(57) [Summary] [Purpose] To prevent the column 5 that is fitted to the column receiving portion 7 of the synthetic resin leg 4 in the chair from sinking more than necessary. [Structure] A lower end portion 5a of a column 5 for supporting a seat is
It is formed in a truncated cone shape so that the diameter becomes smaller as it goes downward. On the other hand, a leg receiving member 7 for fitting the lower end portion 5a of the post is provided on the synthetic resin leg 4, and the hole surface 7a of the post receiving portion 7 is formed in a downward tapered shape. A knurled rough surface portion 10 is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the lower end portion 5a of the column. Thus, when a downward load is applied to the column 5, the friction resistance of the rough surface portion is large in the fitted state of the column receiving portion 7 and the lower end 5a, so that the column 5 does not sink more than necessary.
Description
【0001】[0001]
The present invention relates to a structure in which a support pillar for supporting a seat body of a chair is fitted to a leg made of synthetic resin so as not to slip off.
【0002】[0002]
As a prior art of this type of leg device, the lower end of a cylindrical column for supporting a seat in a chair is formed into a truncated cone shape with a diameter that becomes smaller as it goes downward, and this truncated cone shape It has been proposed to fit the lower end part to the tapered fitting receiving part in the center of the metal leg with casters.
【0003】[0003]
By the way, when this leg is integrally formed of a synthetic resin material as disclosed in Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-60813, the thickness of the tapered fitting receiving portion may be excessively increased. Can not. Then, when the downward load of the person sitting on the seat repeatedly acts on the tapered fitting receiving portion via the support column, the diameter of the fitting receiving portion increases, and the support column is positioned more than the initial position. There was a problem that it would sink significantly.
The present invention aims to solve this problem.
【0005】[0005]
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, one of the present invention is to form a lower end of a column for supporting a seat in a chair into a truncated truncated cone shape so that the diameter becomes smaller as it goes downward. A resin leg body is provided with a strut receiving portion for fitting the lower end portion of the strut, and a hole surface of the strut receiving portion is formed in a downward tapered shape. A rough surface portion is provided on either or both of the outer peripheral surface and the hole surface of the column receiving portion.
In another invention, a step portion having a large diameter is formed at an upper end of a hole surface of the strut receiving portion, and the step portion has a portion closer to an upper part of the truncated truncated cone-shaped portion of the lower end portion of the strut. In another configuration, a stepped portion having a large diameter is formed at the upper end of the hole surface of the strut receiving portion. On the outer peripheral surface of the portion closer to the upper part of the truncated truncated cone-shaped portion in, there is provided an engagement protrusion that abuts against the stepped portion.
【0007】[0007]
With this configuration, according to the first aspect of the invention, the lower end of the truncated-cone-conical shape of the supporting column for supporting the seat body is fitted to the tapered supporting column receiving portion of the synthetic resin leg body. When a downward load is applied to the seat, it is necessary to prevent the column from sinking more than necessary due to the frictional resistance of the rough surface provided on either or both of the lower end and the hole surface of the column receiving part. It can be prevented. This effect can be similarly obtained by a tapered annular body which is detachably fitted to the outer periphery of the lower end of the column with respect to the step formed at the upper end of the hole surface of the column receiving portion, and an engaging projection protruding on the outer surface of the lower end portion. it can.
Further, since the rough surface portion, the tapered annular body, and the engagement protrusions protruding from the outer surface of the lower end portion are not fixed to the support pillar receiving portion, the support pillar or the leg body can be replaced during the replacement work. It also has the effect of being easily detached from the legs.
【0009】[0009]
An embodiment embodying the present invention will now be described. The seat 2 of the chair 1 of FIG. 1 is supported by a synthetic resin leg 4 via a gas cylinder 3. The gas cylinder 3 is constructed such that an elevating shaft 6 that moves up and down with respect to a column 5 below it can be held at an appropriate height position by an operating lever (not shown), and the upper end of the elevating shaft 6 is a seat body. Attach it to the bottom surface of 2.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the leg body 4 is integrally molded of synthetic resin. The leg body 4 has a central portion with respect to a vertical line as shown in FIG. Has a downward constricted tapered cross-section or a round-shaped strut receiving portion 7 having an angle of θ, and three or more (five in the embodiment) leg arms are provided on the outer circumference of the strut receiving portion 7. 8 is extended radially in a plan view, and casters 9 are attached to the tips of the leg arms 8.
Then, the lower end portion 5a of the pillar 5 of the gas cylinder 3 is inserted into the pillar receiving portion 7, so that the lower end portion 5a has the same taper angle as the above θ, and the diameter decreases as it goes downward. It is formed in a truncated cone shape or a truncated truncated pyramid shape so that it becomes thinner. In the first embodiment shown in FIG. 3, the outer peripheral surface of the lower end portion 5a of the column is knurled to provide the rough surface portion 10 of the knurl. In this embodiment, the rough surface portion 10 of the knurling is applied to the entire outer peripheral surface of the truncated cone-shaped lower end portion 5a, but it may be applied to the portion having the vertical length H as appropriate. Further, the rough surface portion 0 may be provided only on the hole surface 7a of the strut receiving portion 7, or the rough surface portion 10 may be provided on both the lower end portion 5a and the hole surface 7a of the strut receiving portion 7. The rough surface portion 10 may be a rough surface grinded by a grinder, but in the case of the column support portion 7 as shown in FIG. Therefore, it is preferable that the lower end portion 5a of the column is formed so as not to easily descend.
As another embodiment of forming the rough surface portion 10, an abrasive, for example, hard sand, alumina, silicon carbide, boron carbide, emery, silica stone, etc., is mixed with the paint, and the paint is applied to the lower end portion of the column. The rough surface portion 10 may be formed by coating one or both of the hole 5 a and the hole surface 7 a of the column receiving portion 7. In this case, after the coated surface for forming the rough surface portion 10 is sufficiently dried, the lower end portion 5a of the column is fitted into the column receiving portion 7.
By providing the rough surface portion 10 on one or both of the lower end portion 5 a of the column 5 and the hole surface 7 a of the column receiving portion 7, a downward load (weight) from the seat body 2 is applied to the column 5. In this case, the lower end portion 5a and the fitting portion (contact portion) on the tapered surface of the strut receiving portion 7 are increased by the resistance force in the downward movement direction of the strut, so that the depression of the strut 5 can be suppressed. Further, when the support column 5 is pulled out from the support column receiving portion 7 when the gas cylinder 3 is replaced, the support column 5 can be easily removed because the fitting portions of the two support columns are not bonded.
FIG. 5 and FIG. 6 show a second embodiment, in which a synthetic resin leg 4 is provided with a strut receiving portion 7 for fitting the truncated truncated cone-shaped lower end portion 5a of the strut 5. The hole surface 7a of the strut receiving portion 7 is formed in a downward tapered shape. A stepped portion 11 having a large diameter is formed at the upper end of the hole surface 7a of the strut receiving portion 7, and the stepped portion 11 is provided at a portion of the lower end portion 5a of the strut 5 near the upper part of the truncated truncated cone shape portion. A tapered metal annular body 12 to be fitted and locked is placed. As shown in FIG. 5, the tapered annular body 12 has an inner diameter surface having the same taper angle as the taper angle θ of the outer surface of the lower end portion 5a, and the inner diameter thereof is a truncated truncated cone of the lower end portion 5a of the column 5. Set it so that it will not move upward (shift upward) when it is fitted on the upper part of the shape part. Further, the outer peripheral portion of the tapered annular body 12 is shaped so that it can be placed on the stepped portion 11. As a result, the tapered annular body 12 is previously fitted to the upper end portion of the lower end portion 5a, and in this state, the lower end portion 5a of the support pillar is fitted to the support pillar receiving portion 7 as shown in FIG. With this configuration, when a downward load such as a weight is applied to the support column 5, the lower end portion 5a can be tightened and freely supported through the tapered annular body 12 supported by the stepped portion 11, and the tapered annular body 12 is made of metal. Since it is made of plastic, it is possible to prevent the situation in which the strut receiving part 7 made of synthetic resin expands and is deformed due to the downward load from the strut 5 to sink the strut 5 as in the conventional case. Since the truncated cone-shaped portion of the lower end portion 5a of the column 5 is supported, it is possible to prevent the column 5 from tilting with respect to the vertical. Further, even when the column 5 is removed from the column receiving portion 7, since there is little biting between the lower end portion 5a and the column receiving portion 7 on the tapered surface, the column 5 can be easily removed.
7 and 8 show a third embodiment, in which the lower end portion 5a of the support column 5 for supporting the seat body 2 of the chair 1 has a truncated truncated cone whose diameter becomes smaller as it goes downward. On the other hand, while forming the shape, a supporting column receiving portion 7 for fitting the lower end portion 5a of the supporting column is provided on the leg 4 made of synthetic resin, and the hole surface 7a of the supporting column receiving portion 7 is formed into a downward constricted shape. And a stepped portion 11 having a large diameter is formed at the upper end of the hole surface 7a of the column receiving portion.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7, a ring-shaped engagement projection 13 that abuts against the stepped portion 11 is preliminarily fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the column 5 in the truncated frustum-shaped portion on the upper side. I will keep it. In the embodiment shown in FIG. 8, a plurality of engaging projections 14 projecting downwardly outward are provided at appropriate intervals in the circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface of the column 5 on the upper side of the truncated truncated cone-shaped portion.
Then, with the lower end portion 5a of the support pillar being fitted tightly into the hole surface 7a of the support pillar receiving portion 7, the engaging projections 13 and 14 contact the step portion 11 or It is set so that there is a slight vertical gap with respect to the portion 11. In any case, according to this structure, when a downward load is applied to the support column 5 so that the lower end portion 5a is deformed so as to widen the hole diameter of the support column receiving portion 7 and the support column is going to sink, the above-mentioned engagement The fitting protrusions 13 and 14 contact the stepped portion 11 to prevent the column from further sinking.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 9, the locking pin 15 is inserted and locked so as to pass through the lateral hole 16 of the pillar receiving portion 7 and the insertion hole 17 of the lower end portion 5a of the pillar. It is preferable to attach a split pin 18 for preventing the stopper pin 15 from slipping out. A rough surface portion 10 may be provided on the outer peripheral surface of the lower end portion 5a of the support column, and the support portions 13 and 14 and the tapered annular body 12 may be mounted on the step portion 11 so as not to fall.
