The Ministry of Health and Welfare instructs people to incinerate and dispose of used syringes. Some hospitals set up incineration facilities and dispose of the waste on their own, but a survey by the Ministry of Health and Welfare found that due to problems such as pollution and locational issues, many hospitals ask cleaning bureaus or contractors to dispose of the waste. There are many cases of syringes being thrown away, and there are also many cases of large numbers of syringes being piled up in the open at disposal sites, and there is a high possibility of secondary infection among those involved in handling them. Recently, this issue has received international attention.

There is a syringe dry heat sterilization box that houses and heats syringes in order to sterilize them immediately after use and completely prevent infection. However, when attempting to sterilize the syringe by heating, the syringe is heated inside the box, which causes the blood adhering to the syringe to gasify and emit a foul odor, which is unbearable for nurses, doctors, and other medical personnel who handle the syringe. It is something.

"Example" Figure 1 shows a syringe dry heat sterilization box. This syringe dry heat sterilization box includes a disposable pot 1 that accommodates a syringe, a heating device 2 that accommodates and heats the disposable pot 1, a box 3 that accommodates the heating device 2, and an opening of the box 3 that opens and closes. It consists of a lid 4, a device for removing the injection needle (not shown), and the like. A syringe consists of a needle and a syringe barrel, but this syringe dry heat sterilization box is
This includes not only those in which the needle is removed and stored after use, but also those in which the syringe is stored and sterilized by dry heat.

Put the injection needle (or syringe) into the disposable pot 1 of this syringe dry heat sterilization box, cover the lid 4, and sterilize by heating at a temperature of 135℃ or higher using the heating device 2.
Heat at below 400℃. In particular, a temperature of about 180℃ is desirable. Further, the pyrolysis deodorizer 11 is also energized to cause the nichrome wire 14 to generate heat. Then, the blood adhering to the injection needle (or syringe) is gasified and malodorous gas is generated, which is thermally decomposed while flowing into the heating channels 13, 13. When the temperature of the heating channels 13, 13 is 600° C. or higher, thermal decomposition occurs. In addition, since the heating channels 13, 13 are formed in the porous body 12, as the gas passes, outside air flows into the heating channels 13, 13 through the holes of the porous body 12, and removes malodorous gas. It oxidizes and thermally decomposes malodorous gases, eliminating the malodor.

The heating flow passage 13 may be provided not only with the nichrome wire 14 passing through it, but also with a through hole drilled therein. The malodorous gas passing through the through hole is also heated in the same manner.

When the pyrolysis deodorizer 11 is protruded and installed in the syringe dry heat sterilization box, the generated malodorous gas can be suctioned and discharged by the chimney effect. The pyrolytic deodorizer 11 can be provided not only on the lid 4 as shown in the figure, but also on the side of the box 3, or embedded in the inner wall of the box 3.

Furthermore, by providing a platinum catalyst in the middle or at the outlet of the heating channel 13, the effect of removing bad odor can be promoted.

The above mentioned a pyrolysis deodorizer as an escape means, but deodorizing means such as activated carbon, a laminated filter, a porous unglazed body, dry-distilled green tea ingredients, and natural plant deodorizing ingredients are installed in the openings of the box 3 and lid 4. You can.

``Effects of the invention'' As described above, this invention has a dry heat sterilization box in which a used needle or syringe is placed, sealed and heated, and a system that receives and releases foul-smelling gas generated within the dry heat sterilization box. This syringe dry heat sterilization box is equipped with a porous body having a passage with its outer surface exposed to the atmosphere, and a heating element is provided in the heating passage. Malodorous gases generated during heat treatment can be thermally decomposed and removed. Furthermore, since deodorization can be performed simply by using a heater, the deodorization device can be provided at a relatively low cost. In addition, in the present invention, since the outer surface of the porous body having a flow path for receiving and discharging foul-smelling gas is exposed to the atmosphere, as the gas passes through the flow path, the outside air passes through the pores of the porous body. Since the malodorous gas is oxidized and thermally decomposed to eliminate the malodor, no special equipment is required for decomposing the malodor.
