Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title additive capable of suppressing disease developments along with enhancing body weight increasing rate or growth rate through its feeding to livestock or fish in culture by adding sugar to plum fruits followed by addition of low-class distilled spirits and other additive(s) such as vitamin preparation(s) and then getting the resultant composition pickled. CONSTITUTION:An appropriate quantity of sugar is added to plum fruits followed by addition of each small amount of 'shochu' (low-class distilled spirits) and other additive(s) such as vitamin preparation(s) and then getting the resultant composition pickled, thus obtaining the objective additive substantially trimmed in cost. The respective preferable amounts of the above components are as follows: (1) plum fruits: 60-80wt.%; (2) sugar: 20-30wt.%; (3) 'shochu': 1-3wt.%; and (4) other additive(s) such as vitamin preparation(s): 1-4wt.%.

However, it is possible to improve the weight gain and the feed requirement (feed intake) by using, for example, Bihizus bacteria, horigo sugar, and other antibiotics as feed additives that have been conventionally used. The effect is at most 7
You can expect only 0%. Taking the feed requirement as an example, it takes an average of 330kg of feed per pig to be shipped, the cost is not ridiculous, and if the treatment of the disease is treated with antibiotics, the drug The pork is violated and the pig is forced to be disposed of. Furthermore, with conventional feed additives, feed may be excreted undigested when given to livestock and fish in a conventional manner, so in the case of livestock, there is a bad odor in the barn, which is a source of pollution. There is a problem such as becoming.

[Action] By giving this feed additive to livestock, etc., citric acid and malic acid contained in the flesh of plums have a metabolic function, that is, activate the function of the citric acid cycle, and the dietary feed can be used as energy efficiently. As it is converted, the digestion of feed is improved and the bad odor of the barn due to excrement is eliminated. In addition, citric acid, malic acid, tartaric acid, succinic acid, and tartaric acid, which are organic acids of the flesh of plums, and triterpenes such as oleanolic acid exert an effect on various diseases such as livestock and reduce the morbidity. The vitality is enhanced and the body becomes stronger. The weight gain and feed requirement rate of livestock are greatly improved.

The details of the present invention will be described based on an embodiment.
73% of plum fruit (Ome) (weight ratio, same below), 24% of sugar, 1% of shochu, and 2% of other additives such as vitamins are mixed and pickled. If stored in this state for a predetermined period (for example, about one month), the plum fruits ferment and the microorganisms grow. When this fermented plum fruit is added to feed as a feed additive to livestock such as pigs and cows or farmed fish, it is added with citric acid, malic acid, succinic acid and tartaric acid, which are organic acids of the plum pulp, and oleanolic acid. It is effective against various diseases such as livestock by the action of triterpenes. In addition, citric acid, malic acid, and succinic acid, which are contained in large quantities in plum fruits, activate the metabolic function, that is, the function of the citric acid cycle (the circuit that controls the metabolic function by which animals turn food into energy). Efficiently convert underprandial feed to energy. Therefore, the digestion of the feed is improved, and the bad odor of the barn due to excrement is eliminated. Citric acid plays a crucial role in the first step of this circuit. When citric acid becomes deficient, the function of the circuit deteriorates and the efficiency of conversion to energy decreases, excessive production of lactic acid that causes fatigue, which adversely affects livestock such as disease occurrence. By giving the feed additive of the present invention to livestock, cultured fish, etc., the metabolic function of livestock etc. becomes extremely active, so the vitality is enhanced and the body becomes stronger and the body weight gain and feed conversion rate of livestock etc. Not only is it improved, but the morbidity is markedly reduced, and the administration of antibiotics can be minimized while the survival rate is improved. That is, conventionally,
The average amount of feed required before shipment as pigs is 330
However, when the feed additive of the present invention was continuously administered to pigs, the above-mentioned 330 kg of feed was found to have a feed conversion rate of 10 kg.
At 0%, the feed conversion rate was improved to 74% (about 244 kg), which made it possible to greatly save the food cost. Further, in general, the breeding rate of livestock is around 80%, but it was possible to raise the breeding rate of livestock to about 96% by this feed additive. Furthermore, when it was administered to the pigs, the life expectancy of the pigs could be doubled. In this example, 73% of plum fruit (oume) (weight ratio, the same applies hereinafter), 24% of sugar, 1% of shochu, and other additives such as vitamin agents were mixed at a ratio of 2%. The mixing ratio (weight ratio) of additives such as ume fruit, sugar, shochu, and other vitamin agents is not necessarily limited to this example. For example, plum fruit 6
0-80%, sugar 20-30%, shochu 1-3%, and other additives such as vitamins 1
Each may be mixed in appropriate proportions within the range of up to 4 percent (provided that the total does not exceed 100 percent). In addition, the pickled plum fruits may be in the form of granules or powder.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION Since the present invention is constituted as described above, when the feed additive of this invention is fed to livestock or the like, citric acid and malic acid contained in the flesh of plums have a metabolic function, that is, a citric acid cycle By activating the function, the underprandial feed can be efficiently converted into energy, thereby improving the digestion of the feed and eliminating the bad odor of the barn due to the waste being excreted without digestion. , With the activation of the above-mentioned metabolic function, the vitality of livestock is improved, the body becomes healthy, the weight gain and feed requirement rate of livestock etc. are drastically improved, not only the food cost can be saved but also the disease rate is increased. Extremely useful effects such as a significant reduction in the number of antibiotics that can be administered and the breeding rate and survival rate of livestock can be further improved, and the cost can be drastically reduced. It is intended to achieve.
