Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve drainage performance for dew water in the core unit of a heat exchanger by a method wherein flat type heat exchanging tubes are arranged in left-and-right direction in parallel, and corrugate fins are arranged between the heat exchanging tubes in a state that the fins are superposed with each other and draining corrugate plates are arranged between the corrugate fins so as to be interposed. CONSTITUTION:Tubes 1 are arranged vertically in parallel at predetermined intervals in the horizontal direction and the upper and lower ends of the tubes 1 are connected so as to communicate respectively with each other. A pair of corrugate fins 3 are arranged in respective clearances between tubes 1 in a condition that the bent directions thereof are vertical direction and a drainage corrugate plate 4 is sandwiched therebetween. Further, the drainage corrugate plate 4 are arranged in a state that the same is interposed between both corrugate fins 3 and the bent direction thereof is directed toward fore-and-aft direction. Dew water, adhering to the surfaces of the tubes 1 and/or the corrugate fins 3 during heat exchanging, flows down smoothly from the corrugate plates 4 toward the lower part of the heat exchanger along the flat surfaces 3a of the corrugate fins 3.

2. Description of the Related Art Recently, as a condenser, as shown in FIG. 6, a large number of flat tubes (51) are oriented horizontally and arranged in parallel in the vertical direction, and A heat exchanger called a so-called multi-flow type or parallel flow type, in which a pair of left and right hollow headers (52) (52) are connected in communication with both ends of these tubes (51), has a high heat exchange performance, It tends to be used favorably because it can realize ultra compactness. Incidentally, (53) is a corrugated fin, and (54) and (55) are pipe connecting pipe portions.

However, unlike the condenser, the evaporator has a troublesome problem that condensed water is generated, and when the above-mentioned multi-flow heat exchanger is directly applied to the evaporator,
Since the tube (52) is placed horizontally, most of the dew condensation water generated in the core part during heat exchange is not discharged, and a large amount of water accumulates in the core part during heat exchange, creating ventilation. This causes a problem that resistance is increased and heat transfer performance is deteriorated.

In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, a plurality of flat heat exchange tube portions are oriented in the up-down direction and arranged in parallel in the left-right direction, and the heat exchange tube portions are arranged in parallel. A pair of corrugated fins bent in a vertical direction between the corrugated fins are arranged so as to be overlapped with each other, and a corrugated drainage corrugated in a front-rear direction is bent between the corrugated fins. The gist of the heat exchanger is that the plates are arranged in an intervening state.

In the above structure, since the heat exchange pipe portion is oriented in the vertical direction, the drainage of the condensed water is not obstructed by the heat exchange pipe portion. Moreover, between the heat exchange tubes,
A pair of corrugated fins bent in a vertical direction in a corrugated shape are arranged so as to be superposed on each other, and a drainage corrugated plate bent in a corrugated shape in the front-rear direction is arranged between both corrugated fins. By being arranged in the intervening state, the condensed water can flow down along the drainage corrugated plate, and the discharge of the condensed water is not obstructed by the fins. Therefore, the dew condensation water flows down smoothly, and high dew condensation water discharge performance is exhibited.

The drainage corrugated plate (4) is an aluminum sheet having substantially the same length as the corrugated fins (3) bent in a corrugated shape in the width direction thereof, and the width in the bent direction is the first. As shown in the figure, like the corrugated fins (3), the width of the tube (1) is substantially the same. The height p h of the corrugated plate (4) needs to be set as low as possible so as not to obstruct the flow of air flowing through the heat exchanger in the front-rear direction and high enough to allow good drainage of condensed water. There is. Specifically, it is set to 2 mm, for example. As shown in the figure, the drainage corrugated plate (4) is disposed between the corrugated fins (3) and (3) with the bending direction facing forward and backward.

In the evaporator having the above structure, during heat exchange, the condensed water adhering to the surfaces of the tube (1) and the corrugated fins (3) travels along the flat plate portion (3a) of the corrugated fins (3). It goes toward (4) and smoothly flows down the corrugated plate (4) to the lower part of the heat exchanger without any trouble. Therefore, efficient heat exchange can be realized without causing a large decrease in heat exchange performance due to dew condensation water as in the conventional case.

As shown in FIG. 4, the rear edge portion (4a) of the corrugated plate (4) is made to project rearward from the rear edge portion of the corrugated fin (3). The flat plate portion (3a) of the corrugated fin (3) by the air passing through the heat exchanger core in the front-back direction during heat exchange.
Condensed water that moves upward toward the rear is guided to the protruding rear edge portion (4a) side by the action of surface tension, and flows down along the protruding edge portion (4a). Therefore, it is possible to prevent the condensation water from being blown off.

As described above, the heat exchanger of the present invention is
A plurality of flat heat exchange pipe parts are oriented in the up-down direction and arranged in parallel in the left-right direction, and between the heat exchange pipe parts, a pair of corrugates bent in the up-down direction in a corrugated shape. Since the fins are arranged so as to be overlapped with each other, and a corrugated plate for drainage, which is bent in a corrugated shape in the front-rear direction, is arranged between both corrugated fins, the heat exchanger is disposed. When the heat exchanger is made to function as an evaporator, the dew condensation water flows down smoothly with the core part of the heat exchanger downward, so that there is little dew condensation water that accumulates in the core part during heat exchange, resulting in efficient heat exchange. Can be realized.
