JP-A-54-47776 describes a laminated film in which both outer layers are composed of hydrophobic resin layers, and the intermediate layer is composed of a polyamide resin and a saponified ethylene-acetate-vinyl copolymer layer. Among them, in addition to polyolefin, many other hydrophobic resins can be used, including ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ionomer resin, and modified polyolefin resin that has adhesive properties, and it is difficult for each layer to adhere directly. It is explained that in some cases, a modified polyolefin resin or the like may be interposed as an adhesive layer. However, this publication only states that nylon 6, 66, 10 and their copolymers can be used as polyamide resins, and since hydrophobic resins are widely used, the resulting laminated film is susceptible to water vapor and The oxygen permeability was not always sufficiently low. In addition, laminated films can be used for packaging such as vacuum packaging and fragrance packaging, but because they lack consideration for the thickness of each layer,
It was not suitable as a material for molding containers.

Utility Application No. 54-84841 (Utility Application No. 56-3637)
Microfilm also describes almost the same thing as JP-A-54-47776. That is, this microfilm teaches that a sealing resin layer, a polyolefin resin adhesive layer, a saponified ethylene-acetate-vinyl copolymer layer, a polyamide resin layer, a polyolefin resin adhesive layer, and a polypropylene resin layer are laminated in this order. describes that the obtained laminated film has excellent barrier properties, can be sterilized by boiling, and is suitable for packaging. However, it is merely explained that nylon 6 and nylon 66 can be used as the polyamide resin. For this,
The obtained laminated film could not sufficiently reduce the permeability of moisture and oxygen, and since the thickness of each layer was not taken into account, it was not suitable for being directly formed into a container.

On the other hand, "Polyamide Resin Handbook" edited by Osamu Fukumoto and published by Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, on pages 411 to 432, introduces polyamide resin made of metaxylylene diamine and dibasic acid, and that this polyamide resin is used as a gas barrier. The company explains that it has excellent properties and can be laminated and used as a packaging film. However, this book also does not teach how to use this polyamide resin to mold it into food containers.

Containers suitable for storing and selling ready-to-eat foods need to have low permeability to water vapor and oxygen. However, that alone is not enough. For example, it is easy to form into a container shape, once formed, it retains its shape without peeling, it is not toxic even if it comes into contact with food, and its mouth can be easily sealed. Many things were required, such as being able to open the device easily when needed. Furthermore, it was also required to withstand heat sterilization using water vapor. Resistance to heat sterilization is closely related to heat resistance, which is seemingly contradictory to ease of molding.
Therefore, it has not been easy to obtain food containers that satisfy these properties.

(Means for Solving the Problems) Among polyamide resins, the present invention uses a film of polyamide resin (hereinafter referred to as MX) obtained by polycondensation reaction of metaxylylene diamine and adipic acid. The main idea is to use a film of a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol (hereinafter referred to as EVOH), and to use these films in a superimposed manner. MX has the disadvantage of being hygroscopic and therefore has a high water vapor permeability, but has the advantage of having a low oxygen permeability, especially at high temperatures. EVOH also has the disadvantage of high water vapor permeability, but has the advantage of low oxygen permeability, especially at room temperature. Therefore, when MX and EVOH are combined, they exhibit the advantage of low oxygen permeability at both high and low temperatures, but have the disadvantage of high water vapor permeability.

However, it was discovered that the drawback of high water vapor permeability could be solved by sandwiching an MX film and an EVOH film in between and laminating polyolefin (hereinafter referred to as PO) films on both sides. . Also, since MX and PO do not directly adhere to each other, nor do EVOH and PO, they cannot be directly bonded together. Copolymer of ethylene and unsaturated carboxylic acid (hereinafter referred to as EM)
It has been found that the presence of a bond between the two molecules leads to their adhesion to each other. Furthermore, the laminated film obtained by adhering in this way has a thickness of 10
~500 microns, and the thickness of the MX film
The thickness of the EVOH film should be 10 to 100 microns.
The thickness of the EM film is 10 to 100 microns.
~50 microns and the total thickness of the PO film is 2/5 to 9/10 of the total thickness of the film, it can be easily molded, has great shape stability, and can withstand heat sterilization. It has been found that this material is suitable as a food container. This invention was made based on such knowledge.

The thickness of this laminated film is set in the following range. The MX film 1 has a thickness of 10 to 100 microns. The EVOH film 2 has a thickness of 10 to 100 microns. EM film 3 is MX film 1 or
It is only used to bond EVOH film 2 and PO film 4 or 5.
Its thickness can be as thin as 10 to 50 microns. The PO film 4 or 5 usually has the same thickness, and the thickness of each is 10 to 10.
It is said to be 500 microns. Therefore, the total thickness of the laminated film is 60 to 1300 microns.

The reason why MX film 1 is set to 10 to 100 microns is that when MX is sandwiched between PO, even a small thickness can sufficiently prevent oxygen from permeating, so it is necessary to set the thickness to 100 microns or more. On the other hand, it is difficult to produce a thin film with a thickness of 10 microns or less.

The reason why the EVOH film 2 is set to 10 to 100 microns is the same as the reason why the MX film is limited. In other words, if EVOH is sandwiched between PO, even a small thickness can sufficiently prevent oxygen permeation, so there is no need to make it thicker than 100 microns. This is because it is difficult to make one with a small thickness.

The reason why the thickness of the PO films 4 and 5 is set to 10 to 500 microns is that because the EM film 3 is adjacent to the PO film, even if the thickness is small, the PO film exhibits the ability to prevent moisture from permeating. ,Ten
This is because it has been found that a thickness as small as microns may be sufficient. Furthermore, if the thickness of the PO film is increased to 500 microns or more, not only will it be difficult to form it into a container, but if it is thicker than that, there is no commensurate advantage.

The relative thicknesses of these films are as follows. The MX film 1 has a thickness of 1/5 to 1/50 of the total thickness of the laminated film. Further, the EVOH film 2 has a thickness of 1/5 to 1/50 of the total thickness of the laminated film.
The MX film 1 and the EVOH film 2 may have different thicknesses, but it is desirable that they have the same thickness. As mentioned above, the EM film 3 only serves to bond PO and MX or EVOH, so there is no particular limitation on its thickness; It is said to be around 1/10 to 1/50. Additionally, the PO films 4 and 5 are usually of equal thickness, and their total thickness is:
The thickness is approximately two-fifths to nine-tenths of the total thickness of the laminated film.

The resin constituting the EVOH film 2 is a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol. A preferred copolymer is one in which ethylene accounts for 30 to 60 mole percent and vinyl alcohol accounts for 70 to 40 mole percent. EVOH is made from a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl acetate by saponifying the vinyl acetate in it, so it usually contains less than a few percent of vinyl acetate. used in this invention
It is desirable that the EVOH contains as little vinyl acetate as possible.

A laminated film can be easily formed into a cup by heating the laminated film to soften it and pressing it against a cup-shaped mold using mechanical or pneumatic force. Furthermore, if the laminated film has just been made by extrusion, it will have softened, so it can be more easily formed into a cup by immediately pressing it into a mold without heating it.

In addition, the laminated film is MX film and
Since the structure consists of a bonded film with an EVOH film and a PO film on the surface, both MX film and EVOH film have the disadvantage of high hygroscopicity, but due to the PO film on both sides. As a result, moisture is blocked, resulting in a low moisture permeability as a whole. Additionally, PO film has the drawback of high oxygen permeability, but this drawback is compensated for by MX film and EVOH film, both of which have low oxygen permeability, resulting in a low oxygen permeability as a whole. In particular, MX film has low oxygen permeability at high temperatures, and EVOH has low oxygen permeability at room temperature, so by bonding both films together, a film with low oxygen permeability over a wide temperature range can be created. Therefore, it is suitable for storing food.

Until now, it has been used as a resin with low oxygen permeability.
EVOH has been used, but EVOH has the property that its oxygen permeability increases rapidly when the temperature reaches a high temperature of around 100°C. Therefore, it allows oxygen to pass through during boiling or retort sterilization, and as a result, food It became necessary to oxidize it. However, since the laminated film according to the present invention includes an MX film in addition to the EVOH film, it has low oxygen permeability even at high temperatures around 100°C, and is therefore suitable for steam sterilization or retort sterilization. It is becoming.

Further, the laminated film according to the present invention has
Because the PO film is located there is no risk of contaminating food even if it comes into direct contact with food, making it suitable for use as food storage containers. Furthermore, since the surface is a PO film, if the same laminated film or another PO film is layered on this surface and heated, it can be easily fused, and therefore it can be easily processed into bags by heat sealing. You can also close your mouth.

Furthermore, the laminated film according to the present invention is made entirely of thermoplastic resin, and the MX film has a thickness of 10 to 100 microns, the EVOH film has a thickness of 10 to 100 microns, and the EM film has a thickness of 10 to 100 microns.
10 to 50 microns, and the thickness of the PO film is 10 to 50 microns.
Since the thickness is 500 microns, the overall thickness is suitable for constructing a food container, and it is easy to handle, has good shape stability, has sufficient barrier properties, and is transparent or translucent and beautiful. On top of that, a PO film is located on the surface, and PO
The total thickness of the film is 5 of the total thickness of the film.
Since it is 2/9 to 9/10, it may be true.
It can be easily formed into a container shape like a film made of PO film alone, and its shape is stable. In this way, the laminated film of this invention
It brings many advantages.
