(Field of Industrial Application) The present invention relates to a filter cloth for a belt press type dehydrator. (Prior Art) As is well known, a belt press type dehydrator usually uses two filter cloths, an upper and a lower filter cloth, and dewaters the sludge by sandwiching the sludge between the filter cloths and pressurizing the sludge.
Therefore, in addition to dehydration function, filter cloth is required to have high tensile strength, as well as surface smoothness and appropriate density. Alternatively, a twill weave filter cloth is commonly used. (Problem to be solved by the invention) However, the warp and weft used in the synthetic resin monofilament filter cloth mentioned above are monofilaments with a circular cross section, and the warp is generally crimped on the front and back sides of the fabric. Therefore, various contact frictions are mainly experienced by the warp threads. In particular, the surface of the filter cloth used in belt press dehydrators only comes into contact with the dehydrated product;
Since the back side is subjected to contact friction with various rolls, the top of the crimp of the warp threads on the back side wears out faster than any other part, and the life of the filter cloth depends on the degree of wear of the warp threads. Therefore, even though the front side is still usable, the filter cloth has to be replaced due to early abrasion of the back side warp threads. The above-mentioned disadvantages can be alleviated to some extent by selecting a structure in which many warp threads appear on the back side of the filter cloth, but with such a structure, the removability of the dehydrated material on the front side deteriorates and clogging occurs. will occur. The present invention has been made with the aim of improving the shortened lifespan of filter cloth for belt press dehydrators due to early abrasion of the warp threads on the back side described above. (Means for solving the problems) The belt press filter cloth according to the present invention uses a synthetic resin monofilament with a flat cross section for the warp threads,
By increasing the contact area with the back side warp roll, the progression of wear of the back side warp is alleviated. The flatness of a synthetic resin monofilament with a flat cross section is preferably about a/b = 1.4 to 2.5, where a is the dimension in the width direction of the monofilament and b is the dimension in the thickness direction, and the cross-sectional shape is a horizontally long rectangle. , or a horizontally long track alignment. (Function) In a belt press type dehydrator, the filter cloth and the roll are in line contact, which increases the contact area with the roll compared to conventional monofilaments with a circular cross section, and disperses the contact force against the warp in the width direction. to slow down the progress of wear. (Example 1) Dimension a in the width direction is 0.88 mm, and dimension b in the thickness direction
The warp 1 is a flat polyester monofilament with a rectangular cross section of 0.57 m/m, the weft 2 is a polyester monofilament with a circular cross section with a diameter of 0.8 m/m, the warp density is 35 threads/inch, and the weft thread density is 20 threads/inch.
A filter cloth with a 3/1 loose twill structure as schematically shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 of the inch was woven. (Example 2) The warp 1 is a flat polyester monofilament with a rectangular cross section and a dimension a in the width direction of 0.56 m/m and a dimension b in the thickness direction of 0.28 m/m, and a diameter of 0.6 m/m.
The weft 2 is a polyester monofilament with a circular cross section of m, the warp density is 54 threads/inch, and the weft density is also
A 2/1 twill filter cloth with 33 threads/inch was woven. (Comparative example) A 3/1 twill weave filter cloth with a warp of 0.6 m/mk diameter polyester monofilament and a 0.8 m/m diameter polyester monofilament as the weft, with a warp density of 40 threads/inch and a weft density of 17 threads/inch. woven. In order to compare the wear degree of the warp threads of Example 1 and Comparative Example, both filter cloths were cut into 3 cm width samples.
A wear test was also carried out using an abrasion tester as schematically shown in FIG. The results are shown in the table below. The warp of the comparative example had a cross-sectional area of 50% when the number of strokes of the friction element 11 was 1400, whereas the flat monofilament warp of the example 1 had a cross-sectional area of 50%. When the number of strokes of the friction element 11 was 1800, the cross-sectional area was approximately 50%, and it was confirmed that the filter cloth of the present invention has excellent wear resistance. In addition, on the surface of the friction element 11 in the test machine,
400# sandpaper was used, its stroke size S was 150 m/m, and the tension of the sample was 3 Kg/cm.

[Table] (Effects of the invention) As described above, the present invention provides a filter cloth for a belt press type dehydrator in which the warp and weft are woven with synthetic resin monofilament. is arranged, the abrasion resistance is significantly improved compared to the conventional filter cloth in the same structure as the conventional filter cloth, and the life of the filter cloth can be extended. Moreover, the thickness of both the warp and weft can be made smaller than that of a filter cloth having a circular cross section, resulting in better washability.
