つた。 However, since the electron tube has an exhaust hole in the plane of the flat glass, it is necessary to make holes in the glass plate using an ultrasonic cutter or the like, resulting in poor productivity and high cost. Furthermore, when applied to a flat fluorescent lamp, there is a drawback that the effective light emitting area becomes narrow.

are a pair of flat glasses, and 3, 4, . . . are thin plate-shaped spacer glasses that maintain a predetermined distance between the pair of flat glasses, and these constitute the container 5. The spacer glasses 3, 3 on one side of the container 5 are divided into two parts facing each other with a predetermined interval, and an exhaust hole 6 is formed in the center. 7
A circular lid member is welded and closed from the outside of the exhaust hole 6 by frit glass 8, and is made of an alloy or the like having substantially the same coefficient of expansion as glass.
