As disclosed in the above publication, many of them are directly mounted and fixed on the base frame of the equipment. By the way, this battery is generally stored in a narrow space surrounded by the engine body, generator, muffler, etc. During regular inspections, check the amount of water loss in the electrolyte of this battery. It is difficult to replenish the electrolyte or measure the specific gravity of the electrolyte.

る。 In order to deal with this, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-27482 makes it possible to pull out the stand on which the battery is placed on the front of the battery storage box, and further provides a cart on the front of the battery storage box to place the pulled-out stand. It has a structure that allows it to move in a direction perpendicular to the direction of movement of the pedestal. However, in order to expose the battery outside the equipment frame during maintenance and inspection of the battery, pull out the pedestal on which the heavy battery is placed from the battery storage box, place the pedestal on which the battery is placed on a trolley, and then The problem is that the cart must be moved, resulting in poor workability, and that a large number of bearings are required to reduce sliding resistance when moving the cart, resulting in a large number of parts.

When a battery is exposed outside the equipment frame during periodic inspections, there is no need to hold the battery, improving work efficiency, and reducing the amount of electrolyte. Not only can specific gravity measurements and water replenishment be easily performed, but batteries can also be easily replaced, and in normal conditions, batteries can be stored in a narrow space without protruding from the equipment frame. It is an object of the present invention to provide a battery fixing device for an engine that can be applied even when the battery is disposed below and there is no space below.
