とがある。このような支障の出る原因はいくつか
あるが、先ず第1には、玄米はその表面にロウ質
の油脂分を含有していて、この油脂分が熱を受け
て解け出し、微小塵埃を吸着して、送穀螺施の谷
を埋めてしまう、いわゆる垢付きが発生すること
である。そして、第2には、玄米中に穀蛾などが
繁殖し、その分泌物で米粒が結着している場合で
あり、この時も送穀螺旋による送りが米粒に充分
に作用せず、送りが不安定になる。

く微量の糠と共に剥がされる。このように前処理
の加えられた米粒は次に送穀部に送られる。送穀
部では送穀螺旋の回転による送りが加えられる
が、米粒には前処理が施されているので、螺旋に
よる送穀作用を受け易く、米粒は確実に精白部へ
と送られる。精白部では摩擦式により米粒に搗精
が加えられ、精白米に仕上げられる。

る。9は端部の排穀口で、所定の背面押圧力が付
加された圧迫板10が取付けられている。

の糠などの存在が送穀部での送りの安定に貢献
し、いわゆる螺旋の垢付き事故を防止する。更
に、本発明では前処理部で米粒に軽い研削搗精が
加えられているので、精白部で摩擦式による搗精
を行う際の搗精効率が良くなる利点がある。
