本考案は、湯水等の流体給口にプラスチツク管
を接続するために用いる継手装置に関する。

く継手本体1に流体の供給口側に螺着する雄ネジ

連通状態に設け、雄ネジ口3には、その奥部に形
成されている肩部3aに対向する鍔部4aを先端
部に設けたインナーコア4を挿入すると共に、こ
のインナーコア4上にプラスチツク管pを挿着
し、プラスチツク管p上に締め付けリング5を嵌
合して、この締め付けリング5を雄ネジ口3に螺
着した袋ナツト6によつて該雄ネジ口3内に締め
付け、プラスチツク管pを継手本体1に接続でき
るようにした構造のものが知られている。

の締め付けを緩める方向に働いて、プラスチツク
管がインナーコアに十分に嵌着されず、漏水の原
因になるといつた問題もある。
本考案は上記の問題を解決すべくなされたもの
であつて、その目的は袋ナツトによつて締め付け
リングを締め付け、プラスチツク管を流体供給口
側に接続するに当つて、該プラスチツク管に捩じ
れを生じさせないようにすると共に、接続後の点
検時における接続状態の確認に便利であるように
改良したプラスチツク管の継手装置を提供するこ
とにある。

て上記締め付けリングを締め付ける袋ナツトとを
備えたプラスチツク管の継手装置において、イン
ナーコアを雄ネジ管と一体化して該雄ネジ管の端
面部に突設し、この端面部と該端面部に対向する
締め付けリングの口部には、雄ネジ管と締め付け
リングとの相対的回転ができないように、互いに
係合できるようにした雌雄の係合部を設けて、雄
係合部の長さを雌係合部の深さより長く形成して
成るものである。

管13の端面部13aには、該雄ネジ管13と一
体化してインナーコア14が同心的に突設されて
いる。
一方、インナーコア14に嵌着するプラスチツ
ク管p上には締め付けリング15を嵌着し、この
締め付けリング15は上記雄ネジ管13に螺合さ
せた袋ナツト16の締め付けによつて雄ネジ管1
3の端面部13aと接合する。また、雄ネジ管1
3の端面部13aには該端面部13aの周縁の一
部を切欠いて形成した係合部(雌係合部として機
能している面取部)17を設ける一方、端面部1
3aと対向する締め付けリング15の口部15a
には上記係合部17と対応させた状態で該係合部
17に係止できる係合部18を設けてあり、この
両係合部17,18によつて、雄ネジ管13と締
め付けリング15は相対的回転ができない仕組に
なつている。図示の場合、雄係合部として機能し
ている係合部18は、締め付けリング15の口部
15aに上記係合部17に係止できる係止片を相
対向させて設けることにより形成されているが、
これは係合部17を含めて図示形態のものに限定
されないことは勿論である。そして、雌雄の関係
にある両係合部17,18のうちの雄係合部(図
示の場合は係合部18)の長さを雌係合(図示の
場合は係合部17)の深さより長く形成し、プラ
スチツク管pの接続完了時に雄ネジ管13の端面
部13aと締め付けリング15の口部15aとの
間に若干の間隙を形成できるようにして本考案を
実施する。
