Description
【０００１】
本考案はタバコ用フィルターに関するものである。
【０００２】
タバコの喫煙流中に含まれるニコチンやタール等を除去する手段として、従来 から、トリアセチルセルロースやレーヨン等のセルロース繊維集束体からなるフ ィルターが使用されている。 しかしながら、このようなセルロース繊維からなるタバコ用フィルターでは、 ニコチンやタールを除去する能力が十分満足すべきものではなく、さらなる改良 が望まれていた。
【０００３】 一方、タバコの喫煙流中からニコチンやタール成分等をほぼ完全に除去してし まうと、タバコ本来の香味や喫味もなくなってしまう不具合が生じる。

本考案はこの様な現状に鑑み、タバコの喫煙流中に含まれるニコチンやター ル成分等をほぼ完全に除去することが出来、しかも喫煙に伴う香味や喫味を損う ことがないタバコ用フィルターを提供せんとするものである。
【０００５】
斯かる目的を達成する本考案のタバコ用フィルターは、フイルター材にキチン またはキトサンを含浸せしめてなる事を特徴としたものであり、またフイルター 材にキチンまたはキトサン及びタバコの香喫味を含浸せしめてなる事を特徴とし たしたものである。

以下、本考案の実施例を説明する。 本考案におけるキチンとは、カニ，エビ，オキアミ等の甲殻類や昆虫類の外殻 を薬品で処理してタンパク質，カルシウム分などを分離精製してえられる天然高 分子であり、このキチンをさらに脱アセチル化したものがキトサンである。
【０００７】 又、本考案におけるフィルター材１としては、トリアセチルセルロースやレー ヨン等の従来からタバコ用フィルターとして使用されているセルロース繊維集束 体や、或いはパルプ，活性炭などの材料を用い、所要の径，長さを有する円筒状 に形成し、紙巻きタバコの吸い口に一体装着させるか、或いはパイプの内部に装 填させて使用するものである。
【０００８】 そして、このフィルター材１にキチンまたはキトサンを含浸させる。 フィルター材１にキチンまたはキトサンを含浸させる場合、予め円筒状に形成 したフィルター材１にキチンまたはキトサンを滴加して拡散含浸させるか、また は円筒状に形成する前のフィルター材にキチンまたはキトサンを噴霧して含浸さ せる。
【０００９】 更に、キチンまたはキトサンを含浸させたフィルター材１に、タバコ特有の香 味を与えるための所謂タバコフレーバーや、ハッカなどの各種フレーバーからな る香喫味を加える。この場合も、予め円筒状に形成したフィルター材１に香喫味 を滴加して拡散含浸させるか、または円筒状に形成する前のフィルター材に香喫 味を噴霧して含浸させるものである。
【００１０】 次に、フィルター材１にキチンまたはキトサンを含浸せしめたタバコ用フィル ターの試験結果を下記表１に示す。

【００１１】 上記表１における比較例は従来から使用されているセルロース繊維集束体によ るものであり、同セルロース繊維集束体にキチンを含浸させたものを実施例１と し、キトサンを含浸させたものを実施例２とした。 なお、上記表１におけるデリバリーとは、喫煙吸引時にタバコ用フィルターを 通過してくる絶対値（量）を言う。

【考案の効果】 本考案のタバコ用フィルターは、前掲の表１からも明かな通り、通常のセル ロース繊維製タバコ用フィルターと比較して、ニコチン及びタールのろ過率（吸 着性能）が大幅に向上し、特にニコチンのろ過率は約２倍にも達し、タバコの喫 煙流中に含まれるニコチンやタール成分等をほぼ完全に除去することが出来る。
【００１３】 しかも、本考案の請求項２のタバコ用フィルターによれば、単にタバコの喫煙 流中に含まれるニコチンやタール成分等を除去するだけでなく、ニコチンやター ル成分等を除去した結果嗜好性に乏しくなったタバコに、喫煙に伴う香味や喫味 を加味させることが出来、喫煙の嗜好性を損うことがない。
