. Therefore, the automobile of this invention has the feature that a heavy object can be mounted on a part of the footboard and the footboard itself can be tilted. Furthermore, in the automobile of this invention, the footboard body is driven by separate cylinders, so the tilting cylinder can be downsized and incorporated into the lateral movement block with a simple mechanism. Furthermore, since the pair of footboard bodies are tilted independently using separate drive cylinders, even if the pair of footboard bodies come into contact with the ground with a difference in height and the tilting angles are uneven, each footboard body can be tilted independently. It has the feature that it can be tilted to match the difference in ground level, allowing heavy objects to be loaded and unloaded without difficulty. Conventional automobiles that tilt by inserting two footboards into a single spline shaft cannot adjust the tilting angles of the two footboards independently, and if the tilting angles become uneven, the footboard and spline shaft may become distorted. Unreasonable force was applied. However, in the car of this invention, the pair of footboards can be tilted separately if necessary, and this structure has the advantage that both footboards can be tilted freely according to the difference in height of the ground. . In addition, since the vehicle of this invention has a lateral movement block located at the step, even if the cargo platform is tilted until the rear end approaches the ground, the spline shaft or this The arm that drives the spline shaft does not break down when it hits the ground, so it operates reliably and can be used with minimal breakdowns. Furthermore, in the vehicle of this invention, a lateral moving block, which is a part of the footboard, is arranged on the step on the top surface of the cargo platform, and heavy objects can be placed on the lateral moving block while the footboard body is upright. Furthermore, unlike in conventional automobiles, the arm of the spline shaft does not protrude from the loading platform, so the area on which heavy objects can be placed can be made longer. This is particularly important for large vehicles, which have limited overall length. This is because large vehicles require the cargo bed to be as long as possible in order to transport large, heavy objects, but since the overall length of the vehicle is limited by law, it is difficult to carry all the heavy objects stably. The reality is that it is not made to a sufficient length. For example, the trailer shown in Figure 4 has a total length of
Although it is limited to within 12m, the part that connects to the tow vehicle is required at the front, and the wheels and footboard are required at the rear.
The actual situation is that the length of the loading platform, which is slightly lowered in the center where heavy objects are placed, is actually limited to 5.5 m. If the structure of the footboard could be changed to make the loading platform longer, even by 40 cm, it would be possible to create a car that would be extremely convenient and would allow heavy objects to be stably loaded. Conventional footboards protrude from the loading platform by approximately 45cm, so if the footboard of this invention can extend the loading platform length even a little, it will make designing the loading platform extremely easy and make it convenient to use. be.
