In this way, deflection in any direction is achieved, and a bypass outlet communicating with a bypass opening is provided on the outer periphery of the circular nozzle, thereby reducing the overall air flow resistance.

The inlet section 2 is formed by a cylindrical section 4. At the upstream end of the outlet section 3, a circular nozzle 6 having a sharp constriction section 5 is held in the cylindrical section 4 by a support section 7. Further, an annular portion formed between the cylindrical portion 4 and the sharply constricted portion 5 serves as a bypass opening 8 . On the downstream side of the circular nozzle 6, a guide wall 9 is formed whose flow path width gradually expands toward the downstream side. In this case, the guide wall 9 has a substantially arcuate cross section. A back pressure generating plate 10 is arranged upstream of the bypass opening 8. The back pressure generating plate 10 has a closing part 11 for blocking the flow and a fan-shaped opening part 12 for passing the flow to the circular nozzle 6.
It is fixed to the shaft 14. The shaft 14 is slidably and rotatably held in a circular hole 17 passing through a locking portion 16 of a support portion 15 provided in the cylindrical portion 4 . Reference numeral 18 denotes an annular wall, and the flow from the bypass opening 8 passes through an annular chamber 20 defined by the annular wall 18 and the downstream end surface 19 of the cylindrical portion 4, and then flows out from the bypass outlet 21. . In this case, the annular wall 18 and the guide wall 9 are integrally formed.

Now, consider the flow inside the entrance section 2. Among the flows toward the circular nozzle 6, the flow near the center travels straight as shown by B1 . On the other hand, the flow toward the bypass opening 8 travels straight as shown by C 1 on the side where the back pressure generating plate 10 is not present, but
On the side where there is, the flow collides with the closed part 11, and becomes an inward flow as shown by D1 .

Contraction occurs in the constriction section 5. The sharp constriction part 5 generates a contraction flow E 1 even on the side where the back pressure generating plate 10 is not present, but since the flow contraction effect is large with the flow D 1 , the flow B 1 is greatly inclined to the left.
At the exit of the circular nozzle 6 a deflected stream G 1 is produced.
This flow G 1 adheres to the arc-shaped guide wall, is further deflected, and has an angle θ 1 with respect to the straight direction.
Let it be H1 .

From the circular nozzle 6, the remainder flows out through the bypass opening 8. Considering the flow inside the inlet section 2, the flow near the center of the flow toward the circular nozzle 6 is
B Go straight like 2 . On the other hand, the flow toward the bypass opening 8 is on the side where the back pressure generating plate 10 is not present.
It moves straight as shown in C 2 , but on the side where the back pressure generating plate 10 is present, the flow collides with the closing part 11,
The flow is inward as shown in D 2 . this flow
Due to D 2 , the straight flow B 2 is deflected to the left, but in this case, the back pressure generating plate 10 is located slightly upstream of the sharp constriction portion 5.
Before flowing into the circular nozzle 6, the back pressure generating plate 10
Influenced by the contraction flow E 2 at the sharp constriction portion 5 on the side where no flow exists, the leftward deflection effect of the flow D 2 is slightly suppressed. The existence of clearance h 2 means that a part of the flow toward the circular nozzle 6 becomes flow F 2 .
This will also occur towards the bypass opening 8,
The existence of this flow also somewhat suppresses the leftward deflection effect due to flow D2 .
この結果、円形ノズル6を通過した流れG2は、

The flow is more circular than G 1 in Figure 2.
Therefore, the adhesion effect of the flow G 2 on the guide wall 9 becomes weaker, and the final flow H 2 also has a smaller deflection angle than the flow H 1 in FIG. 2 (θ 1 >
θ 2 ) state. Most of the flow C 2 heading towards the bypass opening 8 is deflected in the annular chamber 20 in accordance with the shape of the annular wall 18 and flows out from the bypass outlet 21 as a horizontal flow I 2 . Furthermore, in this case, the flow F 2 passing through the clearance h 2 also flows out in the horizontal direction as a flow J 2 .

効果を抑制する。 Next, a case where the shaft 14 is further moved upward and the distance between the back pressure generating plate 10 and the bypass opening 8 is further increased (clearance=h 3 ) will be described with reference to FIG. A portion of the flow A 3 flowing in from upstream flows through the circular nozzle 6, and the rest flows through the bypass opening 8.
More leakage. When considering the flow within the inlet section 2, among the flows toward the circular nozzle 6, the flow near the center travels straight as shown by B3 . On the other hand, the flow toward the bypass opening 8 travels straight as indicated by C 3 on the side where the back pressure generation plate 10 is not present, but on the side where the back pressure generation plate 10 is present, the flow collides with the closing portion 11, resulting in the flow at D 3 . The flow is inward. Due to this flow D 3 , the straight flow B 3 is deflected to the left, but in this case, the back pressure generating plate 10 is located far upstream of the sharp constriction portion 5 , so the circular nozzle 6 Before it flows in, it is greatly influenced by the contraction flow E 3 at the sharp constriction portion 5 on the side where the back pressure generation plate 10 is not present, and the leftward deflection effect of the flow D 3 is suppressed. The presence of the clearance h 3 means that a significant portion of the flow towards the circular nozzle 6 is directed to the flow F 3
The presence of this flow also suppresses the leftward deflection effect due to flow D3 .

The flow becomes a straight flow that is not deflected in any direction, and flows out as a straight flow H3 without adhering to the guide wall 9. Flows C 3 and F 3 toward the bypass opening 8 are:
It is deflected in the annular chamber 20 according to the shape of the annular wall 18 and flows out from the bypass outlet 21 as horizontal flows I 3 and J 3 .

The back pressure generating plate 10 is rotated 180° around the shaft 14 from the state shown in FIG. 2 with the two in close contact with each other. This flow direction control device 1 has an axially symmetrical shape except for the back pressure generating plate 10, so that the flow state is completely symmetrical to the state shown in FIG. 2.

By changing the distance between the guide wall 9 and the guide wall 9, the adhesion effect of the flow to the guide wall 9 is controlled, and it becomes possible to deflect the flow in any direction from straight to wide-angle deflection within the two-dimensional cross-sectional view. Further, since this flow direction control device is formed axially symmetrically, by rotating the back pressure generating plate 10 around the axis 14, it is possible to deflect the flow direction in any three-dimensional direction.

In this case, the flow does not overflow from the closure part 11 in the circumferential direction, but becomes a highly directional flow, which is effectively biased by the deflection of the flow B5 . As a result,
Flow G 5 is deflected more to the left, resulting in a final flow H 5
The flow is also in a more deflected state (θ 5 >θ 1 ) than the flow H 1 in FIG. 2.
